Part 2

Joe: No!

Jason: It's ok -- it's not a real bomb!

Joe: How did you know?

Jason: I heard you talking about wanting to pass that car to your boy. You're just a father who loves his son. You'd have to feel pretty lucky to gamble with a real bomb and not end up hurting him.

Mac: Freeze! Freeze!

Sam: No, no, no, don't shoot! There -- there is no bomb. There never was.

Mac: Cuff him! Cuff him!

Russell: I want that man arrested, and then you take his wife to the county.

Cassius: All due respect, sir -- I mean, does it always have to be about money? I mean, people deserve good medical care.

Russell: Yes, and they can get that -- at the county.

Joe: Please, let me see my wife.

Mac: No, you're going downtown. Let's go.

Joe: No, please -- I want to see her, I want to tell her that I love her. Please -- Sam, go, tell her that I did it for her and the baby!

Sam: Ok!

Joe: Please!

Sam: I will.

Elizabeth: Jake, look at mommy. Hi, baby. You look so much better. That was scary, huh? Oh, thank you for bringing him to see me.

Man: Hey, padre? What's taking so long?

Man: What the --

Man: You're going to be sorry you did that.

Spinelli: Aut vincere aut mori.

Man: Hey -- I thought you were silent.

Spinelli: Good idea. Acta, non verba! Oh --

Carly: I know we discussed having a baby.

Jax: Well, not so much as me bringing up the possibility and the desire, and then you coming up with a hundred different reasons not to. If you expended, say, half the amount of energy on you and me that I can only imagine you've spent working yourself up over Jason's baby --

Carly: How do you know I haven't?

Jax: I don't know. Have you?

Kate: How do you like your parmigiano?

Sonny: Honestly, mine's better.

Kate: Last time we were here, you said it wasn't as good as your mother's. Gee, I wonder if anything is ever good enough for you.

Sonny: Some things, and some things are even better than I expected -- or remembered.

[Woman laughs]

Man: That's ridiculous. It's -- we're leaving, come on.

Kate: Wow. Looks like the madam has spoken and someone didn't like what she had to say.

Sonny: Good old Madam Zoltinho.

Kate: Oh, you were so serious about what she told us that night.

Sonny: What do you mean? You were. I didn't buy into that -- some machine pops out cards --

Kate: Oh, come on.

Sonny: With something vaguely written on them. Come on.

Kate: Sonny, there's something so creepy about her. I only went over to her in the first place because she needed a makeover -- I mean, really.

Sonny: Really?

Kate: Yeah, and then there you were -- voila -- with two coins and that daring smile on your face.

Sonny: Ooh. Right.

[Kate giggles]

Kate: I remember what my fortune was that night, do you?

Sonny: Mm-hmm. You first.

Kate: "You will lose yourself in someone else." I was all excited because I was certain she was talking about you.

Sonny: But she wasn't.

Kate: What do you mean?

Sonny: You did lose yourself in another person -- and the person's name is Kate Howard.

Mayor Floyd: Excuse me, nurse? My knee is severely swollen, I could use some attention.

Nurse: Be right with you, Mayor Floyd.

Mayor Floyd: But --

Edward: Oh, Jason? That was some very good work you did in there, son. Whether or not you want to admit it, you showed real Quatermaine spirit -- don't you think so, Monica?

Patrick: During your last episode, we were able to draw some blood so we could see what hormones you were secreting while in rage.

Nikolas: So you did that on purpose?

Patrick: It was the only way I could get a true blood test, and we're optimistic that we're going to be able to find some answers.

Nikolas: I don't appreciate being treated like a test animal.

Patrick: Nikolas, when this blood gets back, we're going to have some answers and help you.

Nadine: Patrick has been working day and night to find a way to help you in this. He cares about you -- we all do.

Sam: Lucky? Hi. I'm -- I'm a little shaky and -- I don't know. Do you want to come home with me?

Lucky: You know, I'm just going to stay here for a while, make sure everything's ok with Elizabeth and Jake.

Sam: Ok.

Johnny: Lulu, you ok? It's Johnny.

Lulu: Oh, my -- I'm so confused. I -- I don't understand. What's happening?

Johnny: I'll explain later. Right now, I need to get you the hell out of here.

Lulu: Oh -- I'm so cold I can barely move. Ow -- great! I just think it's badly sprained -- ow! No, it's broken, it's broken.

Johnny: Don't worry, I got you.

Lulu: No, I am not helpless!

Johnny: Why are you being stubborn? I need to get you out of here now.

Lulu: Why am I here? What do you have to do with this?

Johnny: I will argue with you all you want once we get out of here. Just come with --

Lulu: No!

Johnny: Agh! Damn it!

Lulu: Oh, my god -- oh, my god, I'm so sorry.

Carly: I love you so much. And there's nothing that I want to give you more than a child. I have been trying very hard to get pregnant. I have been taking my temperature a million times day, sneaking over to Dr. Lee's office taking test after test. That was supposed to be your Christmas present, not that stupid sweater -- the news of a child. I was willing to do whatever it takes, and I was so sure that I was pregnant, you know? So sure that I even -- um -- I even bought this for our baby. But -- um -- well, there's no baby. I can't -- I can't.

Jax: Do you have any idea how much I love you, Carly? You shouldn't be doing this alone. You know, this -- this will be our baby, and we're going to do whatever it takes -- together. Don't shut me out, Carly. I mean, whether -- whether we succeed or not, this is our journey. We need to take it together.

Carly: I would like that more than anything.

Jax: Hey.

Lulu: Ok, ok, we need to take care of that fast. Um -- if we can make it back to my room, then maybe we can find something to stop the bleeding. I was able to move some loose stones and escape to the tunnels -- they probably don't even know that I'm gone.

Johnny: It's too risky.

Lulu: What?

Johnny: There's got to be something about this wall.

Lulu: What about it?

Johnny: Well, why is this soldier carrying a box toward a dead end -- unless it isn't one.

Lulu: I don't -- what are you talking about?

Johnny: This place was used as a smugglers' haven. They couldn't just leave all the stuff hanging out. They had to have been a little more clever. Oh, god, there's got to be something here.

[Latch clicks]

[Wall creaks]

Lulu: Oh, my god. Look at all this.

Johnny: It's rum and munitions for the French rebels. Oh --

[Wall creaks]

Lulu: No.

Johnny: Stop it, stop it. No, no, no -- damn it.

Jax: So, is it safe for me to unlock the door?

Carly: No -- I don't want you going anywhere. I can't tell you how relieved I feel to have this out in the open -- no more lies, no more sneaking around.

Jax: Well, at least as far as baby making's concerned.

Carly: Ok, am I really that bad? Don't answer the question. I don't want to ruin this nice, nice moment that we're having.

Jax: So -- um -- now that we both want a child, what are we waiting for?

Carly: For you to come over here.

Epiphany: Oh -- oh --

Epiphany: Oh, god! Oh -- oh, it hurts. Oh, it hurts! Oh -- oh! Oh, it hurts!

Russell: I don't know why I have to defend myself when I wasn't the one holding the bomb.

Kelly: She needs special attention.

Monica: And county doesn't have the resources that we have.

Russell: She's going to county, that's final.

Nikolas: You take that woman out of this hospital and I'll withdraw every dime I put into it.

Russell: Admit her.

Monica: Thank you.

Nadine: That was pretty impressive.

Nikolas: Well, obviously I don't condone what Joe did here today, but his wife and his child deserve to get help.

Nadine: Well, I think Emily would be glad if you did something to help yourself -- like checking yourself in and waiting for the new results? And if you don't believe me, maybe you should ask her -- next time you talk to her.

Nikolas: Ok, fine. I'll do it your way.

Patrick: Ok.

Nikolas: I'll go upstairs and admit myself.

Patrick: Thank you.

Monica: And how is he doing?

Nurse: Much better. His sats are up to 98.

Monica: Well, that's great. Yes, it is. Good boy.

Kate: I never thought of it that way. I don't think that I lost Connie in Kate, I just hid her away like an embarrassing relative.

Sonny: Careful, you're talking about my high school sweetheart -- or, I guess in my case it would be -- it would be my no-show sweetheart. Go ahead, pop it in. Come on.

[Kate sighs]

Sonny: Ok.

[Machine chimes]

Kate: Ahem. "You are two different people." No -- ok, your turn. Here you go.

Sonny: Uh --

Kate: Oh, wait, wait -- what did yours say that night?

Sonny: Oh.

Kate: The first one.

Sonny: Yeah, I know. That you -- "you will lose everything for love." And I was ready to, except there was nobody really there to give it -- give it to.

Kate: So, wait, did you just bring me back to Bensonhurst to make me feel bad?

Sonny: Anything but.

Kate: Put the token in. Do it already.

Sonny: No, I don't want to.

Kate: Do it.

Sonny: Because you can't mess with the future, because it -- it's dangerous. What if it says, "you will go bald tomorrow"?

Kate: Uh -- then I'll buy you a hat? Go, do it.

Sonny: Ah.

[Machine chimes]

Kate: What's it say?

>> On the next "General Hospital" --

Leyla: I have to find a different way to handle Patrick.
Robin: I want a no-fuss pregnancy. Did you find something unexpected?
Kelly: You might say that.
Kate: Let me see it. What's your fortune?
