Monday June 23, 2008 - Part 2 Patrick: I am sick of having the same fight with you.
Robin: But you wouldn't have even thought of having a family if I wasn't pregnant.
Patrick: But you are. And at least I want the chance to explore the possibilities. Bin, I might be good at fatherhood. Hell, I might be great. Why would it be any different than anything else in my life?
Robin: He said with modesty. Listen, I love you, but I don't want to be your test run at fatherhood. I mean, I was really excited about being a single mom, because then I'd know who I can count on.
Patrick: I think you have your head in the sand. You have this romantic idea of you and the baby taking on the world.
Robin: I'm just being realistic. I don't think you have any idea what it means to raise a child.
Patrick: I can figure it out. But you want realistic? Everybody needs somebody, even you. You can call a nurse. Or you can have me, the man who loves you, the man that you're having this child with, be the one that you depend on.
Robin: You're serious.
Patrick: I'm going to go to the kitchen. I'm going to grab myself a beer. I'm going to grab a couple aspirins, no offense. While I'm gone, I want you to think about what I said. Do you need anything?
Robin: Herb tea.
Patrick: Tea.
Robin: Please.
Patrick: Ok.
[Phone rings]
Elizabeth: Fifth floor, Nurse Webber.
Robin: Elizabeth, I really need your help.
Maxie: I love your boat. It looks so fast.
Lulu: That's what the big motor is for, Maxie.
Maxie: Any chance you'll take me for a ride?
Johnny: No chance at all.
Maxie: It's such a shame. We could have so much more fun. I've had hair extensions more interesting than Lulu.
Lulu: Oh, for God's sake, Maxie, we have tried to not hurt your feelings, not that you have any, but you obviously can't take a hint, so I'm going to have to spell it out for you. Johnny is not interested. In other words, go away.
Maxie: Ok, but only because I have to get back to work. Work, you remember what that is, right? And don't worry. I'll cover for you with Kate again, because if there's anything that I am, it's a team player, and since we're a team, any time you take an afternoon off to sunbathe, I get one, too.
Lulu: Nice try, but that's not why I came here.
Maxie: Of course not. I came by to give Johnny an eyeful of what he's missing. If that makes you feel insecure, it should. Bye, Johnny.
Johnny: Don't forget your towel.
Johnny: Why don't I show you how little you have to worry?
Sonny: What are you doing? Are you crying?
Kate: It's a good crying, so I it's worth it.
Sonny: Aw, I didn't mean to make you cry. So here we go. Look at this. Now, I didn't want you think I was overly confident. Do you get what I'm saying? So -
Kate: Oh, sonny. Oh, my.
Sonny: I mean -- I mean, you're not very -- you're not easy to, you know, buy a ring for, because you're such a big shot. You know what I mean?
[Kate laughs]
Sonny: And you're who you are. Now, you know, if it's too flashy, I'll take -- I'll take it right back.
Kate: Well, yes, it's flashy, but I love it.
Sonny: You love it?
Kate: Yeah, there's a little bit of Bensonhurst still left in me, and I know that I should want something subtle and understated, but oh, no. I want something big and flashy to show how much I love you.
Sonny: Yeah?
Kate: We have to take this one off first.
[Kate and sonny laugh]
Kate: Hang on.
Sonny: What do you say? Uh-oh. Right.
Kate: Shaking.
Sonny: Wow, look at that. Fits?
Kate: It's perfect. You're going to make me very, very, very, very happy.
Claudia: It'll do you good.
Jason: I didn't ask you to cook.
Claudia: I opened a can of soup and heated it up. That's as domestic as I get. Come on, it's yummy. Chicken broth, that's all you had. What, you actually think I'm going to poison you, Jason? Really? Mmm. You don't trust anyone, do you?
Jason: Not you.
Claudia: Ok, I'll try to act offended. Wonder how Spinelli's research is coming.
Jason: I'm sure he's doing just fine.
Claudia: You trust him, right? He worships you, and you're sweet with him, in your own way. Maybe he'll find out something useful, like how long this thing is going to be contagious or when we can get out of here.
Jason: Maybe we can make it that you leave. You can leave any time you want.
Claudia: I don't want to contaminate anyone, but I'll be really glad to get away from you.
Spinelli: Stone Cold, a breakthrough. Remember how you ordered the Jackal to monitor Ian Devlin's offshore accounts, postmortem? There's been activity.
Jason: Have you got a lead on who Devlin is working for?
Alexis: Why is he still here? Jax and Carly have gone home. There's no reason for him to still be waiting there.
Diane: If I had to guess, I would say that Jerry is hanging around waiting for you to come out of hiding and face him.
Alexis: I am not going to parade my sex life around my colleagues.
Diane: Too late.
Alexis: What am I going to do? I just told the world that I'm having sex with a criminal.
Diane: Who convinced you to trust him?
Alexis: It was a momentary lapse of judgment. Listen, you go out there. Here, tell him -- tell him that he's got to leave. Tell him that I -- I'll call him.
Diane: All right.
Alexis: Some day. Be convincing.
[Alexis peeks through the window]
Alexis: Why are you still here? Did she tell you to leave?
Jerry: There's something you need to know about me. I don't follow orders. I do as I please.
Carly: You know, you're lucky I'm secure. Any other woman would think your reaction to Alexis sleeping with your brother was pure jealousy.
Jax: You know, Alexis has the capacity to be deeply hurt, and Jerry's just the guy to do it.
Carly: Well, she's lucky to have you to defend her.
Jax: Yeah, she is, because my brother can't be trusted.
Carly: Hey, what if your brother makes Alexis happy?
Jax: Yeah, I don't think so. No, he doesn't -- he'll just revert back to his original ways. And by the way, he's dead wrong what he said about me at the police station, because I most definitely appreciate what I have.
Carly: And I'm the luckiest girl in the world, because I was the one you were waiting for.
Jax: Oh, yeah, you're so lucky.
Carly: Oh.
Jax: What? What's the matter?
Carly: Oh, God.
Jax: You ok?
Carly: I feel so terrible and dizzy and nauseous.
Lulu: Wait, what -- what's wrong? What's wrong?
Johnny: I don't know. You said this place had bad memories for you. Come on, let's go for another swim.
Lulu: No, maybe what I need to do is replace the bad memories with some good ones.
Johnny: Oh. Yeah?
Anthony: What's taking you so long?
Johnny: What are you talking about?
Anthony: I told the bimbo who answered your phone before that I needed to see you, so unless you've drowned, unwrap yourself from Lulu and get over here.
Johnny: Why? What's going on?
Anthony: Your sister is in a position to take advantage of a major opportunity that's going to benefit us all.
Spinelli: The Jackal does not wish to mislead. What -- what appeared in the computer is merely a clue. It may be nothing more than -
Jason: Stop, stop. That enough. You can go away.
Claudia: I'm kind of trapped here.
Jason: Well, go upstairs.
Claudia: Fine.
Spinelli: Stone Cold, there's -- there's really no need for secrecy. Someone made a withdrawal from Dr. Devlin's account and deposited it into a second numbered account. The Jackal, as of yet, has not identified the owner of said account, but it is possible that whoever it is has no connection to the shooting of the littlest mobster.
Jason: Who Ian Devlin did business with is a suspect in Michael's shooting.
Robin: Are you still mad?
Patrick: It depends on you.
Robin: Well, I heard what you said, and I'm not dismissing it. I just think it deserves some --
[Knock on door]
Robin: Consideration.
Patrick: [Sighing] Oh, my God.
Elizabeth: Patrick, thank God.
Patrick: Hi.
Elizabeth: I knew robin would be here, but you're even better.
Patrick: Better than what?
Elizabeth: I need a babysitter. My regulars aren't available, and daycare is full, and Lucky's working, Gram's out of town. But the good news is I'm only going to be for a few hours. Do you think you could help me out?
Patrick: Oh, I really -- that's not -
Elizabeth: You really would be a life saver. Got him?
Patrick: Elizabeth, I have to take care of robin.
Elizabeth: Oh, please. Jake's no trouble at all. I've got food in here. I've got toys. He does need his diaper changed. Be a good boy for them, ok, baby? Thank you both so much.
Robin: Sure.
Elizabeth: Call me if you need me. I'll be back soon. I owe you big time.
Jax: So have you been feeling nauseous, like, all morning long?
Carly: No, I think it's just low blood sugar. I was about to make myself something to eat when I got the call that you were arrested. I'm just going to make myself a snack, and I'll be fine.
Jax: Maybe we should go see the doctor.
Carly: Doctor? Well, it could be the flu, but I don't have any other symptoms, just slightly nauseous. That's all.
Jax: I wasn't really thinking the flu. Maybe there's a chance that you're pregnant.
Kate: We're getting married. That's the plan, right? Not some long, endless engagement.
Sonny: We're getting married.
Kate: I know, I know, I should be calm and cool and unruffled, but I can't help it. I'm excited.
Sonny: Everybody -- a lot of people get married, so -
Kate: Uh, not me. This will be my first, Sonny, and there are so many things to decide.
Sonny: Like what?
Kate: Where are we going to live?
Sonny: Well, I assume we're going to live here.
Kate: Well, you cannot assume something that big. I love my house. I got it the way I like it.
Sonny: Come on.
Kate: I have these friends, Ann and David. They live in London. They're fabulous. You'll meet them at the wedding. They have two houses on the same street. They live in one, and they entertain in the other. I always thought that was a fabulously decadent idea.
Sonny: Yeah, yeah, we can try it.
Kate: You see?
Sonny: What?
Kate: That is the advantage of being adults. We can be madly in love but still be practical. We can build a life together but can keep our assets separate, which makes me think of Diane. Do you want to call her, or should I?
Sonny: What will we call her for?
Kate: To draw up the prenup, of course.
Maxie: Hold the doors. Oh, oh. Oh, you. This should be fun.
Johnny: It's getting old, Maxie.
Maxie: You know, for your information, I didn't plan this. I had to go home and shower and change before coming back to work, which happens to be on the third floor.
Johnny: Can we go now?
Lulu: One more thing. I don't have to lurk around hotel lobbies or jump into elevators to get you to notice me. You do that on your own.
Johnny: You know, I really just want to get to the third floor, so you can get off here.
Maxie: You are rude and a liar. I saw you watching me all afternoon.
Johnny: Yeah, I noticed how rude you were to Lulu on purpose. There's got to be a reason for that.
Maxie: Um, she deserves it.
Johnny: You know, Maxie, at the overlook the other night, it did seem like you were halfway decent. You got it in you. You got to focus more time on that than wasting your time chasing me around.
Maxie: Looks like we're stuck.
[Johnny sighs]
Logan: It's never a good idea to swim alone, Lulu.
Lulu: What are you doing here?
Logan: You look good. The truth is, I've missed you.
Claudia: When did he fall asleep?
Spinelli: Just a few minutes ago. The Jackal has a request of Vixenella.
Claudia: Sure, what do you need?
Spinelli: Might you monitor the master's condition in my absence?
Claudia: Where are you going? Spinelli: The Jackal must do further research and is finding it difficult to concentrate. A headache, no doubt arising from worry, tension, and lack of sleep, is starting to take its toll.
Claudia: Sure, go upstairs. Go get some rest. I'll watch Jason for you, ok? You just -
Spinelli: I must warn you, though. I fear the master's condition is worsening. Maybe a call to the hospital is warranted.
Claudia: No, I don't think so, spinelli. If his condition changes, I'll call you, ok?
Spinelli: Ok.
Claudia: He'll be fine.
Spinelli: The Jackal is most grateful, as would Stone Cold be if he weren't ravaged with fever.
>> On the next "General Hospital" -
Maxie: Getting back at Lulu would make me feel so good.
Jax: Why would you object to a home pregnancy test?
Sonny: If you think that it's a bad idea to be my wife, we don't have to get married.
Jason: Don't touch me
