Part 2

Monica: It was very arrogant of me to think that I could use my emotional detachment that I had developed as a doctor over the years to just push away Emily's death, or just block it out and go on and do what I knew I did best, and that was saving lives.

Tracy: Monica, what about Luke?

Monica: I froze. I saw Emily's face everywhere and I lost focus. And then I thought I was losing him.

Lulu: But when you left the operating room, my dad was still alive, right?

Monica: Yes. Dr. Julian is doing everything he can. I just hope to god he makes it.

Luke: Excuse me.

Scott: Hmm.

Luke: What did you call him? T

racy: What's it to you?

Luke: You're my wife, wife.

[Tracy laughs]

Skye: She was your wife. You took off one too many times and Tracy left you.

Tracy: I was just a pit stop. You were never committed to me. I was a cash withdrawal on your way to wherever.

Luke: That's -- that's not true.

Scott: Speaking of cash -- your alimony payment is late, Spencer.

Tracy: Again.

Luke: Alimo-- alimony? My -- you don't need my money! You're filthy, disgusting rich!

Tracy: My lover man likes a little extra mad money. It makes him happy. Sweetheart?

Scott: Mm-hmm?

Tracy: The jet is waiting.

Scott: Mm-hmm.

Tracy: I'll be in the car -

Scott: Hmm.

Tracy: Getting ready.

Scott: Ah! Oh, what a great girl she is. But I don't have to tell you that, do I? Do you have a message for Holly?

Luke: Holly?

Scott: Yes, yes. She's going to be at the opening of my casino, and then her and I are going to slip off to Nassau for a little fun.

Luke: You're cheating on Tracy? Finally, something that makes sense.

Scott: There's no cheating. Tracy -- she loves to share me. I got a great life, Spencer! Great! See you around.

Johnny: If you sent your lawyer to help me hoping I would agree to enter some kind of truce, I can't make any guarantees.

Jason: I don't think you're guilty. So I don't want the cops wasting time on you when they can be out there looking for whoever really killed my sister. As far as business, you owe me nothing. Don't mistake kindness for weakness. If I get the order to take you out, you're out.

Kate: Hmm, being here in your arms, it feels like the rest of the world doesn't really matter.

Sonny: Well, there -- you know, the real world is out there, it's rough, but you know -- well, we got to get beyond arguing about security systems and, you know, my wall oversteps your property line.

Kate: Hmm.

Sonny: Can we just -- can we go upstairs? And then I want -- I want you to wake up in my arms.

Kate: Really?

Sonny: Yeah.

Kate: Hmm. Hmm, that sounds nice.

Sonny: And?

Kate: I can't.

Sonny: What do you mean, you can't? It's just right there.

Kate: Sonny -- Sonny: What?

Kate: I love you. I love what we have. I love what we can have. But I also do care about whose security system is guarding me, and a few inches, because they're mine, because it's about boundaries, and until you can show me that you can respect how I feel -- by removing your security, by setting the wall back -- I can't -- I can't spend the night.

Sonny: But that's like blackmail.

Kate: Mm-hmm, yeah. Didn't you say it was a rough world out there?

Georgie: Thank you for having me over. I realize that it's late.

Spinelli: Well, The Jackal is at your disposal, but first, may I ask -- are you all right?

Georgie: A little shaky.

Spinelli: Yeah, I -- I know you walked in on -- on the maniacal one trying to kill your sister.

Georgie: That -- it was awful. But I'm really, really glad that I did, because Maxie could have been dead.

Spinelli: Yeah, but you could have been hurt by this phantom of death. I'm sorry, I'm just -- I'm glad you're in one piece. Um -- I assume you have need of my cyber skills?

Georgie: Um -- yes, but it's top secret.

Spinelli: Well, my discretion is assured.

Georgie: Ok. I got a text message.

Spinelli: "Seen your sis"?

Georgie: Can you trace it?

Sonny: I just spoke to Diane. Uh -- you got Johnny Zacchara back on the street?

Jason: I want whoever really killed Emily to pay, that's what I want.

Sonny: What makes you so sure it's not Johnny?

Jason: I just got a feeling.

Sonny: You got a feeling? I'm not as convinced, but at least he owes us one.

Jason: Whew. Trevor showed up at my apartment, making threats about how somebody else I cared about would die in retaliation for going over his head, and I -- I lost it.

Sonny: Tell me you wasted that son of a bitch.

Trevor: Hold on, I'll call you back. Corinthos' silly lawyer had you out on the street hours ago. Where you been?

Johnny: I don't answer to you.

Trevor: Hmm. You know, you were a fool to accept her help. Her interests are in Sonny, not you.

Johnny: You have the bad history with Sonny, not me.

Trevor: Oh -- when you were released from that station and walked into the street, they could have shot you dead right there.

Johnny: If you're so concerned about my safety, you should have been there instead of Corinthos' lawyer. Where were you?

Trevor: What was your big rush to get out?

Lesley: We are all sympathetic for your loss. And we're thankful to you for trying to help Luke.

Bobbie: I was there when you got the results of Luke's last tests. He had to have the surgery immediately. You were courageous to take it on.

Monica: No. No, I was just burying my pain at work, at the expense of a patient. You were right, Tracy. I never should have done that.

Tracy: Don't you talk to me.

Lucky: Nobody said my dad was dead.

Tracy: Oh -

Lulu: When will we know something?

Monica: They're doing everything they can to save him, but I -- I'm not going to mislead you. When Dr. Julian got in there, he was slipping away.

Skye: Looks like you tired them out.

[Luke groans]

Luke: I'm dead, blaze. I mean, I'm really dead. You got to do something.

Skye: Out of my hands.

[Luke moans]

Luke: Well, then -- then I need fortification.

[Chimes sound]

Luke: Ah. There is a god. Ah. Hmm. Hey, you got a light? Where's the matches? Where's the matches? Where -- no, don't tell me I can't get a light in hell!

[Chimes]

Luke: Oh. You're an angel. Oh, wait a minute. Oh, I get it. None of them work, right?

[Chimes]

Luke: Ah. Oh, wait. What's the deal here? Dribble glass? I don't care. I'll lick the sides. Hell, I'll suck it out of the rug. Whoa. Oh, no. Oh, you have got to be joking!

Skye: No, we don't joke around here.

Luke: All this because I chose the wrong surgeon.

Skye: You were on that path long before you had a heart attack. The question is, if you could do it all over again -- the carousing, the boozing, the blackmail, the larceny -

Luke: Oh, rub it in. Remind me of the good old days.

Skye: If you knew then what you know now, would you live your life any differently?

Luke: Absolutely not. My life was heaven. What's the matter? Wrong answer? Blaze? Blaze, where are you going? No! Hey! Wait, you can't leave me! Hey, you're my guide! Blaze! What am I supposed to do now?

Spinelli: This message is just like the others -- piggybacked on to an implausible suspect's phone.

Georgie: Who?

Spinelli: A most unfunny choice. Your parental unit, Commissioner Scorpio himself.

Georgie: Ok, what -- what if we do this differently? Can we trace the number backwards?

Spinelli: I -- well, yeah. I mean, I can try, but do you have the numerical sequence of origin?

Georgie: Yes.

Spinelli: Well -- um -- well, who's the current suspect?

Georgie: Cooper Barrett. He was the first guy Carly suspected in Leticia's murder, and her instincts may have been right. He has no real alibi for most of the black-and-white ball, and he fits the description of the guy that Johnny and I both caught glimpses of. And seriously, what do we really know about this guy? He was a soldier that fought in Iraq and showed up out of nowhere. And guess what? Tonight, I was at Kelly's, and he was looking through the window at Maxie, and guess what he was doing.

Spinelli: Texting?

Georgie: Yes, right around the time my sister got a text message from an unknown number saying "c u soon." Spinelli, I'm afraid my sister's in love with the man trying to kill her.

Maxie: It's not like I haven't been close to death. I mean, my heart transplant saved my life. It almost took me out of it a couple times. But the fear of dying was never as real as when the psycho was strangling me. All I could think was that I'm not ready. I want more time to spend with the people who matter to me, like you. I really don't want to be alone tonight.

Coop: Good. Because I was going to ask you to stay with me.

Maxie: Oh.

Leo: We can't do a bypass on this man's heart. He doesn't have one.

Luke: I heard that.

Leo: I'm afraid there's nothing more we can do for Mr. Spencer. Let's close.

Skye: Is this really how you want it to end?

[Skye's voice echoes]

Skye: Welcome back.

Luke: Blaze? You mean -- I'm not -

Tracy: You're still with us. How are you feeling?

Luke: Huh. Like I've been to hell and back.

Lulu: I'm so relieved my dad's ok. I was so scared.

Logan: It's good to see you smile again.

[Lulu sighs]

Lulu: Yeah, I really want to see him.

Logan: Well, you go do what you want to do, but you probably ought to let him rest, you know?

Lulu: Yeah, yeah, you're probably right. Tracy is probably all over him. Well, tonight was a horrible night, but it would have been so much worse without you.

Logan: Hey, I wouldn't be anywhere else. Come here.

Trevor: You know, had I run down there to the paced too quickly, they would have thought that you had something to hide.

Johnny: Did my father actually buy this crap from you? Because I don't.

Trevor: Even when your father was young and I knew him, he was never as green as you.

Johnny: I'm in charge now, whether you like it or not. We're entering into a truce with Corinthos.

Trevor: I'm really sorry to bust your bubble, boy. It's too late. Congratulations. You just took your first defensive move.

Jason: Spinelli was there. I couldn't -- I couldn't let him get involved.

Sonny: You know we're going to pay for that.

Jason: Yeah. I got to go to the pier to meet the -

Max: There is no shipment.

Sonny: What happened, Max?

Max: We got hit a mile offshore. The product's gone.

Jason: Were -- were you shot?

Max: No, no, I was just grazed. I'm ok. Two of our guys are dead, one's critical. These guys came out of nowhere.

Sonny: The Zaccharas just declared war.

>> On the next "General Hospital" -

Georgie: How much do you really know about him? I mean, really?
Johnny: There is no way you are going to force me into a mob war!
Sonny: The Zaccharas know how we deal with things.
Jason: I'll take care of it.
