Friday June 27, 2008 Part- 2

Anna: Ok, drink it all up, it's chamomile. It will help you relax, and then you can rest.

Robin: That is all that I've been doing for days is resting. And I'm better now, and I want to go back to work.

Anna: You work too hard.

Robin: Well, I like to work. I like it. And Kelly said that there is no reason why I shouldn't be able to carry this baby to term. So, there's really nothing to worry about.

[Cell phone rings]

Anna: This is debriefing. It's boring, but I've got to take it.

Robin: No, go ahead.

Anna: Ok.

Robin: Please.

Anna: Yeah, I secured the microchip. An old friend lifted me off the mountain. Yeah, I hit the target. I always do. Why don't you just finish that tea? I won't be a moment. No, no problem. Terrible accidents happen on the French Alps all the time. Practically every day.

Claudia: Has my brother been released?

Ric: He will be.

Claudia: Great, that's when you'll get your thank you.

Ric: Hello, D.A. Here's your court order. John Zacchara should be released immediately.

Alexis: How many favors did this cost you?

Ric: Actually, none. John Zacchara was over-charged in the first place. He shouldn't have spent five minutes in the squad room, l alone overnight in jail. I also have three sworn affidavits from different witnesses saying that Logan struck first.

Alexis: You've done some very competent work here, counselor. Cashing in all those favors must have just moved things right along.

Claudia: Why are we all just standing around here? Ric did your job for you. Get my brother released.

Mac: That's up to the D.A.

Alexis: Well, it turns out that your lawyer wasted his time and your money because our office came up with the same conclusion without a court order or so-called witnesses. The charges are being dropped.

Lulu: They're coming this way.

Johnny: Claudia got me out.

Lulu: Let's go back to your house and celebrate.

Johnny: Sounds good.

Lulu: Or we could go in the car for a drive.

Johnny: I like that idea even better.

Lulu: Yeah, fresh air, going really fast. Who knows where we could end up?

Mac: Zacchara, let's go.

Claudia: Hi, honey.

Alexis: Just to be clear, this office is dropping all the charges.

Ric: Yes and your father wants to see the both of you as soon as John was released.

Johnny: I have other plans.

Claudia: Johnny, come on. You don't want to let daddy down, do you?

Johnny: I'll see you later.

Jason: Diane, the doctor says the virus only lasts four hours.

[Diane laughs]

Diane: Well, what do they know?

Jason: What?

Diane: Of all the places that you could have chosen to meet in Port Charles, why did you insist on meeting here? You must be ready to collapse from exhaustion.

Jason: No, actually, I'm fine. Did you touch base with Bernie? What's going on?

Diane: If the city decides to shut down any of your operations due to unwarranted inspections, then I will file a cease and desist, and I will start a fight between the mayor and the D.A. Which should last for the entire summer.

Jason: What about the certificates of operation? That's what I need to know.

Diane: The port Charles bureaucracy is not the most pressing of your concerns.

Jason: Ok, then what is?

Diane: Have you talked to Carly?

Jason: No, I haven't. What's wrong?

Diane: I can't tell you.

Jason: Why not?

Diane: Attorney client privilege.

Jason: Ok, Diane, if Carly needs my help, you have to tell me right now.

Carly: Jason, I have to talk to you as soon as possible. If you don't call me back in 15 minutes, I'm going to track you down.

Jax: Who are you tracking down?

Carly: Jason. I heard he was quarantined with some weird virus, and if I don't hear from him soon, I'm going to go over there.

Jax: No, you're not, not if it's contagious. I don't want you and the baby getting sick.

Carly: We don't know that I'm pregnant.

Jax: Ok, I just don't want you taking any chances, period.

Carly: Well, if I thought I was pregnant, I wouldn't do anything to put this baby at risk.

Jax: Carly, you know, all reason flies out the window when Jason is involved.

Carly: Ok, listen.

Jax: Ok, this is a pattern with you. So, just please, stop.

Carly: If we find out I'm pregnant, I will do everything I can to keep this baby safe.

Kate: Yes, Clarice, the rumors are true. And Maha Chang is going to design my gown. Well, Sonny, of course. Clarice, it's customary to congratulate the bride. Of course I know what I'm doing. Sonny and I are going to be very happy.

Sonny: Kate.

Kate: I'll call you back. Sonny: I'm sorry. Listen, I don't know what the hell I was doing going over there. It's not like I didn't know what to expect. It's always the same.

Kate: You had a fight with Carly.

Sonny: Yes, I did. And you deserve to know what's going on.

Elizabeth: Look at this. Why do interns leave the charts everywhere and expect the nurses to clean it up?

Robin: Well, I hear that new guy thinks he's god's gift. Want me to page him so you can beat him up?

Elizabeth: No, it wouldn't do any good.

Robin: Is there anything I can do?

Elizabeth: Jason was here all night with Spinelli, and we said about 10 words to each other. But really, what is there left to say, right?

Robin: I'm so sorry.

Elizabeth: It's really frustrating having to let go. Even though I know I have to.

[Robin chuckles]

Robin: I know what you mean.

Patrick: Ah, you're here. Good. I need you to take a look at this.

Robin: The McGinnis labs?

Patrick: It's a petition for visitation with my unborn child.

Maxie: You really scared me. Do me a favor and never get sick again.

Spinelli: Had I not begged Stone Cold to order the pizza that -

Maxie: It is not your fault that the delivery guy had some weird, mystery illness.

Spinelli: Ok, but my lamentable intoxicated state required a high grease and high carbohydrate fare.

Maxie: Yes, it was stupid of you to get drunk at the haunted star, running around and calling yourself Damien, talking in some Australian accent. But that doesn't make you remotely responsible for contracting that Asian what-cha-ma-call-it.

Spinelli: Maximista's logic is clear and flawless.

Maxie: So, what were you and Jason talking about?

Spinelli: Oh, I've inadvertently triggered his wrath.

Maxie: Well, first, I brought you some orange soda, but do you think Jason's going to make someone disappear?

Diane: I respect the rule of law. Which is why you pay me so much. But I have no doubt that Carly will bring her little problem to your doorstep in short order.

Jason: Diane, if she was in danger, you would tell me, right?

Diane: Physical danger -- absolutely. But Carly is fine, for the time being,

Jason: Will you please stop -- stop cleaning. Tell me as much as you can.

Diane: Fine. I think it is more a question of emotional jeopardy which seems to be a permanent state with Carly. But there is a real situation.

Jason: Did she say she had a plan?

Diane: That was my strong impression. Yes. How did you know?

Jason: Because it's been a while since she had one.

Diane: Why are you so bonded with her?

Jason: We've been friends for a long time.

Diane: Carly has children with Sonny, and she is married to Jax. And yet she is obviously quite capable of wrecking havoc in both of their lives. In fact, I happen to think that Sonny is only with Kate Howard as a sort of a vacation. He needs to have a break to recharge his batteries before his next round of emotional dysfunction with Carly. But I digress. She seems to reserve her greatest crises for you. She doesn't bring them to anyone else. And for that matter, neither do you. Do you -- do you confide in each other?

Jason: It's hard to explain, Diane. She just knows that I would do anything for her, and she would do anything for me.

Diane: Ok. Well, hold on to that thought. Because you're going to need it.

Sonny: You need to know why I was fighting with Carly.

Kate: No, I don't.

Sonny: Yeah, you do.

Kate: No, I don't. I already know. Carly is jealous that we're getting married, Sonny. What did she do? Summon you to her living room.

Sonny: No, I went over there. It was a bad idea. And then we got into this fight.

Kate: Look, Carly can't bear to see you happy, Sonny. She knows that you're getting on with your life. And she knows that, at some point, she's going to be shut out of it.

Sonny: I'm not sure that's going to happen though.

Kate: Why not?

Sonny: There's a lot going on.

Kate: Yeah, of course, there's a lot going on. She's deliberately creating all kinds of confusion and reasons to pull you back into her life, despite the fact that she won't let you see your sons.

Sonny: Yes, you're right about that.

Kate: I'm sure she just delighted in telling you that getting married to me was the worst mistake that you would ever make.

Sonny: Ok, but you know what? There's a lot going on that you don't know about.

Kate: I don't need to know, Sonny. I refuse to put Carly in-between us. I refuse to be pulled into the chaos of her life. Look, she blames you for Michael right?

Sonny: Right.

Kate: But you don't have to buy into it, Sonny. You don't have to give Carly any more power than she already has.

Sonny: You're right, Kate. You're right, you're right, you're right.

Kate: I'm right?

Sonny: Yeah.

Kate: Can we talk about the wedding?

Sonny: I don't want to talk about it.

Kate: I know, look, I know. All right, I'm going a little bit, just a little bit overboard. But I want everyone to know about the changes you've made in your life. I want everyone to know how much we love each other.

Sonny: They will.

Kate: Carly's never going to believe in you like I do. The changes you've made mean everything to me, Sonny.

Sonny: No matter what happens with Carly, I want you to know, I'm going to spend the rest of my life with you.

[Knock on door]

Nikolas: Well, the clinic is now open. And I just wanted to thank you.

Alexis: I'm glad I could help, Nikolas.

Nikolas: Whatever leverage you have on the mayor must be really good.

Alexis: It pays to do extensive research.

Nikolas: What's wrong?

Alexis: Other than that I'm a hypocrite?

Nikolas: What -- Jerry blackmailing you?

Alexis: It's just the opposite, actually. I asked him for help, and he's coming through.

Nikolas: Could you be more specific?

Alexis: No, I can't, and we're not having this conversation, all right? I just unleashed Mr. Craig knowing how dangerous he is. And I can't even imagine what kind of hell is about to break loose.

Anthony: Ah, my son. Welcome. We are home at last. Do you want a muffin? I'm sorry you had to spend the night in lockup. It won't happen again. Both lawyers will do better work next time, won't you, gentlemen?

Ric: Well, it would be very helpful if John were to refrain from attacking people in public next time.

Trevor: Richard, John is your client. Give him the benefit of the doubt.

Ric: While I realize that Logan Hayes hit first, John would have saved himself and all of us a lot of trouble if he would have just walked away.

Anthony: Are you reprimanding my son?

Ric: I am just stating facts, Anthony. Logan Hayes worked for you. His father is the special prosecutor. We have to be really careful how we handle this.

Johnny: I'll handle Logan.

Trevor: He is just a small part of the big picture. We have to consider all the players. Claudia, out.

Johnny: Whoa. You don't give my sister orders.

Anthony: Claudia had the opportunity to earn her way into this room. She did not come through. Where are you going? Stay. I want you all to understand that our real problem is district attorney Alexis Davis. She is out of control. But we have the perfect leverage.

Jerry: Good afternoon, all. I'm so glad we could all be together. Listen Carefully. Excuse me. Thank you. I'm about to deliver a message to Mr. Zacchara, senior. Then I may or may not blow little Johnny's brains onto his daddy's lap.

Spinelli: The Jackal's inadvertent and post-fever moments have caused Stone Cold most profound anguish.

Maxie: Did you and Jason have a fight?

Spinelli: No, but the grasshopper's careless comments may have triggered unearned and disastrous sanctions against an innocent -- well, not exactly innocent, but well-meaning, in this case -- party.

Maxie: Against who?

Spinelli: I ignored all the signs -- every warning. I may have put her in mortal and -- you know, I have to warn her. I have to warn her.

Maxie: No, Spinelli, you're connected to the machine.

Spinelli: The Jackal must spring into action.

Maxie: Spinelli, get back -- oh, my goodness.

Matt: You'll have to wait. He's a bit too sick for sex.

Robin: Could you call upstairs, and see if there's room in the psych ward for Dr. Drake? I think he's lost his mind.

Patrick: I'm exercising my parental rights.

Robin: You cannot petition for visitation rights with an unborn child.

Patrick: It seems that way. But the fact is you can, and I did.

Robin: You're only doing this to prove a point.

Patrick: Elizabeth is a mother. I'm sure she'll back me up here.

Elizabeth: Oh, please leave me out of this.

Patrick: There have been many studies that indicate it is possible to bond with a child in utero.

Robin: Well, you're not bonding with this one.

Patrick: Robin, I'm not going to fight you on this. But I am not going to let you deprive me of an opportunity to bond with my child.

Carly: [On recording] Jase, call me. Jason, I really need you. Where are you? Call me when you get this.

[Knock on door] If you don't call me back -

Carly: Didn't you get any of my messages?

Jason: I'm listening to your messages right now. What's wrong?

Carly: Why didn't you call me back? Are you sick?

Jason: No, I'm not sick. Spinelli's at the hospital, but he's feeling better.

Carly: Did you have the place fumigated? Jason yeah, Graciella cleaned the whole place this morning, and Diane was here cleaning.

Carly: Diane was here?

Jason: Yeah. She says that you're in trouble.

Carly: What they used to call it.

Jason: Call what?

Carly: I need to take this.

Jason: Oh, no. Why -- why?

Carly: Because I need to find out if you and I are having a baby.

Kate: So, even without your help, the wedding planning is coming along, but we need a firm date for all the designers. How about September 26?

Sonny: Yeah, that's fantastic. Any time you want, that's great.

Kate: I want you to participate, not just be along for the ride.

Sonny: I --I -- look, whatever makes you happy makes me happy. You know what I mean?

Kate: Oh, I see.

Sonny: You know what I mean?

Jax: Sorry to interrupt.

Kate: Yes, you are here for the numbers, Jax. Let me just go and get some files.

Jax: Ok. Well, Sonny, I hate to be rude. But I'm not going to discuss business in front of you, so -

Sonny: Yeah, well, you have a lot more to worry about than a fashion magazine.

Jax: What is that, a threat? Or are you just staying in practice now that you've retired from your criminal pursuits?

Sonny: No, no, no, I'm just saying if you really think that Carly's pregnant, you might want to get a paternity test.

>> On the next "General Hospital" -

Maxie: Spinelli and I have crazy sex anywhere we want to.

Spinelli: That's my lady.

Jerry: My way or death.

Jax: Why would I need a paternity test for my child?

Carly: Jason, you have to tell Sonny that the baby is yours.
