Monday - Part 2 Elizabeth: It's pretty obvious you're not over Robin yet, and somehow I seriously doubt she found a way to get over you. If the love is still there, why not try to work things out?
Patrick: I will always love Robin and want the best for her. But I'm not it.
Elizabeth: How do you know?
Patrick: Because she told me in no uncertain terms that she wants a family, and I don't.
Elizabeth: Oh. Is the thought of committing to one person for the rest of your life really that scary?
Patrick: Surprisingly, commitment is not the problem. Robin and I were together for a year and a half. If this whole baby thing didn't happen, we'd still be together. We broke up because we have fundamentally different views of what we want out of life. Now, if I was to have a baby with her to try and hold on to a relationship, that wouldn't be fair to anyone, most of all the child. Elizabeth, I just -- I don't think I'm father material.
Elizabeth: That's what most men say until the moment they hold their first child.
Patrick: I like my life the way it is. Do I wish Robin was in it? Absolutely. But realistically, I know that that can't happen. So I have to try and find a way to accept that I can love someone and want to be with them, but for whatever reason, we can't share a life together.
Elizabeth: If you figure out how to make peace with that, will you let me know?
Carly: Ok, I want you to tell me everything, starting with what you were doing with Johnny up in the mountains.
Lulu: A lot has happened since we last talked -- not just with Johnny, but with Logan, too.
Carly: So he wasn't just running his mouth about you forgiving him, you -- he wasn't making that up?
Lulu: Yeah, we agreed to try again.
Carly: Why?
Lulu: Because I made a deal with Scott Baldwin. Um, he said that he would drop the charges against my dad and give guardianship of my mom back over to Nikolas if I gave Logan a second chance.
Carly: That's not a deal, Lulu, that's blackmail.
Lulu: You sound exactly like my dad. He thinks that Scott's really using me, and this is all about him trying to get back at my dad.
Carly: I can't believe I'm going to side with your father, but no one knows Scott better than your father, and if Luke thinks that he has some kind of an agenda, he probably does.
Lulu: Scott feels bad about bailing on Logan, and he's trying to score points any way that he can.
Carly: Because Scott was a deadbeat dad doesn't mean it's up to you to fix it.
Lulu: The truth is I've been looking for an excuse to try again with Logan.
Carly: Then what were you doing with Johnny up at the cabin?
Lulu: Ugh. I was trying to explain to my dad why I care about Logan, he basically made me feel like a fool. So I started second-guessing myself, and the more I tried to make sense of it, the more confused I got, so I took off, and I ran into Johnny.
Carly: You're second-guessing yourself because you know that Logan is a lying, unfaithful jerk, and if you get back together with him, he is just going to break your heart again.
Lulu: You don't know Logan like I do.
Carly: I know when he doesn't get what he wants, he loses it, just like he did with me today.
Lulu: What are you talking about?
Carly: He busted in my house looking for you, and when I told him to get out, he grabbed me. I'm telling you, the sooner you get rid of this guy, the happier you will be.
Trevor: John -- John, do you want to destroy everything that your father's built up by allowing Sonny Corinthos to see him like this?
Johnny: It's his to destroy, remember that.
Trevor: No, John, it's going to be "yours" one day. So now I got to clean it up for both of you, so, please, a little help would be nice. No more visits to Lulu Spencer.
Johnny: You can relax. I made sure Lulu will never want to see me again.
Trevor: And that's a wise choice. The last thing you want your father to find out is why you have been taking off.
Johnny: Lulu's name better not come up anywhere near my father.
Trevor: Johnny, Johnny. You want Lulu to be safe? Stay home. Don't make your father come looking for you.
Sonny: From what I hear, Zacchara's always been a crazy, ruthless bastard, ok, who's been hanging on by a thread. If his wife was murdered, that could've been enough to make him snap.
Jason: And when he did, Trevor was there to pick up the pieces.
Sonny: Right, and Trevor, you know, got him out of the city, left him in Crimson Pointe, had somebody watching him 24 hours. Hey, you know what? If nobody knows that Zacchara's crazy, then Trevor can run things in his name.
Jason: And he has complete deniability.
Sonny: It's the perfect -- it's the perfect setup. Trevor can call the shots, and, you know, Zacchara can take blame for the fallout.
Jason: Oh, man, you said Anthony made some threats. What -- what?
Sonny: He's -- he's totally and criminally insane, and there's no doubt in my mind that if he got loose, he would make good on his promise and come after my family.
Logan: I'm glad you called.
Lulu: Sorry, I didn't mean to take off without telling you.
Logan: What's wrong? Did I do something to upset you?
Lulu: I -- no, I just -- needed time to think. I have so many voices in my head, I don't know which one is mine anymore.
Logan: Let me guess -- they're all saying "get rid of Logan."
Lulu: No, not all of them.
Logan: So where were you?
Lulu: I -- um -- went up to the mountains for the night, and then when I came back, I stopped by Carly's, and she said stuff got kind of ugly with the two of you?
Logan: Yeah, they did. I realized I don't -- um -- I don't think we're going to work after all.
Sonny: Focus is on Trevor Lansing. If you see Johnny Zacchara around town, you leave him alone.
Milo: What if he's with Lulu?
Sonny: Then you take her home. I don't want you to lay a hand on Johnny Zacchara. You understand what I'm saying?
Milo: Yes, I do, Mr. C.
Sonny: You got your tail -- the tail on Trevor?
Max: They've been on him all week.
Sonny: Ok, I want you to find him, bring him here. Ok?
Max: Sure, boss. Anything -- anything else?
Sonny: Yeah, I want you to put some more guards on -- on Carly and the boys.
Max: Jax already has around-the-clock --
Sonny: I don't care what Jax wants. Zacchara's threatening them. For all I know, he put a hit out on Michael and Morgan, and Leticia got killed instead. I can't take any more chances.
Max: Of course not. Uh -- just so you know, Mrs. C isn't going to like this very much.
Sonny: You know what, Max? She can get in my face all she wants. But at least I know she's alive.
Carly: Oh, Jason, thank got you're here. I have so much to tell you, starting with Lulu -- you'll never believe what she did this time.
Jason: No, no, no, no, you need to -- you need to let me go first, it's important. I checked on Michael and Morgan, and they're -- they're fine.
Carly: Why wouldn't they be fine?
Jason: Because Sonny met with Anthony Zacchara today.
Carly: Did he see Lulu there? Because she was --
Jason: No -- please, Carly, you need to listen to me. Sonny says that Anthony is crazy, and I'm -- I'm talking totally insane. He threatened to kill Michael and Morgan.
Carly: You're not going to let that happen.
Jason: No, Zacchara is basically a prisoner in his own home, there's guards on him 24/7, he has no real power anymore.
Carly: Then why are you scaring me like this?
Jason: Because Sonny says if this guy got loose, might make good on his word. You're -- you're their mother, you need to know the danger exists.
Carly: What are you going to do about this?
Jason: I -- it's complicated. Sonny says the place is like a fortress, it would be really hard to get to Zacchara, and nobody knows the guy's crazy -- Trevor's been covering for him for years. So it would look like that Sonny went in, killed his rival in his own home without being provoked.
Carly: And then someone would turn around and do that to Sonny.
Jason: Right. I mean, it's just -- it's just going to take time to deal with Zacchara. I mean, that doesn't mean you and the boys need to change how you live. But you -- you need to be careful this time.
Carly: If that son of a bitch comes near my kids, I'll kill him myself.
Jason: I'm -- I'm going to take care of it. Not as soon as I would like, but I will.
Carly: I want you to tell me everything that's happened. Start from the beginning so I can wrap my brain around this, Jason.
Jason: It's just business. Most of it's business --
Carly: If Anthony Zacchara is trying to kill my kids, then I get to know why.
Jax: You know, I was never in a hurry to have kids. I always thought that it would just happen one day.
Kate: Hmm.
Jax: A few years ago, I was involved with a surrogacy -- that didn't turn out too well. Then I married Carly. And I have two great stepsons, but I would like another child -- preferably a girl. But I'm not picky, you know.
Kate: And Carly disagrees?
Jax: She's afraid that she'll have difficulty getting pregnant, which will then put a strain on our marriage.
Kate: Well, she has a point. I've known a few marriages who have broken up over fertility issues.
Jax: Really?
Kate: Ironically, usually it's -- it's the woman who wants to do it because, you know, she has a career, she feels like her time is running out, and so they get on the fertility bandwagon and -- they got the shots and the temperature testing, and, sadly, even sometimes when there is a baby, it's too late, the marriage is already falling apart.
Jax: Right, so you're saying I should let it go?
Kate: What I'm saying is that my advice and a $1.70 will get you a cup of coffee.
Jax: No, no, come on, I still want to hear it.
Kate: Jax, I don't like Carly very much, but that doesn't mean that I'm oblivious to her strengths. I think in time that Carly will realize that having a baby with her husband is worth the emotional upheaval -- after all, Carly does seem to thrive on emotional upheaval.
Jax: So you're saying I should just wait her out?
Kate: I think that Carly will realize that she does want to have a baby with you, I think you just need to give her some time to realize it.
Patrick: One more question. Is that ok?
Elizabeth: Ask away.
Patrick: If you had to do it all over again, would you make it work with Lucky? Or would you have let of it sooner?
Elizabeth: Uh -- as much as I care about Lucky, I should've never remarried him.
Patrick: Why did you?
Elizabeth: He checked himself into rehab, he got clean so he could get his family back -- I wanted to support him.
Patrick: Yeah.
Elizabeth: And I wanted our family and our love to come back, too. But I remarried him even though my feelings had changed, and if I'd been honest from the start, I could've saved us both a lot of pain.
Patrick: So you think a clean break is best?
Elizabeth: I can't speak for anyone else. I wasn't in love with Lucky, you can't say that about Robin. And until you can, I don't think you'll ever be able to make a clean break.
Patrick: Can you tell me when Mr. Westmoreland's labs are back, please?
Elizabeth: Yes.
Patrick: Thank you.
Robin: I'm sure Patrick just gave you an earful of my plans to have a baby, but don't worry. Lucky won't be making a contribution -- he turned me down. Go ahead, say it. I mean, I -- I asked the man who is technically still your husband to be the father of my child. You have every right to tell me how you feel about that -- and, believe me, can't be any worse than what Carly said when I asked Jax.
Elizabeth: You asked Jax?
Robin: And Leo. But I'm 0-3 for potential fathers -- Patrick will be happy to hear that. I know how that must sound. It's really not that way. See, I made a list of men, mainly friends, who had qualities that I would like to pass on to a child.
Elizabeth: You don't have to explain.
Robin: Seems like that's all I've been doing lately. I keep having to defend why I want to have a child and raise it on my own.
Elizabeth: Ok, not that my opinion matters, but if you want to have a baby, I think you should.
Robin: Thank you.
Elizabeth: One word of advice -- use a sperm bank, not a friend.
Robin: Why?
Elizabeth: Even with the best of intentions, I seriously doubt any guy on your list will be able to walk away from his own child once it's born.
Lulu: You want to break up with me when we're technically not together?
Logan: All I want is for you to be happy. There's not a chance of that happening with your family, your friends, and everyone else constantly coming down on you for being with me.
Lulu: Since when do you care what people think?
Logan: I'm sorry, ok? I just don't want to set myself up to be angry all the time. And I definitely don't want to go off on somebody else like I did with Carly today.
Lulu: What was that about anyway?
Logan: I just -- she told me to stay away from you.
Lulu: Well, that's not Carly's call to make.
Logan: Well, I still shouldn't have grabbed her. I mean, that's proof that this is a bad idea. You would not even be here standing, talking to me right now if Baldwin hadn't scammed you into giving me a second chance.
Lulu: I know what I'm doing.
Logan: Look, you were trying to take care of your parents. I don't blame you for that. But, Lulu, Baldwin signed the papers. You're not obligated to him, me, or anybody else. You're free to be with whoever you want.
Handler: Texting your girlfriend?
Johnny: You shouldn't have brought Lulu here.
Handler: Yeah? Well, you shouldn't have ran off. But I guess we know where to find you when you do.
Carly: Ok, listen to me. Lulu was here. She took off with Johnny Zacchara again, and then Zacchara's men picked her up. She was in the Zacchara house.
Jason: Yeah, as soon as Sonny got there, he had her sent home.
Carly: I don't understand. If Anthony's not in charge, how can he have his men pick her up?
Jason: Ok, Trevor Lansing is running the Zacchara organization. He can only do that by hiding the fact that Anthony is absolutely crazy.
Carly: So Trevor had Lulu picked up?
Jason: Right, so Johnny would come back home. Anthony is obsessed with his son, and you know what? Trevor uses Johnny to keep Anthony calm and manageable.
Carly: So all those trips to Port Charles was just so Johnny could get away from his crazy father?
Jason: Right. And if anything happens to Johnny, Trevor loses all control over Anthony.
Carly: Which explains why Trevor was so weirdly overprotective of Johnny, telling me to keep Lulu away from him. Huh. You know, he made Johnny out to be the crazy one, when Anthony's the nut job, and Johnny's basically in the unfortunate position of being a bargaining chip.
Jason: Yeah, pretty much.
Carly: Well, it's not like Johnny's completely normal. I mean, he's a little off. Why wouldn't he be? You know, he's the son of a mob boss, been around violence his whole life. Are you sure Michael and Morgan are ok?
Jason: Well, I can check with the guards again if you want.
Carly: No, no, I'm just thinking how Johnny is basically a hostage for his father. I don't want that to happen to Michael and Morgan.
Trevor: You son of -- this is the last time that I get picked up by your men.
Sonny: You just might want to get your own bodyguards then, right? But that might send out a message that you're not just Anthony Zacchara's mouthpiece. And that would ruin the arrangement you've worked so hard to keep quiet. You guys go ahead and go, because I got some business to take care of. It's a nice little setup you got going there, Trevor.
[Door closes]
Sonny: Zacchara's out of his mind, so you step in and run his organization. You get all the power, none of the blame, and I'm sure you found a way to make him think that he's calling the shots. Every threat you make, every hit that you order, he thinks it's coming from him, but I sure as hell know better. And I want you to know that that threat -- for me to step aside, unless my family's going to pay? That came from you. Now, I want to give you my answer.
>> On the next "general hospital" --
Jason: Sonny knows that Trevor's running the organization. It's possible Trevor might back off. Sonny: Port Charles is mine. Trevor: What makes you think you have a choice? Lucky: Welcome home.
