Croupier: There's no money laundering going on since Luke left.

Ric: I understand that. Just make sure you keep account of every penny that's coming in and going out. No special favors, no breaking the rules and whatsoever.

Croupier: Yes, sir. Mr. Jacks. Nice to see you again, sir.

Jax: Good evening. I think the ladies are interested in roulette.

Croupier: The casino doesn't open for another half hour.

Spinelli, Australian accent: You can't possibly ask us to disappoint our beautiful guests.

Diane: I wasn't expecting you so soon.

Jason: We haven appointment.

Diane: Yes, well, I'm used to a client that keeps me waiting. So, I will adjust. All right. We have -- we have several legal matters -

Jason: Are you all crying?

Max: Hey, boss. How's it going?

Sonny: First of all, I'm not your boss. You work for Jason now. Have you forgot already?

Max: Oh, well, that's great. Now that we're no longer employer/employee, we can be friends, pals.

Sonny: What do you mean friends, pals?

Max: I see this as an opportunity for us to be able to hang out together. You know, do things like fish.

Sonny: Fish?

Max: That's right. You and me fishing this weekend. Huh? How's that sound?

Carly: Hey. Hi, baby. What are you guys up to?

Mercedes: Morgan has something to show you.

Carly: Oh, you do? Did you make this? Oh, my goodness. It's your handprint. I love it. Thank you.

Morgan: It's for daddy. It's his Father's Day gift.

Elizabeth
: Hey, how you feeling?

Robin: A little nervous.

Epiphany: Room 415 is all set up and the ultrasound equipment is ready for you.

Patrick: Thank you, Epiphany.

Kelly: Patrick, you can wait out here.

Patrick: Why?

Robin: I'll be fine. Kelly: We'll let you know as soon as we're done. I bet Elizabeth will wait out here with you.

Elizabeth: Yeah, of course.

Epiphany: You're a good doctor, and you know it's too soon to panic.

Patrick: I should go check on my patients.

Elizabeth: You should probably wait here with me.

Patrick: Robin is trying to be so strong. I can tell she's terrified. I don't know what she would do if she lost this baby.

Elizabeth: And what about you?

Patrick: It's probably not the best time to try and figure out what this baby means to me, is it?

Diane
: Do you have any idea what this Sunday is?

Jason: It's the fifteenth.

Diane: It's also Father's Day. And I miss my dad. He -- he died of cancer shortly after I graduated from law school.

Jason: I'm sorry.

Diane: Now, you've got to understand, I'm not one who generally goes in for marking one day of the year just for a maudlin show of emotion. And I happen to think that these so-called holidays are Madison Avenue's way of getting us to buy more greeting cards and tacky ties. But you do what you can, because men and fathers in particular, are blockheads when it comes to showing emotion. They don't know how to tell you what makes them happy. And at the end of the day, how do you tell someone like that that you love them? Well, I tried. Believe me. But then my father would get very uncomfortable, and so I'd back off so as not to make him more uncomfortable, and then the two of us would just sit there saying nothing when we were actually feeling so much. I mean, how do you tell somebody like that that they are your hero? How do you tell somebody that their faith in you is what made you who you are today? I'm sorry.

Jason: There's nothing to be sorry for.

Diane: I miss my dad all the time, but it's Father's Day that brings these emotions into stark relief, and that's when I look at people who are fathers or who have fathers and I wonder if they appreciate their gift. I won't bill you for any of this. Not for the last ten minutes, but everything from now on is -- is fair game.

Jason: That's fine.

Max: You know where Grottsville is, boss? Mr. C.

Sonny: You know, can I ask you a question, Max? Do you call all your pals "mister?"

Max: We drove through there once on the way to Montreal for that meeting. Remember, I told you my buddy Hal has a fishing cabin up there?

Sonny: You mean "mister" Hal? I don't like cabins.

Max: This place has it all. I'm talking cable TV, Jacuzzi underneath the stars.

Sonny: Sounds romantic.

Max: Yeah, it's a little weird. We don't have to sit in the Jacuzzi. But look, all I'm saying is, great fishing at this lake and it's peaceful. It's calm. Diane says it
helps her unwind. We all know how tense she can get, right?

Sonny: Take Diane.

Max
: Diane doesn't fish.

Sonny: I don't fish, either.

Max: Boss, you -- Mr. -- Boss -- you fish all the time.

Sonny: You think I don't know what you're up to, Max? Honestly?

Max: You could use a break. If you don't want to go to Grottsville, then go to the island. It'll do you good. Sonny: You want me to get away on Father's Day. That's what this is all about. Because you want me to get away so I don't have to think about Michael and Morgan. But you've got to understand, I've still got Kristina, right? I'm her father even though Alexis wishes I wasn't.

Max: Do you think Ms. Davis is actually going to allow Kristina to come visit this weekend?

Sonny: No, she's going to, you know; give me -- what she always does. She calls me at the last minute and says, I'm sorry, something came up.

Max: That sucks. I'm sorry, boss.

Sonny: No, no. Hey, you know what? I appreciate what you're trying to do. It's very nice of you. But it's not going to help, because, you know -- no matter where I am on Father's Day, I am not going to be able to forget that I cannot be with my sons.

Carly: Um -- your daddy loves you very much. Your daddy loves you to infinity and beyond. And I know you love him very much, too. It's just that your father's job can be dangerous. Michael was hurt when he went to work with your father. The last thing we want is for that to happen to you. Keeping you safe is one of the ways that we can show you how much you're loved. So that's why we have decided, your father and I, that -- well, he's not going to come visit you here anymore, and you're not going to go to his house, either. But that doesn't mean that your daddy doesn't love you, because he does. And you didn't do anything wrong, sweetie. We are so proud you. You are such a good, wonderful little boy, and we love you so, so much. Do you know how much we love you?

Morgan: To infinity and beyond.

Carly: Yeah. To infinity and beyond.

Nadine: This is sweet. You'll have to order all the usual medical supplies, which you could do through the hospital. Although, I'd be happy to make a list if you want. Although I hate the idea of a bunch of shelves with supplies on them. It's just not very friendly, and you want this to be warm and welcoming, or at least I want this to be warm and welcoming. But if you want something different, then that's certainly something we can -

Nikolas: Nadine, Nadine -

Nadine: Sorry.

Nikolas: No, no. Look, it's just -- it's a little early to be thinking about tongue depressors. And I certainly didn't ask for your help so you could order supplies for
the clinic.

Nadine: Right. I am supposed to be consulting, especially in pediatrics. Oh, which reminds me, what do you think about a zoo theme? You know, we get some stuffed animals, or if we have more than one kid's examining room, we can have one be, like, a jungle theme and the other be an aquarium with, you know, cartoon animals, obviously, because we don't want to scare the kids. That would just be distracting. I'm babbling, aren't I?

Nikolas: Yeah, yeah, just a little.

Nadine: Oh, god. We both know why. I'm totally mortified. I was so out of line.

Nikolas: No, it's ok. It's ok.

Nadine: No, I had no business asking you if you'd slept with Claudia Zacchara.

Claudia: You got that right. What Nikolas and I do is our business.

Sharon: Cindy and I go way back.

[Sharon chuckles]

Sharon: Oh, sorry. Sam. We met in Albuquerque. I was with this really terrific guy named Dennis at the time. Me and Dennis had actually started shopping for engagement rings, and then Cindy showed up. Lucky: Her name is Sam.

Sharon: You can imagine my surprise. There I was one night, watching television, "Everyday Heroes," and suddenly, sweet little Cindy starts talking right to me all about how to survive a house fire. Except they say her name is Sam McCall.

Sam: Yeah. Thanks for stopping by, Sharon.

Sharon: Oh.

[Sharon chuckles
]

Sharon: But I haven't told your boyfriend what happens. Dennis and sweet little Cindy started getting it on.

Sam: Yeah, it's obviously not a part of my life that I'm proud of.

Sharon: Come on. You're not the first woman to try to snag a man with money. Except most of them don't actually clean the guy out in six months and disappear.

Sam: Oh.

Lucky: If you're going to give a history lesson about Sam, save your breath. I know all about her past, and I don't care.

Sharon: Oh, how sweet. I like a guy who's open-minded. Why don't you dump Cindy and hang out with me for a while?

Giselle: Kate, have you talked to George lately?

Kate: Well, we emailed last month.

Giselle: He's in Lake Como again. I'm thinking of going this summer.

Spinelli, Australian accent: Ah, Lago di Como. His lake exceeds anything I've ever beheld in beauty." You know, Percy B. Shelley wrote that about Lake Como to a friend of his, Thomas love peacock. Imagine living in an age where even the names conjure up romance. Champagne.

Giselle: Do you go often, Damian?

Spinelli: Um -

Jax: Well, you know, if you do go, Giselle, there's a great restaurant that I know. It's down a flight of stairs. It's one of those places you don't even know is there unless somebody shows you.

Ric: Excuse me. Miss Howard, could I speak to you for a minute please? What the hell is going on?

Kate: Spinelli just showed up dressed in a suit, talking like that, and Giselle took a shine to him, so we're going with it.

Ric: What's the game?

Kate: We need Giselle to promote "Crimson" in "Couture."

Ric: Oh, and you're using Mr. Spinelli to show her around. My, how the mighty have fallen.

Kate: Shut up.

Spinelli: Oh, well, look who's here.

Johnny: Spinelli, what -

Spinelli: Uh -- Giselle let me introduce john Zacchara, co-owner of the casino.

Giselle: Any friend of Damian's is a friend of mine.

Kelly: Everything looks good. The baby's in a good position and the heartbeat is strong. How you feeling?

Robin: Cramps have subsided.

Kelly: Good. Page Dr. Drake to 415, please. Thanks. Your blood pressure is coming down, which helps.

Robin: Yeah. I feel like I can breathe again. I don't even want to tell you what was going through my head.

Kelly: I promise you I will do everything in my power to see that you and your baby get through this in one piece.

Robin: Thank you for being such a good friend.

Kelly: Right now it's more important that I am a good doctor. Not giving in to fear is the best gift you can give yourself and your baby. Work on that.

Robin: Ok.

[Knock on door]

Patrick: Well?

Robin: We're fine. Me and the baby, we're both fine.

Kelly: Before I make a diagnosis, there's still a couple of tests to run. But I can tell you the baby is healthy, and we're going to figure out how to keep it that way.

Patrick: You don't know what caused it?

Kelly: Working on it.

Patrick: I guess I should be more sensitive when I'm telling patients that I won't have answers until test results come back.

[Kelly laughs
]

Kelly: I will be back ASAP.

Patrick: Ok. How you feeling?

Robin: So much better.

Patrick: Good.

Robin: Yeah. Once I found out that the baby was ok, it was like, you know, whatever else comes up, we can deal with it. I mean, you know what I mean. I -- I can deal with it. I don't want it to sound -

Patrick: Robin, you can say "we." I'm not going anywhere.

[Knock on door]

Sonny: Yeah? We're standing on formalities now?

Jason: I didn't know if you had company.

Sonny: Nope, just by myself. What is that?

Jason: It's from Michael. He got it off the internet. I helped him order it, but he picked it out. He had it sent to my house.

Sonny: Why?

Jason: Because he didn't want you to see it too soon. It's your Father's Day present.

[Knock on door]

Carly: Come in.

Lulu: Hey. Is this a bad time?

Carly: I don't remember the last time it was a good time.

Lulu: Ok. I wanted to thank you for defending me with Claudia Zacchara.

Carly: She's not someone you mess with. What do you need?

Lulu: I didn't come here to ask you anything. I've already done that, and I made a mess of things. Truth is, I miss you. I miss hanging out with you. I miss having you to talk to. And I know I have no one to blame but myself. I was completely out of line at Michael's ICU when I was going on and on about Johnny with at you were going through. And I would do anything to take it back.

Carly: I've done worse and been forgiven.

Lulu: I love you. And I feel so sorry about Michael. It breaks my heart, and instead of supporting you, I was completely self-absorbed and insensitive. And you have been so good to me, and I wasn't there for you. And I'm just -- I'm so sorry.

Carly: Hey, stop that. It's ok. I forgive you.

Lulu: Is there anything that I can do for you now?

Carly: Well, you can help me figure out a way to stop Morgan from missing his father.

[Telephone rings]

Nikolas: Excuse me.

Claudia: So, how's it going, Noreen?

Nadine: It's Nadine, actually.

Claudia: Right.

Nadine: I'm sorry if it sounded like I was prying earlier. I was actually apologizing for prying.

Claudia: No, it's cool. Listen. When you come right out and ask a guy if he's having sex with another woman, it kind of screams jealousy.

Nadine: I'm just worried about Nikolas as a friend.

Claudia: Mm-hmm.

Nadine: He's in mourning.

Claudia: For his dead fiancée. I know all about that. Listen; don't get your panties in a knot. I'm not sleeping with him. Yet. I'm actually really grateful for the way that you helped me when I was injured. Thank you.

Nadine: You could make an effort to remember my name.

Claudia: Nadine. Nadine. I'm impressed that you didn't tell anyone that you saw me at Windermere.

Nadine: Well, Nikolas asked me not to, so -

Claudia: Yeah. Pretty obvious what you'd like to see happen there. Nikolas is unique. But just a little word of advice -- girls like you are a dime a dozen.

Nadine: That's really offensive.

Claudia: I'm sorry. You know, the thing is, is that I just think you should set your sights on a man that you might actually stand a chance with.

Nadine: Are you saying that Nikolas is out of my league?

Claudia: I'm saying if you have to ask, then you already know the answer.

Nikolas: The answer to what?

Claudia: Oh, just, you know whether or not you want to go with me to the haunted star tonight. But I can see that you're busy with your friend here, so -

[Laughter]

Giselle: Oh, my goodness. Thank you, Damian. You're my good luck charm.

Spinelli, Australian accent: Well, you have plenty of charm to spare. You hardly need mine.

Leyla: Spinelli's looking well tonight.

Jerry: I was just thinking the same thing. My God.

Spinelli: Oh, lovely lady. Champagne for my beautiful friend, please.

Jax: Yes, isn't life full of miracles?

Jerry: Astonishingly.

Diane: Hello, handsome. I'm so sorry I'm late.

Max: Were you in court?

Diane: No. Actually, I had a bit of a meltdown in Jason's office.

Max: Hey, listen. If Jason said anything, you just tell me.

Diane, laughing: Oh, no. No, but color me warm all over that you have such a macho reaction.

Max: What was the meltdown about?

Diane: Nothing. Nothing at all. Now come on. Buy a girl a drink.

Max: Right this way.

Johnny: My father wants Claudia's name off the deed.

Ric: That wouldn't be a wise move at this point.

Johnny: Can I help you, pal?

Jerry: Oh, yes, I was just wondering how your lovely sister is, Claudia.

Johnny: Why you so interested?

Jerry: Well, I haven't seen her since that time at Anthony's house. It's as if she's disappeared from the face of the earth. I mean, I was wondering if something was wrong.

Johnny: She's fine. She'll be here in a few minutes.

Jerry: Good.
