Tuesday, May 27, 2008....part two

Milo: Ms. Miller, I don't know if you're --
Max: I'm telling you, Milo, stay out of this.
Diane: Max, max, it's fine. Your brother's obviously very concerned about your welfare. Look, Milo, no, I am not just flirting with Max. I happen to hold him in very high regard.
Milo: Then do right by him.
Max: Do you want your head in a hammerlock?
Milo: No, I don't.
Diane: Gentlemen, please, no fisticuffs on my account.
Milo: You were -- you're the best lawyer the boss has ever had, and if, you know, you mess up because of Max, Sonny's going to fire him.
Diane: My association with Max has nothing to do with my professional competence.
Max: You can shut up now, Milo.
Milo: What about Max? He gets so distracted by you that he makes the mistake.
Max: I'm not making any mistakes.
Diane: Right, look, Milo, I appreciate your concern, but Max is perfectly capable of making his own choices.
Milo: Uh -- ok, ms. Miller. I'm just saying that Max has got --
Max: No, you're not saying zip, ok? Just sit down, and shut up, for once, please. Sorry.
Diane: Why don't you tend to whatever hypothetical business Bernie has you doing, and then you come meet me at my house?
Max: I'll be there.
Diane: And I'll be waiting, breathlessly.
Max: Bye.
Milo: It would've been so much better --
Max: You idiot!

Johnny: My father sent you down here to pull me away from Lulu? Did he demote you from attorney to chaperone?
Trevor: John, I warned you, he's going to exploit all of your weaknesses and use them against you.
Johnny: Lulu's not a weakness.
Trevor: No, she is an infatuation, and he's going to use her. Now that you're out in the open, you're playing right into his hands.
Johnny: I can handle my father.
Trevor: Lulu, the best thing that you could do is disappear. Should you want to do that ever, call me. I can help you.
Lulu: Or I could tell anthony that you're going behind his back.
Trevor: John, I'm doing everything i can to protect you. You got to trust someone.
Johnny: I know exactly who to trust, Trevor.
Trevor: All right, you want to report me? You want to report me to Anthony, go ahead. I think that i've got a little bit more credibility than you do, Miss Lulu Spencer. Johnny, come on. Your father's waiting for you.
Johnny: Call me.
Lulu: Yeah.

Jason: Are you prepared to leave Michael?
Carly: I think about Michael every second of every day. Nothing else I can do for him. I can just go visit, Jason.
Jason: If you are going to go into hiding, you know Sonny's going to have men watching Michael.
Carly: I knew you'd do this. You'd try everything you could just to talk me out of it.
Jason: No, i'm just trying to make you think it through. If you go into hiding, you are going to have to leave Michael behind.
Carly: Michael would want me to do what's best for his brother.
Jason: I don't think running is what's best for Morgan.

Logan: I sawJohnny and Trevor crossing the lawn. I just came to investigate.
Lulu: Yeah, you found me.
Logan: Is Johnny here with you?
Lulu: Yeah.
Logan: So no more flirting, huh? You and Johnny are sleeping together.
______________________________________________________________________________________________
Anthony: That was quick. How'd you find them so easily?
Trevor: Your son is meeting Lulu in the garden shed.
Anthony: You got a whole house at your disposal. Why smuggle your girlfriend in with the potted plants and fertilizers?
Johnny: I like my privacy.
Anthony: I don't like your attitude. Show some respect.
Johnny: I do.
Anthony: You don't know the meaning of the word, and neither does your girlfriend. Lulu showed up here this morning making a lot of wild accusations about me framing her father.
Johnny: Did you?
Anthony: That's that attitude again. It concerns me. I'm starting to think Miss Lulu could be a bad influence.
Johnny: If Lulu's causing problems for you, then maybe I should stop seeing her.

Maxie: Are you dizzy?
Spinelli: Jackal's balance is a tad off kilter.
Maxie: I probably should have paid a little more attention in the training course for the hospital volunteers.
Spinelli: Maximista should be commended for her -- for her acts of mercy.
Maxie: Oh, please -- oh! Georgie's really the one who made me do it. It was mostly to prove to Mac that i was semi-responsible. Come on. Here, you should lie down.
Spinelli: The Jackal assumed that you'd be returning me to casa de stone cold.
Maxie: Yeah, and if i stayed the night at Jason's house, my dad would have a stroke, so you're just going to have to stay here.
Spinelli: Here?
Maxie: Yeah, don't worry. I'll take care of you.
Spinelli: That would be exceedingly pleasant.
Maxie: Ok, well, is there anything you would like? Some water, a soda? I might even have some potato chips.
Spinelli: The jackal is most contented at the moment.
Maxie: Ok.
Spinelli: Thank you.
Maxie: Spinelli, look into my eyes. Ok, your pupils are evenly dilated, which probably means you don't have a concussion so far.
Spinelli: Excellent news.
Maxie: Man, Sonny, what a bully.
Spinelli: Young Michael is a sensitive subject for Mr. Sir.
Maxie: Yeah, it's just, Sonny's such an angry guy, and he has a colossal ego, and you put those two together -- boom, loose cannon. You probably should have factored that in before you tried to talk to him, but it's ok. I will help you work on your people skills.
Spinelli: Maximista's assistance is always much appreciated.
Maxie: Why do you look so tense?
Spinelli: Perhaps a touch of posttraumatic stress?
Maxie: Here, you should try to relax. Scoot forward. You know, i was really amazed at your bravery. You were so worried about Jason and Sonny and Carly and what you could do to help, which was really sweet, and then in walks Sonny, baddest of the bad, and you just stood right up to him and told him exactly what you thought. That was so courageous.
Spinelli: Yeah, well, I had no idea he would then smash me into oblivion.
Maxie: Well, I know you're scared of Sonny on a good day, but you went with your convictions and did what you thought was right. You're a real hero, Spinelli.
Spinelli: Maximista is far -- far too kind.
Maxie: You deserve to be pampered, and that's exactly what i'm going to do. I am yours for the rest of the night.
________________________________________________________________________________________________
Sonny: Thanks. Carly's still pushing me to give up Morgan.
Kate: I'm sorry.
Sonny: She doesn't want Morgan hurt. I respect that, but iIm -- you know, i'm doing everything I can possibly do try to keep my kids safe.
Kate: Giving up custody is not the solution.
Sonny: It is not the solution, but to them it is. Jason and Carly, I mean, they're going to keep -- they're not going to back off untilI -- I settle.
Kate: They're being completely unfair.
Sonny: What I -- you know what I don't get? Like, how two people, my best friend and the mother of my children, could have no faith in me at all.
________________________________________________________________________________________________
Carly: Sonny can't stop me from seeing Michael. You know, I'll find a way.
Jason: Ok, so -- so just let me get this straight. You're going to move to some place new, a new town, you're going to leave Morgan there, you're going to risk coming out of hiding to go visit Michael.
Carly: Why are you being so literal? I'll get to where i'm going, and I'll make a plan.
Jason: You -- do you think that's the best thing for Morgan? I mean, he already lost his brother. You want him to lose his home, his school, the people he knows?
Carly: Morgan is resilient. You know, he's had to be.
Jason: A kid can only take so much, carly.
Carly: Well, you know what? I'd rather Morgan lose his home and his school than lose his life or wind up like Michael.
Jason: Ok, look, I know that you regret the choices you made -- that we made for Michael. What are you going to do, the exact opposite for Morgan?
Carly: I'm just trying to protect my son here, Jason.
Jason: This is one time you really need to think about what you're doing.
Carly: There's no compromise here. I have to keep Morgan away from Sonny.
Jason: Ok, so if i can convince Sonny... To give up Morgan, are you going to stay?
________________________________________________________________________________________________
Lulu: I'm sorry if -- if you're hurt, but I have been honest with you about my feelings for Johnny.
Logan: This isn't high school, Lulu. I'm not mad at you because you dumped me for the homecoming king. You're messing with some really crazy people.
Lulu: I know who i'm dealing with.
Logan: No, no, Lulu, I don't think you do. If you did, you'd be running as fast as you could.
Lulu: If you're trying to scare me, really not the right time.
Logan: I push Anthony's chair, and I'm telling you right now, that man's a killer. He's mean, and he's twisted.
Lulu: But that's not who Johnny is.
Logan: That's exactly who Johnny is! He's in the game, and he's doing it, and i'm telling you right now, sooner or later, someone is going to die, and I do not want that to be you.
Lulu: I'll be all right.
Logan: No, you won't. What the hell is so great about Johnny that is worth your life to be with him?
________________________________________________________________________________________________
Anthony: I need a minute alone with my son.
Trevor: Sure, as you wish.
Anthony: What am I going to do with Trevor? He plays both ends against the middle. It's like i have to watch him like a hawk.
Johnny: You wouldn't want it any other way.
Anthony: Smart boy, smart enough to know that Trevor might be playing you.
Johnny: Playing me how?
Anthony: Lulu's your obvious weakness, so he's probably advised you to dump her, right?
Johnny: I can't stand the guy. Why would I listen to anything he says?
Anthony: Whether you decided to dump her because Trevor advised you to, or you came upon that thought on your own, it's still a bluff, and I'm calling.
Johnny: Everything's a game to you, isn't it?
Anthony: Johnny, what's this? That's you, a fish on a hook, trying to wriggle away.
Johnny: I'm not doing this. Forget it.
Anthony: You're my son, John. I know my weaknesses, so I know yours. You love that girl. Doesn't matter whether you're with her or not. You'd do anything to save her.
Johnny: You leave Lulu alone.
Anthony: I will, as long as you're a good, faithful son. But if i ever suspect that you've turned on me, little Miss Lulu is going to pay the price.

Maxie: Does that hurt?
Spinelli: Perhaps a twinge of discomfort.
Maxie: Spinelli, you're in pain. I'm sorry, but your pupils look normal, and you don't have a fever, and you're not throwing up, so if you're ok for the next 24 hours, you probably don't have a concussion.
Spinelli: The jackal is grateful for Maximista's tender ministrations.
Maxie: Please, it's the least I could do after you were so brave.
Spinelli: The Jackal was, alas, a total wimp, completely overpowered by Mr. Sir.
Maxie: Spinelli, you stepped up and did the right thing. I totally admire that. If it were me, I probably would have covered my butt and then let everyone else twist in the wind, but you always are quick to rush to people's defense,
like a knight in shining armor.
Spinelli: Maximista underestimates her true nobility. When -- when your passions are aroused, you leap into the fray
with courage and conviction.
Maxie: : Yeah, when it benefits numero uno.
Spinelli: Not so. Maximista has done much to assist the Jackal over these past pleasurable months. Maximista is the ne plus ultra, the summit, the nirvana of feminine charm --
Maxie: You're babbling again. You need to relax, and I'm going to go change. I'll be right back.
Spinelli: Is -- is Maximista intending on sleeping with the Jackal, as it were?
Maxie: Yeah, of course. Remember, the first 24 hours are the danger zone for a concussion. I have to stay with you the whole night.
Spinelli: Well, if you must. Who is the jackal to argue?
Maxie: Good, rest. I'm going to change.
_______________________________________________________________________________________________
Kate: What happened to Mchael is devastating.
Sonny: Mm-hmm.
Kate: You and Jason and Carly are all looking for answers, and there aren't any, Sonny. Carly is having a knee-jerk
reaction. She's trying to protect Morgan by taking him away from you. Jason is having a knee-jerk reaction by supporting carly.
Sonny: But that's a wrong -- that's a wrong decision, right?
Kate: I can empathize, Sonny. I had a knee-jerk reaction. I paid Ian Devlin a million dollars to disappear. It wasn't a very wise choice, and i wasn't thinking very clearly.
Sonny: Can we not talk about what anybody should or shouldn't have done? I got angry at you, right? And you know, and I'm sorry about that.
Kate: It's all right.
Sonny: No, listen. I don't agree with what you did, but i do know that you were trying to protect me.
Kate: However misguided. I was acting out of love, Sonny, and i think that's what Jason and Carly are doing right now.
Sonny: Ok, so how do I stop them? What do I do?
Kate: Maybe nothing. Maybe you just give everyone some time to grieve.
Sonny: So you just want me to give up Morgan, is that what you're saying?
Kate: No, Sonny?
Sonny: Why not?
Kate: I'm saying maybe if you just let Carly have some time, maybe she'll change her mind. Maybe if you don't fight her, maybe she won't fight you.
Sonny: Do you know Carly?
Kate: Yeah.
Sonny: Ok, so then what?
Kate: Well, what we do know is that what's best for your children is that their mother and father are on good terms, so... Maybe you have to wait. Maybe you have to have faith.
Sonny: You know, it's like you're so levelheaded and kind, and sometimes I wonder why you're like that when I've --
I've been so unfair to you.
Kate: You are not perfect, Sonny, and neither am I.
Kate: But I still love you.
Sonny: Yeah, I love you.
________________________________________________________________________________________________
Jason: Ok, you know what, I don't want you to think about Sonny right now. Don't even -- don't even -- just forget him.
I want you to think about what's best for Morgan right now.
Carly: Well, of course staying here would be best for Morgan. I would get to visit Michael whenever I wanted. Morgan would be at home, surrounded by everyone he loved. I'd be able to fix things with Jax.
Jason: Ok, then that's your answer.
Carly: And it's impossible, and you know it. Sonny's never going to sign the papers, Jason. All he cares about is holding on to what's his. Who gives a damn if he's risking his son's life in the process?
Jason: Maybe I can get him to sign the papers.
Carly: This isn't your problem to fix. It's mine.
Jason: Do you trust me?
Carly: I always trust you.
Jason: Then don't run. Just give me some time to work this out.
Carly: Ok.
Jason: Ok I'll call you.

Patrick: You know, it's a little bit scary that i'm having sympathetic pregnancy cravings with you.
Robin: Well, good, then I won't feel so strange when I request pickles and mayo at three in the morning.
Patrick: No, see, that's still a little strange.
Robin: Mmm. Well, Kelly said to listen to my body and respect all of my cravings.
Patrick: Well, if it's chocolate chip, then the baby's taking after me. It was my favorite growing up.
Robin: Really?
Patrick: Mm-hmm. What do you think, kid? You got some Drake genes kicking in there?
Robin: Oh, my god.
Patrick: What?
Robin: Say something else.
Patrick: What?
Robin: I don't care. Just keep talking.
Patrick: Um --
Robin: Say something.
Patrick: Ok, um, hey, guess what? It's never too early to learn the rules of Nascar. Points are given per race in two categories. One is your -- your -- where you finish, and the other one is your laps --
Robin: The baby's kicking. The baby's responding to your voice.
Patrick: But I don't feel anything. I don't -- oh, my God.
