Tracy: Look familiar?

Monica: No. No. Where did you pick it up -- some thrift shop?

Tracy: Actually, I got it out of the trash where you threw it after a certain unfortunate event.

Monica: Well, it's not mine.

Tracy: Really? Your size, your color. Your favorite perfume and -- oh, I believe it's a little bit of your favorite vodka which must've spilled out of your favorite flask when you were driving drunk and running into municipal park benches and Sam McCall.

Monica: That never happened.

Tracy: Really? Tell it to the judge -- better yet, tell it to the hospital board at your new hearing.

Monica: Give it to me.

Tracy: No! No, no, no, no, no, that is evidence in a crime, proof of your wanton disregard for human life.

Monica: Oh, excuse me, I happen to have saved your worthless husband's life.

Tracy: Excuse me -- you practically killed him.

Monica: And I have a group of expert cardiologists that will say that if I hadn't operated, he would have died.

Tracy: I have half the hospital that will -- excuse me, excuse me -- that will say that you were drunk when you picked up that scalpel.

Monica: You vindictive witch!

Tracy: Oh, you haven't seen anything yet.

Monica: You are never, ever, ever coming back to that house.

Tracy: That is my family home, Monica.

Monica: What? Your idea of family is nothing but backstabbing and bitching!

Tracy: You know what? That's the pot calling the kettle black.

Monica: Tracy -- Tracy! Excuse me.

Patrick: As Nurse Webber can attest, I have a bit of an ego when it comes to my reputation.

Elizabeth: Just a bit.

Patrick: I rarely give my patients up to other surgeons, but I have confidence in dr. Brown. This is your best possible outcome.

Elizabeth: That's great news.

Jason: How soon?

Patrick: I'll call him right now, tell him you're ready when he is. Ok.

Elizabeth: Well, that's good news. About yesterday with Sonny, I realize I came on a little strong --

Jason: No, Sonny, he -- he can take it.

Elizabeth: I know, but it's your life.

Jason: No, we don't have to talk about that. I mean, you're my life right now and Jake.

[Pager beeps]

Elizabeth: I have to take this.

Jason: No, but there's so much that I -- I want to say --

Elizabeth: Just wait. This won't take long. I'll be right back.

Claudia: Are you crazy? I could dump your body on the courthouse steps and no one would care, not even your own son.

Trevor: Never happen.

Claudia: You would be really wise to take me seriously.

Trevor: Claudia, I do take you seriously. And you would be wise to take me seriously. This family will die without my influence.

Claudia: Where's your influence in getting us that waterfront property that your son happens to own, Trevor? Why haven't you made an ally of this Moreau character?

Trevor: Come on, Claudia, give me a break, huh? Everything is happening --

Claudia: No, no, it's not! I'm sorry! You're a joke, Trevor -- a joke. And Sonny Corinthos makes you look more and more like one every single day.

Trevor: Come on. I'll make you a deal. You don't talk about my relationship with Sonny and I won't talk about yours.

Claudia: Sonny was just a boy when he took Ric's mother, Adela, away from you, huh? And then he turned around and did the same thing with Kate Howard.

Trevor: Hmm.

Claudia: Talk about your winning streak.

Trevor: A -- for all the homework that you've done on me. F -- you haven't found anything that you can use on me yet. Are you frustrated?

Claudia: Not at all. I'm a resourceful woman.

Trevor: With many secrets -- which I know.

Claudia: You'd be wise to take them to your grave, Trevors. You'd stay alive a lot longer!

Carly: Jax and I want to go to the police.

Sonny: No, no, don't.

Carly: We don't have anything.

Sonny: I got a lead, I got a lead.

Carly: What kind of a lead?

Sonny: It's all I got right now. I'm just checking it out.

Carly: Well, when did you get this lead?

Sonny: A few hours ago.

Carly: Well, what is it? Does someone have him? Is he on a bus, on a train? Where is he?

Sonny: No, no, no -- you just go home, let me deal with this.

Carly: I'm not going home!

Sonny: You are pregnant. You're going to get stressed out, you don't need that right now.

Carly: Don't -- don't you dare patronize me, ok? You talk about stress -- Michael is my child, he's been missing for days. Don't shut me out here.

Sonny: Whatever I tell you, your -- your mind's going to go in every other direction, so what am I supposed to do?

Carly: Don't you think it already has? Don't you think I've already thought of every possible scenario? My mind can't go anywhere else! What's going on -- is he hurt? Does someone have him?

Sonny: No, no, nothing like that.

Carly: What is it?

Sonny: Michael's going to be ok. Listen. I'll fix it, I'll fix everything.

Ric: You know, I've always had so much anger towards Sonny and then even when I did try to make amends, there was always that resentment that was right beneath the surface.

Alexis: So you're honestly telling me that it's not anymore?

Ric: Well, I'm a work in progress.

Alexis: So what brought this on?

Ric: I have a daughter. I want her to be proud of her father. I want her to be able to love her sister and her uncle, and figured that starts with me standing on my own two feet, realizing that I'm in charge of my own life -- no blame, no excuses.

Alexis: Hmm. Where would life be without excuses?

Ric: Hmm. Well, I'm not really sure but I'm -- I'm finding out.

Alexis: If you ever need a crutch and you want to go out for ice cream or something with the girls, so we can remind each other what's really important in life, you can call me.

Ric: I may take you up on that sometime. But for right now, I seem to be doing pretty well.

Jax: Sonny didn't tell you anything?

Carly: No. He told me that everything was going to be ok and not to worry.

Jax: He always has to be the hero.

Carly: Something's up. Something's up because Sonny was so anxious and angry about Michael being missing, and now he's calm. He's just calm.

Jax: Well, maybe this -- this lead reassured him.

Carly: I just want him home.

Jax: Hey, hey. We both do.

Carly: I just want him home.

Jax: I know. I'm going to go meet with my investigators again, ok?

Carly: Yes, yeah.

Jax: You'll be fine here?

Carly: I'm ok.

Jax: Call me if you need anything.

Carly: I will.

Jax: Ok. I love you.

Carly: I love you, too.

Kate: Any news on Michael?

Sonny: We got a lead. Um -- it looks like he ran away.

Kate: He did? Run away? Do you know why?

Sonny: Well, something I did or -- or said, I don't know. It's the way they -- it's just very complicated, yeah.

Kate: Is he ok, Sonny?

Sonny: I think so.

Kate: Well, that's -- that's wonderful news. You must be relieved.

Sonny: You know what I'm worried about? What I'm going to say to him when I -- when I see him.

Kate: You're going to tell him you love him.

Sonny: Well, I -- I hope that's my first instinct. But, you know, it looks like he deliberately disobeyed me.

[Sonny sighs]

Sonny: And, you know, I mean -- I don't know. I -- it's tough but I -- there's nothing I can do about it right now.

Kate: Sonny, you're going to work things out with Michael.

Sonny: Yeah, I know.

Kate: It's going to be fine.

Sonny: I know, I know, I know. What about us?

Kate: What do you mean?

Sonny: "What do I -- what do I mean?" What can I do to make up for what's happened?

Kate: I don't know. I'm just hoping my condition isn't permanent.

Sonny: Well, the doctors -- you know, you're taking the --

Kate: I'm not talking about my heart -- well, my physical heart. It was very nice of Max to let me in last night.

Sonny: Well, he likes you a lot.

Kate: No, he likes that you're happy with me. He doesn't want you to get back with Carly -- he's too smitten with her to see straight.

Sonny: Max isn't very good at covering it.

Kate: Well, what man is? Like you and Carly?

Sonny: Why do you keep bringing that up? You know I'm not in love with her anymore.

Kate: I know, but Carly has this quality you seem to like in a woman -- a casual confidence, a brash carelessness that catches your eye.

Sonny: Only when I'm in the mood.

Kate: Sometimes.

Sonny: Ok, we're both talking around something here. And -- we just need to go ahead and say it.

Monica: That is my property!

Tracy: You threw in the trash -- one has to wonder why.

Monica: It is none of your business.

Tracy: Monica -- Monica! Monica, you left the hospital wearing that shirt and then, all of a sudden, you come back wearing scrubs saying your car had been stolen! And then they find the car smashed into a park bench right near the site of a hit-and-run.

Monica: Absolutely no connection.

Tracy: Then why are you working so hard to get that shirt back?

Monica: Because you are railroading me!

Tracy: Oh, Dr. Ford. You let me back in the house, Monica, and I will give you the blouse.

Monica: Give me the blouse and I will think about it.

Tracy: No deal. Oh! Oh, well, keep that part as a souvenir of your career. I'll see you in the boardroom.

Monica: Oh.

[Marianna chuckles]

Ric: Well, how much longer until you get home?

Marianna: My shift is almost over.

Ric: Good. Then I'll come pick you up.

Marianna: No, that's ok. I am going to take the bus -- and don't try and talk me out of it. I checked the schedule and I'm all set.

Ric: You're just not going to give me a chance to be gallant, are you?

Marianna: Baby, you've been gallant since the moment I met you.

Ric: Well, I'm glad you noticed. And I'm going to get to show you my domestic capabilities, as well. I'm going to have dinner waiting for you by the time you get home.

Marianna: Huh. That sounds wonderful -- I'm starved.

[Door closes]

Marianna: I got to go. Um -- I'll -- I'll see you later. Bye.

Trevor: Who are you smiling at? My naive son?

Marianna: You know, your son's a good man.

Trevor: Most people in this town would disagree with you.

Marianna: People can change.

Trevor: Oh, so can -- except you and my son just get more skilled at hiding who you really are. For instance, you have always been an opportunistic little tramp.

Mike: Excuse me.

Trevor: Yeah?

Mike: Is there a problem here?

Trevor: Well, there could be. Have you taken a look at her papers? She's not allowed to work here, let alone live in the united states.

Marianna: I have my papers.

Trevor: Oh, I think you ought to look at them again.

Mike: Do you know this guy?

Marianna: Yes. He's Ric's father.

Mike: Trevor Lansing.

Trevor: Mm-hmm. And who are you?

Mike: Mike Corbin.

Trevor: Ah -- Sonny's father. Aren't you the drunken gambler who left Adela and his kid alone? Looks like life has really treated you pretty well.

Mike: You know, I heard you were around. I -- I was going to look you up.

Trevor: I don't think that you and I have anything to say to one another.

Mike: Well, I'll keep it really simple -- we serve a higher class of customer here.

Trevor: Hmm.

Mike: So why don't you try the roach coach down the street -- now?

Maxie: What's going on, Spinelli? You're taking forever.

Spinelli: I'm reluctant to leave the shadows.

Maxie: Clothes don't fit?

Spinelli: Oh, if the helpful blond one is referring to measurements, the fit is correct but --

[Spinelli sighs]

Spinelli: In terms of The Jackal's personality, I think the match is awkward at best. And I can tell by your face that you agree.

Maxie: Hmm -- no. No, I actually think that you look kind of cool.

Spinelli: Really? Cool -- huh. Uh, well, The Jackal basks in the blond one's praise.

Maxie: Yeah, but you still didn't tell me how you lost your other clothes.

Spinelli: Ah. Those grisly details are no longer important.

Maxie: I'm just going to hound you until you tell me, and I know you know how annoying I can be, so you might as well.

Spinelli: Look, I was trying to sneak aboard the same vessel that the little dude stowed away upon, but the big sue 2 had already left, so I stowed upon big sue 3, whose operators took great exception to my being there and decided to teach me a lesson by relieving me of my wardrobe.

Maxie: Oh. Well, how'd you get away?

Spinelli: Well, luckily for The Jackal and his trusty laptop, the deck of the ship was well lubricated by fishly innards.

Maxie: And?

Spinelli: Well, I -- naturally, I skated to safety and did a somewhat gymnastic maneuver to disembark from the ship and landed just before the ship took off from the dock.

Maxie: Oh, wow.

Spinelli: Yeah.

Maxie: I wish I could've been there to see that -- I mean, I don't wish I could've seen that. But -- so you didn't find Michael?

Spinelli: Uh, no, that's a negative, but floating through cyberspace, I did find remnants of the text message killer's laptop that was being unsuccessfully dissect--

Maxie: Translation, please?

Spinelli: It appears that evil Al's dark progeny was planning on detonating the explosive devices by remote computer command.

Maxie: Oh, my god -- where?

Spinelli: That's what The Jackal is endeavoring to find out.

Maxie: I don't know if we should be messing around with this.

Spinelli: You doubt The Jackal's prowess, after so many exhibition of my cyber skills?

Maxie: Well, it did shake faith a teeny bit when you got us stuck in that sewer together.

Spinelli: Huh. Ok, look, just -- can you just imagine the -- the dark mayhem that the text message killer was -- was planning by -- by exploding all these --

Maxie: I'm just saying Diego is crazy, and what if he was trying to plan on blowing up the whole city? What if you press the wrong key or something?

[Computer beeps]

Maxie: Oh.

Spinelli: Prophetic words.

[Beeping]

Maxie: Why is that beeping?

Elizabeth: Sorry that took so long.

[Elizabeth sighs]

Marianna: Just go. Stop making so much trouble.

Trevor: Trouble? You don't know what kind of trouble is going to hit you.

Marianna: You know, I got to finish up.

Trevor: What you need to do is finish your deal with me -- to steal that deed from Ric.

Marianna: The deal is off.

Trevor: Off?

Marianna: Yeah.

Trevor: Mm-hmm. You sleep with my son a couple of weeks and you get starry-eyed? "Off"? Wake up -- before I tell him why you really did get cozy on Martha's Vineyard.

Marianna: I don't care what you do to me, Trevor.

Trevor: Maybe not. But you will care what I do to Ric.

Marianna: What do you mean?

Randy: Looks like you got yourself in a corner.

Marianna: Oh, leave me alone.

Randy: Hey, take it easy.

Marianna: Leave me alone.

Randy: Maybe I can help you out -- if the price is right.

[Knock on door]

Ric: Ahem.

Claudia: Richard Lansing.

Ric: Yeah, that's right.

Claudia: I think it's about time you and I got acquainted.

Kate: I didn't know how to bring it up. I guess I was hoping that you would tell me on your own accord.

Sonny: Tell you what?

Kate: You slept with someone after our fight, didn't you?

[Phone rings]

Carly: Hello?

Michael: Hi, mom.

Carly: Michael? Where are you?

Michael: I'm in Port Charles.

>> On the next "General Hospital" -

Claudia: This might be your lucky night.
Sonny: Claudia Zacchara is nothing. It was one night, Kate.
Carly: Where are you?
[Bomb beeps]
Carly: Michael? Oh, baby.
