Friday June 27, 2008 Part- 1

Tracy: You said you wanted to protect Lulu. Now's your chance

Lulu: Are you ok?

Robin: Whoa!

Patrick: Hey.

Robin: Hey.

Patrick: Morning. I got some hot chocolate. I got some doughnuts, eggs and cheese, just the way you like it.

Robin: I had breakfast already.

Patrick: Well, you're not going to work.

Robin: Yes, I am going to work. And you can't stop me.

Maxie: Ms. Howard is going to be interviewing all of the top wedding coordinators. Hold on. Could you tell me what room Damien Spinelli is in?

Nurse: 619.

Maxie: It's going to be the event of the year.

Matt: This patient's EKG was abnormal and that would indicate the meds aren't working.

Maxie: Well, then I suggest you bring your a-game.

Matt: Get a bed ready for me in ICU.

Maxie: What the hell?

Matt: Watch where you're going. Try and be more careful.

Maxie: You idiot! My whole life is on that PDA.

Matt: Well, then you ought to take better care of it.

Claudia: How is he?

Jason: His fever broke. He's going to be ok.

Claudia: Were you here all night? Poor guy. I'm glad you stayed with him.

Carly: Call me when you get this. It's important

Carly: You just can't come to my house any time you feel like it, Sonny. It's not fair, and it's confusing to Morgan.

Sonny: I know you're pregnant. Am I the father?

Lulu: Was that for Tracy's benefit or just for me?

Johnny: She's worried about you.

Lulu: She's trying to break us up, you know that, but I'll never it happen. I cannot believe they kept you in lockup overnight.

Johnny: It's mostly politics anyway.

Lulu: I know, I know. I was here last night. Lucky wanted me to stand around and watch. So I did.

Johnny: Yeah, I saw you sitting out there. Why didn't you come in?

Lulu: You just had so much going on with Anthony and Trevor. I didn't want to come in and make a big scene.

Tracy: Oh, let me get this straight. You stood on the sidelines and watched the Zacchara family in l their glory, and you still don't get that this boy is a disaster for you? He's never going to get out of the mob. And his family will close ranks against you in a minute.

Lulu: Johnny is not like the rest of them.

Tracy: Oh, really? When was the last time he put you before his family?

Lulu: You don't understand.

Tracy: No, sweetheart, you don't understand. So I'm going to reserve a room for you at Shadybrook, because that's where you're headed.

Lulu: Ok, she's just -- she's being mean.

Johnny: What if she's right?

Robin: My bed rest is over.

Patrick: By what, two seconds?

Robin: I just called Kelly, and she told me that I can go back to work.

Patrick: Great. Let's open the laptop. We can look in the McGinnis file. I could use some help on that. You love hot chocolate. Why not take an extra day to s around? Give us half a chance, we can work this out.

Robin: My baby deserves better than "we can work this out."

Patrick: I'm going to ask you something. What is so terribly wrong about wanting to raise my own child?

Robin: The fact that you don't really want to.

Patrick: Ok, that's right. I made some pretty big pronouncements about not wanting to be a father. And in hindsight, that was pretty stupid. But you know what? I'm admitting that I was wrong and I'm here. And I'm trying to grow up, at least a little bit.

Robin: Well, you're under no obligation to do so.

Patrick: I'm making serious changes in my life, which is more than I can say for you. You're not getting enough rest. You're going back to work. You got the baby sleeping in the closet.

Robin: Dressing area.

Patrick: Robin, would you try and be realistic about this?

Robin: You be realistic. All of the sudden you change one diaper and you're an expert on fatherhood?

Patrick: Well, yeah, you know what? I did change it. And I fed him the green slop. And I got him to go to sleep. I didn't ace your little test, but I passed it.

Robin: What do you want, a medal?

Patrick: I am not going to walk away because you're scared.

Robin: I am not scared.

Patrick: Excuse me, petrified.

Robin: Listen, you do not want your girlfriend and her baby to move in with you and cramp your style.

Patrick: Robin, do not tell me what I want for the hundredth time.

Robin: Well, then maybe you should be honest about what you really want.

Patrick: Well, if you want so petrified, maybe you would make some more rational choices.

Robin: It was my idea to have this child, therefore, I'm going to raise it my way. And if you are so stubborn, you would see that makes the most sense.

Patrick: I would say you are not the only one involved in this situation.

Anna: Hey, hey, you guys. You guys, hold it down. I could hear you all the way down the hallway. Robin, it's going to be all right. Mother's here.

Jerry: Now, would you repeat what Anthony Zacchara told you?

Alexis: I don't think that I can remember it verbatim.

Jerry: A known killer threatened your daughter's life. You remember what he said. Now, tell me now.

Alexis: He said that he wanted his son released. And I told him that we couldn't do that until the investigation was complete.

Jerry: And what exactly did Zacchara say would happen to Kristina?

Alexis: He talked about the lake at her day camp. He asked me if I was nervous. He said that children have a tendency to wander off. And that they can drown in just a matter of minutes.

Jerry: It's ok. Where's Kristina now?

Alexis: She's at home with Viola. I can't prosecute because it was a vague threat. And if I say something to Sonny, then he'll start a mob war, which would only make it dangerous for Kristina.

Jerry: Don't worry, darling. I'll take it from here.

Maxie: Look at this. The screen's is completely dead.

Matt: It's not my problem.

Maxie: Yes, it is. You're going to have to pay for it.

Matt: Ok, I'm the new resident here, which means I'm a doctor, and I have patients to attend to. It's called rounds.

Maxie: Ok, well, I've been volunteering at this hospital since I was in seventh grade. And I have seen lots of residents come and go. Even the ones who think they're god's gift to medicine!

Nikolas: Is there a problem here?

Maxie: Yeah, he broke my phone.

Nikolas: Yeah, uh -- I don't believe we've met.

Matt: Sorry, uh, I have patients to attend to so I don't have time to deal with clumsy volunteers.

Nikolas: Dr. Matt Hunter, is it?

Matt: Yeah. Oh, you want to report me? Well, yeah, go right ahead. Just be sure you get my name right.

Nikolas: I am Nikolas Cassadine. The one paying for your fellowship.

Maxie: Oh, I'm pretty sure that means he's your boss.

Carly: I don't even know if I'm pregnant. The other morning I was a little nauseous. Jax got excited. He had no business telling Kate. I haven't even taken a test yet, Sonny.

Sonny: Which means you don't want to know.

Carly: Which means I'll know when I'm ready to know. Sonny: But you think you're pregnant. You got a feeling, right

Carly: I am just trying to figure out how I get through the day without Michael, ok? A baby is the last thing I need. It wouldn't be fair to anyone, especially Morgan, who is still grieving for his brother.

Sonny: And me. And you are trying to avoid taking a pregnancy test because you think that child's mine.

Carly: You know what? Listen to me and try a get past your ego for one minute. If I am pregnant, and I'm probably not, you're definitely not the father.

Sonny: Then who is?

Carly: Jason.

Claudia: I'm glad Spinelli wasn't alone all night.

Jason: Spinelli needs to rest.

Claudia: Oh, and you don't? You're such a tough guy, you can recover from Asian ague just like that?

Jason: You can leave now.

Claudia: I get to visit Spinelli. He's a sweet kid. And I like him.

Spinelli: The Jackal reciprocates Vixenella's warm sentiments.

Claudia: Hey, handsome. How are you feeling?

Spinelli: I'm better now, thanks to your tender care and concern during my time of fever and desperation.

Claudia: Jason actually was the one who took care of you. I just tagged along.

Spinelli: Well, I am wingman to his captain.

Claudia: Well, you'll be flying out of here in no time.

Spinelli: Most grateful thanks.

Claudia: I'm glad you're feeling better.

Jason: I guess she likes you.

Spinelli: I think Vixenella cares for my health in the sense of feeling sorry for the fallen sparrow, but she was here today because of you. It is most clear that Vixenella has feelings for Stone Cold.

[Elizabeth walks into the room]

Elizabeth: I'm glad you're awake. It looks like your fever's going down.

Spinelli: E-excellent tidings, indeed.

Elizabeth: I'm just going to update your chart, and then I'll be out of your way.

Spinelli: I hope that the maternal one, the fair Elizabeth was not mislead by the Jackal's comments, that were not doubt fueled by the remnants of my fever, that's all.

Elizabeth: Oh, no.

Spinelli: Oh, wait, no, don't -- not that the maternal one would be dismayed should Stone Cold reciprocate Vixenella's feelings. I mean, though, it is public knowledge, and well, indeed sworn in a court of law that any connection between the maternal one and Stone Cold has long since ended. And that he is, uh, a free agent, as it were. But so in that sense, the fair Elizabeth might be gratified, in the sense that during her time of confinement, Vixenella showed herself to be, well, empathetic. And yes, even tender towards the Jackal, but most especially towards Stone Cold, but no, no, no. Not that he would wish her to be tender to his person or any other person in the vicinity.

Jason: Go back to sleep.

[Elizabeth looks at Jason before leaving the room]

Spinelli: The Jackal senses his master is looming.

Jason: Open your eyes. You know the situation with me and Elizabeth. Why would bring up Claudia?

Sonny: You're lying

Carly: And you always say that when people tell you something you don't want to hear.

Sonny: Carly, you can't just say the baby is Jason's. You haven't slept with him in years. You're married to Jax.

Carly: Jason got me through the worst thing that's ever happened to me. He was with from the night Michael was shot until I could function again. We took care of each other. The pain brought us closer.

Sonny: So, you're saying you slept with Jason while Michael was in ICU?

Carly: I'm saying that Jason and I needed each other and you weren't there. And Jax wasn't there. So, if I am pregnant, this baby is his.

Kate: The demographic loves the romance and the glamour of anyone's wedding. They love thinking about weddings. They love planning weddings. And the market research backs me up.

Jax: But why does "Crimson" have to be a feature on your wedding to a professional criminal?

Kate: Sonny's never been convicted of anything.

Jax: Oh, that's beside the point, Kate. You know everyone knows that he's a gangster.

Kate: Well, he's not anymore.

Jax: What if you're wrong, hmm? What if the government decides t go after Sonny for his past crimes, hmm? "Crimson" will be ruined. I will lose my investment, and your reputation, well, you know what's going to happen to that.

Kate: Look, Jax, I know Sonny. He's wanted to leave the mob for a very long time. And now that he has made the choice, I'm going to stand by him, every step of the way.

Jax: I have a conference call, so should I come back and go over the numbers with you?

Kate: Yeah, I guess that's fine.

Jax: Ok.

Kate: Jax, I want you to be happy for me.

Jax: Kate, you're risking everything on a bad investment.

Kate: Sonny's not going to let me down, Jax.

Jax: Ok.

Anna: You need to sit.

[Robin grunts]

Anna: Sit down, come on. You have to take it easy. I don't know what you're doing out of bed or dressed. Where were you going? Why did you let her get out of bed?

Patrick: I didn't.

Robin: I'm going to work.

Anna: Don't be silly. No, you can't. Here, elevate your feet. I did a little research on the air lift. Come on.

Robin: The air lift?

Anna: It was nothing. What is this?

Patrick: I brought breakfast.

Anna: Oh, I'm glad you could fit that into your schedule. You know, Patrick buying breakfast for my daughter isn't exactly taking care of her.

Robin: Mom, he's been trying to take care of me.

Anna: What? And there's always an excuse? I told you, he's exactly like your father. Patrick: Like she just said, I'm trying.

Anna: I wish headquarters had contacted me, you know, when they got your message.

Robin: I told them not to. I didn't want you to worry.

Anna: Why wouldn't I be worried? And I don't know why they didn't just tell me. I already had the microchip from the arms dealer. You know, I barely got the last chopper out.

Robin: I don't want to interfere with your work.

Anna: You know, the agency can do fine without me for a while. They may not have another agent that works quickly and efficiently as I do, but what do I care? Let someone else do the heavy lifting for a while. God knows I've done my share. And you need me.

Patrick: Yeah, children always need their parents. Both of them.

Anna: Sorry if I was impatient with you. You're a delightful man, Patrick, but robin doesn't need any more stress right now. So I think it's probably better if you just leave.

Anna: Don't make me get physical because I don't want to ruin the dress.

Patrick: Robin?

Robin: Go.

[Patrick chuckles]

Lulu: Just forget Tracy. She's just trying to scare me.

Johnny: That doesn't mean that she's wrong. Look, your mother fell in love with a man that hurt her, at least once. And she wouldn't listen to anyone. She made it very clear that she would go anywhere in the world, literally, just to be with him. You told me that yourself.

Lulu: I'm not my mother.

Johnny: But you can see why Tracy's concerned.

Lulu: Tracy does not know that you're collecting evidence to put your father in prison, so you can leave the mob forever.

Johnny: Assuming I ever get out of this place.

Lulu: I just -- I feel really terrible about all this happening.

Johnny: Why? It's not your fault I got into a fight at the Metro Court.

Lulu: Logan came to see me not long before he hit you.

Claudia: I want to see my brother. Right now.

Mac: One visitor at a time.

Claudia: Well, tell whoever's in there to get out.

Mac: I'm not John Zacchara's social secretary. You're going to have to wait.

Claudia: I don't think so.

Mac: Are you trying to make me arrest you?

Ric: Take it easy. No problem. No problem. It's a court order for John Zacchara's immediate release.

Claudia: I'm impressed.

Ric: What does that mean, you're going to say thank you?

Spinelli: I'm sorry. The Jackal is just trying to clear up any incorrect impression that Stone Cold might reciprocate Vixenella's feelings for him.

Jason: Claudia doesn't have feelings for me. I don't have feelings for her. She wants me to kill her father.

Spinelli: Well, that may be true, but the latter doesn't out rule the former. Opposing forces often run parallel. I mean, she -- Vixenella may be fierce, even lethal, but it's obvious that she has a softer side, which she would no doubt be happy to show Stone Cold would he even show the slightest amount of interest.

Jason: She obviously likes you. She's being nice to you.

Spinelli: She was nice to you, too, Stone Cold. She was calm, and dare I say, tender with you, even while she was trying to keep the Jackal from flying into a feverish panic. She even offered to give you a sponge bath.

Jason: Ok, stop talking. Stop.

Spinelli: She didn't offer me a sponge -

Jason: Obviously, you still have the fever. Don't talk about the quarantine again. Just stop it.

Maxie: Hey! You better be nice to Spinelli while he's sick.

Spinelli: Hi.

Nikolas: There was quite a bit of competition for that fellowship you received wasn't there?

Matt: Yeah, 2,200 apps. I checked.

Nikolas: 2,200, yeah, that's -- well, it was not only based on financial need, of course, but academic credentials, commitment to public service. You know. The board, they handled most of the interviews, but I was the one who made the fin decision.

Matt: Ok. Well, I'm not here to chat up the money guy. I'm here to practice medicine, so if you will excuse me.

Nikolas: No, hang on. Hang on. I established that fellowship along with the free clinic, which you will be working at, just FYI, in honor of my late fiancée, Emily Quartermaine, who was a brilliant medical student. And the kindest person on this planet. So my suggestion to you would be to find a little humility.

Patrick: Hey.

Nikolas: Oh.

Patrick: How you feeling?

Nikolas: Good, good. Very well, thank you. Doctor, this is our newest resident -- let me see that. Matt Hunter, yes. Dr. Patrick Drake.

Matt: You've done some outstanding work.

Patrick: You're right, I have. If you think you're going to come in here and do a better job than me, good luck.

Sonny: The baby isn't Jason's. It's just another crazy plan of yours that's not going to work. Are you going to lie to Jax, too?

Carly: I'll tell Jax that if I'm pregnant there's a good chance that the baby is Jason's, so we need to have a paternity test. If Jax and I get divorced, I'm sure he'll still pose as the baby's father.

Sonny: And Jason's just going to walk away from his second kid?

Carly: Jason just wants his children to be safe. You know, it's not about ownership. He doesn't treat his kids like a possession.

Sonny: But I do, right, Carly? So you're willing to lie and say the baby's not mine?

Carly: Why would I do that? If had your child, I could stop this ridiculous marriage to Kate.

Sonny: You should be happy. I'm starting a new life.

Carly: Yeah, but it wouldn't last very long if Kate found out we had sex the night we took Michael to Manhattan. Why don't you just admit that she's just the temporary trophy that makes you feel better?

Sonny: Yeah, she does make me feel better. And you don't know what you're talking about.

Carly: I know you'll never be first with her. Hell, you won't even be second or third.

Sonny: Forget Kate. We're talking about this baby. And I'm telling you, if it is my baby, I am not letting you take it away from me.

Carly: If there's a baby, then Jason's the father. And it's up to us to decide what we do with this baby, not you.
