Lucky: I thought we were going to talk.

Sam: I'm not really sure what we have to talk about.

Lucky: I can think of a lot of things.

Sam: Yeah, but I bet none of them are based on what we had or -- or what we could've been together. Wait, let me guess -- I bet you're here to ask me to come to your place and -- and stay there until I'm done walking on three legs, huh?

Lucky: Yeah, that's part of it.

Sam: And not because you can't live without me, but because you feel completely responsible for the situation.

Lucky: That's part of it, too.

Sam: Yeah, well, what happened to the love part of it, Lucky? Yeah, that's pretty much where I thought it was, too.

Lucky: Ok, I feel guilty for what happened to you.

Sam: Ok.

Lucky: I admit it. So what?

Sam: "So what?" So I don't need your pity. What do you want?

Lucky: I don't know.

Sam: Oh, boy, you don't know? Well, that's pretty vague territory for two people to move in together, don't you think? Listen, if you're looking for absolution, I suggest that you go to the confessional at the queen of angels because I can't give it to you, and you want to know why? Because I don't think you need forgiveness. I am the one who -- who did all of those awful things to Elizabeth and Jake, not you, and I hoped that you would never find out. Now you know it all. It's fine, I can live with that.

Lucky: And you're hurt?

Sam: Yes, I am hurt. What do you think? Yes, inside and out.

[Sam sighs]

Sam: I don't know. Who knows, you know? I -- I don't have to be back to work for a little bit, so maybe I'll take a trip and I'll go on a cruise and count the islands in Greece or something.

Lucky: What if you need something?

Sam: Well, you know, I have a new phone, and it does everything but cook dinner, so I think I'll be fine.

Lucky: Ok, fine, what if you -- what if you need something --

Sam: You will be the last person that I call -- until I know that you're going to call back for the right reasons.

Johnny: I only want to be in this if you're in it 100%.

Lulu: It's just hard to explain. I can't ignore what I did.

Johnny: You were protecting yourself.

Lulu: And I was involved with him, Johnny. On and off, but I was involved with a potential serial killer. What does that say about me?

Johnny: It says that you have a trusting heart.

Lulu: Oh --

Johnny: It does, and that he was damn good at reeling you in. All of the psychotic madness aside, there was a certain brilliance to him, or else he wouldn't have gotten away with what he did for so long.

Lulu: Yeah, maybe.

Johnny: "Maybe"? No, eventually you would've done something or said something to make him turn on you, like Georgie or Emily. I couldn't stand by and watch that happen.

Lulu: What do you mean?

Johnny: I was ready to let you make your choice -- me or Logan. Ok, I was a coward. I didn't want to win you over and then see you hurt.

Lulu: You would never hurt me.

Johnny: No, not me, but my life, my life as it used to be. But I don't have to be bound by that anymore, I don't have to be that last hope of the Zacchara empire or Trevor's puppet. Will you go out to dinner with me?

Lulu: What?

Johnny: I want you to go on a date with me. I don't care where we go, it could be boring as hell.

Lulu: What? What are you talking about?

Johnny: I'm talking about being like normal people our age, who want to go out and have a good time. Will you meet me back here in a few hours?

Lulu: Ok, yeah, sure, sure. Ok.

Johnny: Ok, good. I have to go home and prove something to somebody.

Lulu: Who?

Johnny: A mousy little girl with red shoes who thinks that love kills. See you later.

Claudia: So talk to me, Trevors, tell me. There's got to be more to this story than just you knocking up Sonny Corinthos' mother and producing a bastard son.

Trevor: None of your business.

Claudia: You know, every single moment of my private life until the minute I was carted out of here was your business -- Johnny's too, and his father's and his mother's. And look us now -- we're all scattered, we're all damaged. And you're in control and you have all the power? That's just one of the things I intend to change while I'm here.

Trevor: Yeah? All of a sudden you're going to step up and take responsibility? Where's everybody been all these years? Just how long do you think it's going to take you?

Claudia: Until I'm done.

Trevor: Hmm.

Claudia: Let me rephrase that -- until you're finished.

Trevor: Don't be a fool, Claudia. You are never going to take me down.

Claudia: I'm pretty confident.

Trevor: Overconfident.

Claudia: Hmm. It must be a really cozy thanksgiving around here, though, huh? 0Sonny Corinthos, the local kingpin, his estranged brother, the D.A., and the D.A.'s estranged father acting as incumbent head of the Zacchara underworld?

Trevor: No, no, no, no, no, Claudia, I'm not acting anymore, I am the head of the Zacchara underworld. I got all the connections. I got the loyalty and the experience.

Claudia: Hmm -- just not enough to get a foothold in port Charles.

Trevor: It will come -- with the Alcazar property.

Claudia: Uh-huh. Who's overconfident now?

Trevor: Claudia -- oh, darling, you remember telling me that you were carted off once? What makes you think that that can't happen again?

Ric: Well, Marianna knows all about my ugly past with my brother, my father, this town and pretty much everybody in it. But she didn't care. All that mattered to her was who I was when we met.

Elizabeth: "Met"?

Ric: Yeah, I went to Martha's Vineyard. I -- uh -- I wanted to stir up some old ghosts and see if they looked any differently to me. You know, I -- I can't change what I've done, Elizabeth, only where I go from here.

Elizabeth: Which is?

Ric: Hmm. Well, just before I left town, Skye gave me Alcazar's waterfront property. Hmm -- it's kind of like giving the devil a stick of dynamite, isn't it?

Elizabeth: Maybe worse.

Ric: Oh. So, that's the second time that you've not given me the benefit of the doubt today.

Elizabeth: Well, can you blame me?

Ric: No. How's Jason?

Elizabeth: What does that matter?

Ric: Well, you were in love with him, right? Probably still in love with him. I was more than half convinced that Jake was his child.

Elizabeth: Where are you going with this?

Ric: If Jason were to leave Sonny tomorrow and run off with you, have this big, beautiful, peaceful life, would you want everybody else to judge him for what he'd done?

Elizabeth: That's different.

Ric: No, it's not. It's only different in the eyes of the person who believes in him and loves him. Only in the eyes of the person who loves them and hopes that they can change, and hopes that the change can stick. I used to see that look in your eyes -- of love, trust.

Elizabeth: But you killed it.

Ric: For me.

Elizabeth: Is that what Marianna is -- a second chance at salvation for you?

Ric: No. No, that has to come from me.

Elizabeth: It's kind of funny you met her in a coffee shop --

Ric: Hmm.

Elizabeth: Just like you met me.

Ric: Yep.

Elizabeth: I guess you want history to repeat itself.

Ric: No. All I want from Marianna is to be treated with kindness and respect. I'm helping her, Elizabeth, because I can, not because I want anything from her in return.

Elizabeth: That would be a first.

Ric: Yeah, it would.

Sonny: Stay focused on Michael.

Jason: Wait, wait, wait -- what are you going to do?

Sonny: I got to do what I've got to do, that's what I got to do.

Jason: I know that you're upset. You need to be careful before you make things worse, Sonny.

Sonny: Worse -- worse? What do you mean, "worse"? My son's missing. Kate almost died. What do you want me to do?

Jason: Just -- just let me find the proof.

Sonny: Ok, go ahead, find the proof. Find the proof that the Zaccharas did not do this. And with any luck, you'll find the proof before we find body parts. We're going to find legs in the ocean, we're going to find --

Jason: Sonny -- Sonny, let -- let me handle this. You stay with Kate. She needs you.

Sonny: Don't tell me -- don't tell me what Kate needs. I know what she needs, and I know what I need. Go do your job.

Jerry: We need to find a quiet place to have a chat.

Jason: Well, I don't have time right now.

Jerry: Well, make time. It's about Lorenzo Alcazar.

Ric: I thought you were upstairs.

Marianna: I was restless.

Ric: Well, here. I made you some hot milk with a little drop of vanilla in it. You said that you liked that when you were a kid, right?

Marianna: Thank you. You must be a very good lawyer -- you remember everything a person says.

Ric: Well, no information is useless -- especially when you can use it to help somebody feel better.

Marianna: Hmm.

Ric: Not exactly what I'm used to doing.

Marianna: Well, I remember things, too, you know? Elizabeth -- she's the one chance you said you had at love?

Ric: Mm-hmm.

Marianna: And you still love her?

Ric: I will always have a fondness in my heart for Elizabeth. That's all.

Marianna: She doesn't trust you.

Ric: Yeah. Well, I've given her a lot of reasons not to. You know when you love somebody that much and they betray you, it's almost impossible to go back. Yeah, I can see that look in your eye -- that's a completely foreign concept to you.

Marianna: Oh, no, I've -- I've done my share of betrayals to survive.

Ric: Yeah, you know what? We all have. Just the ones that we do to the people that only want to love us -- those become the big black marks against us.

Marianna: I -- I got to get dressed. I'm not used to, like, being in my robe all day.

Ric: Oh, well, you know, those close -- they had blood on them, so I -- I took the sizes off the labels and I sent out for some new things.

Marianna: You can't keep doing this.

Ric: No, no, no. Until you can come up with a legitimate, logical reason not to, that's exactly what I'm going to do. See? I knew you couldn't. I can't, either, so I'm going to go take a shower. Your things will be here. I hope you like the color.

Marianna: Anything will be fine.

Ric: No, just anything wouldn't be good enough for you.

Jax: Been to every train station, bus station -- even went to the docks and the airport -- no sign of him.

Carly: Oh, great.

Jax: You know, he could hiding from me.

Carly: You really think he ran away?

Jax: I don't know. Just -- it doesn't make any sense that one of Sonny's enemies snatched him up and not Morgan, ok, and that nobody has contacted Sonny or Jason by now.

Carly: He was really angry at for being in his room. What was he hiding, Jax? What did he take with him?

Jax: Ok, you're working yourself up.

Carly: No, I'm not! I am just trying to find a clue so we can figure out where he is, ok? I mean, I -- I can remember him walking out the door and he would barely look at me. He just waved, and I didn't get a chance to tell him I loved him. Every child should know that their parents love them no matter what they do!

Jax: Michael knows that you love him.

Carly: Really?

Jax: Yes, of course he does.

Carly: Then why would he worry us like this? If he were ok, why wouldn't he call?

Jax: You know, Carly, you have the best instincts in the world. What are they -- what are they telling you? Hmm?

Carly: They're telling me that he is cold and he is scared and he wants to come home.

Man: Drop anchor.

Second Man: I hate these small, crappy towns -- always only one bar open.

First Man: Yeah -- and both women inside run the other way when you walk in.

Second Man: Funny. Come on, give me a hand.

Jerry: I got word from some of my overseas contacts. It appears that when Carly and I went to the great lengths that we did in Caracas to relieve you of the murder charges against Lorenzo Alcazar by proving that he was still alive, we did a better job than we thought.

Jason: What are you talking about?

Jerry: Well, it appears that Lorenzo Alcazar has been making withdrawals from several bank accounts in Venezuela for the past few months.

[ Alarm clock beeping ]

[Knock on door]

Marianna: Oh -- oh.

Trevor: You work fast, don't you? But apparently you have forgotten just exactly who you're working for.

Ric: Is there a problem here?

Jax: You haven't touched any of the food I brought you.

Carly: Do you think that you can sneak health food to me just because I'm upset?

Jax: No, just because you're pregnant. You have to eat.

[Phone rings]

Carly: Hello? Hello?

Alexis: Hey. He it's me. Sonny had to leave.

Kate: Olivia -- I'm so glad you're ok.

[Footsteps]

Johnny: Claudia, is that you?

Sonny: No, it's me -- and this is for Kate.

Patrick: I'm sorry, there's nothing else we can do -- your son has slipped into a coma.

Sam: Get off --

[Sam coughs]

Sam: Get off me!

[Man yells]

Sam: Who are you?

>> On the next "general hospital" --

Sonny: The next one's for Michael, and this time I won't miss.
Carly: Michael, honey, is that you?
Man: Hey, you --
Sam: You're dead.
Diego: And here I am. For you, it's the beginning of the end. You're going to die, Sam!
