Claudia: We have to find john before the police do.

Maxie: Excuse me, we?

Claudia: This is a list of all the different cars and boats that my family owns that are under false names, and
I knowJohnny's got to be using at least one of them.

Spinelli: Ok, the -- the search is not as -- as simple as Vixenella imagines.

Claudia: Why, what's the problem?

Maxie: Spinelli's too nice to say it, but I'm not. What gives you the right to barge in here and order
him around?

Claudia: I suggest you help me encourage Spinelli to find my brother or you're going to be very sorry
you didn't.

Nikolas: So the police seem to think that you helped break Johnny Zacchara out of here, but that really doesn't
make anysense to me.

Jason: I can't tell you anything.

Nikolas: The police found -- found the mayor's car in the factory district, but there's no sign of Johnny or Lulu.
I'm here as a concerned
brother, ok? You helped Emily when -- when Zander took her. You went after them and -- and you helped your little
sister. Now I'm
asking you to help mine. I mean, you -- you would've done anything for Emily, right? Ok, so for Emily's sake, if -- if you
know anything
about what happened, please, just tell me.

Lulu: So who lives here? Is that you?

Johnny: Yeah, it's me and professor Siegel. He's my piano teacher. He's lived here for years.

Lulu: But it doesn't seem like anybody's been here for a while.

Johnny: No, he's usually at the shore for the summers.

Lulu: When's the last time you saw him?

Johnny: It's been a while. My mother found him when I was a kid. He -- he used to come to the house and teach
me lessons all the time.
I'd come here every once in a while, in this apartment. God, last time I remember, he was a professor at Julliard
and an accompanist for
classical singers, opera singers. I remember, once, my mom took me to Carnegie Hall to see him perform.
He taught me a lot about music, not just how to play, but how to listen.

Lulu: And did you keep taking lessons from him after your Mom died?

Johnny: Yeah, for a couple of years. But, gradually, as my father got sicker, I had to stop. This place,
this apartment --

Lulu: Your escape.

Johnny: Yeah, it's the one place where everything made sense. Because music is basically about order. Every note is
essentially the same. It's just a matter of how you arrange them.

Lulu: I never thought of it that way.

Johnny: Music kept me sane for a long time. I guess you could say saved my life.

Lulu: And then I came around and put you in danger all over again.

Jax: No, unfortunately, we have different ideas about what love means. And I refuse to settle for the kind of love
you're willing to give me.

Carly: I know I've made mistakes. But, you know, so have you. I'm not giving up
on us.

Jax: There is no "us", Carly. Now, I've been thinking, maybe there never really was.

Anthony: You get that ex-wife of yours on the phone. You tell D.A. Alexis Davis --

Ric: Anthony, you need to slow down and just come up with a strategy --

Anthony: Shut up. Where's my son?

Trevor: I had a meeting with John this afternoon.

Anthony: Where is he now?

Trevor: Scorpio was pressing him to confess and cop a plea bargain. I backed the cop off and calmed the kid down.

Anthony: You idiot. Don't you know how to turn on your radio? John got his hands on a gun, took Lulu Spencer
hostage and escaped.

Trevor: When did this happen? Is he hurt?

Ric: No, not as far as we know, no thanks to you.

Trevor: Listen, Richard, I just had a meeting with the kid.

Ric: Yeah, you just had a meeting with the kid, your client, who you left so helpless, so reckless that he hijacks
a -- a -- the mayor's car, drives off, and he takes an innocent girl hostage in the process.

Trevor: When did that happen? Did he call in?

Ric: No, as a matter of fact. The car's been abandoned. But an A.P.B. has been put out with express
instructions to use deadly force.

Anthony: My son is out there somewhere running for his life with every cop in town taking pot
shots at him.
And if John dies -- listen to meI will cut your heart out and feed it to you.

Spinelli: There is no need for dark promises of any kind. We're all very concerned about Johnny --

Maxie: What Spinelli is trying to tell you is that he only takes orders from Jason, not the Zaccharas.

Claudia: Jason's in lockup.

Maxie: Then I guess he's not available to tell Spinelli to start any computer searches for Johnny or Lulu
or anyone else.

Claudia: Does she speak for you?

Spinelli: Vixenella must know that the Jackal holds her in the highest esteem and empathizes with your fear
and concern with regards to
your vanished sibling, as we all are concerned about the well-being of --

Claudia: Ok, but wait a minute. What if -- what if she asked you to help me? Would you help me?

Maxie: Never going to happen.

Claudia: Really? Really, even if I reminded you of that conversation we had at the Crimson office?
You remember the one, Maxie,
where we found out what kind of person you really are?

Maxie: Don't even think about blackmailing me.

Spinelli: Blackmail? What has Maxinista done?

Mac: Look at it this way, Mayor. Having your car stolen from an escaping murder suspect could get
sympathy from voters.

Mayor Floyd: Commissioner, I look like an idiot and so do you. How the hell did John Zacchara get that
gun in here? And why haven't your people been able to find him?

Mac: Any luck?

Lucky: Not so far.

Mac: Look, the Mayor's not going to like Nikolas Cassadine questioning a suspect.

Lucky: Listen, I hate playing this Emily card, but that's all we have. Let's just give Nikolas a few more minutes.

Nikolas: Jason, I'm not here on behalf of the police. All I care about is Lulu. Whatever -- whatever you tell me right
now, I swear --

Jason: I can't -- I can't -- I can't help you.

Nikolas: All right, well, can you at least tell me -- what about the gun? What do you know about the gun? How --
do you know how he may have gotten it in?

Jason: No, I don't.

Nikolas: He didn't get it from you?

Jason: No, he -- no, he didn't get the gun from me.

Nikolas: Ok, you -- you came in here to speak with Johnny, right? Is that right?

Jason: Yes, I came in here to speak with Johnny. Lulu was already in here with him.

Nikolas: Do you honestly believe that she would smuggle a gun in here?

Jason: Yeah, I do. Where else is he going to get a gun from? I mean, I hear that Lulu has been near
hysterics because she's so upset about Johnny being arrested.

Nikolas: Well, if she did bring it in here, he put her up to it and then turned on her.

Jason: Well, he did drag her out of here at gunpoint. But the problem is I don't think Lulu's a hostage.
That makes heran accomplice. And that puts her in even more danger.

Nikolas: Right.

Lulu: You should have let me confess that I killed logan.

Johnny: In self defense. Logan attacked you.

Lulu: Because I literally drove him crazy. Even after I started seeing you, I let him believe that
we still had a chance when I knew we didn't.

Johnny: Logan used Maxie to upset you. He blamed everything bad thing that ever happened to
him on you.

Lulu: Don't make excuses for me.

Johnny: They're reasons, not excuses.

Lulu: I should've had a clean break. Instead, I was telling logan things he wanted to hear when
I knew it wasn't true.

Johnny: That gave him no right to come after you.

Lulu: I didn't mean to kill him.

Johnny: You had every reason to be terrified. You had just seen what he did to Maxie.

Lulu: Well, what if I was wrong the the time when I hit him with a pipe wrench? I mean, what if he really
wasn't going to hurt me?

Carly: There's no us? Is that what you say to all your wives before you leave them?

Jax: They have nothing to do with this.

Carly: You get to mention Jason or Sonny whenever you feel like it, but I can't mention that I'm wife
number five --

Jax: There's no point in fighting about the past when you weren't even a part of it.

Carly: When Courtney left you for Nikolas, you didn't fight for her. You just walked away, kind of like
the way you're walking away
from me now, the way you walked away from Skye when Brenda showed up. Can't really count
Alexis because that was a marriage
of convenience. Who the hell knows what happened with Miranda? But you married all those women, and you
promised to lovethem all, and when the going got tough, you left.

Jax: I think you're simplifying.

Carly: I haven't even mentioned Chloe or Brenda, the two women you didn't marry. But you promised to love
them forever, until what? You didn't?

Jax: Yeah, well, you know what? My brother already gave me the same lecture about my unwillingness to stay in
a marriage when it isn't working. So, thanks, but I've heard it.

Carly: So I'm as crazy as Jerry for expecting you to live up to your wedding vows? Is that what you're saying?

Jax: Ok, you know what? Perhaps I did give up a little too easily on some of my relationships. I didn't -- I didn't
fight for Courtney
until it was too late. And I was pretty dreadful to Skye. But I planned to spend the rest of my life with you.

Carly: Really?

Jax: Yes, really.

Carly: Is that why you're walking out the door?

Jax: No, I'm walking out the door because I don't want to fight about everything all the time.
I don't want to fight about the hotel --

Carly: We're partners in the hotel.

Jax: And my business associates.

Carly: Kate is the only one --

Jax: And the constant lies.

Carly: I didn't lie. I didn't lie. And you know what? It doesn't matter because you lied to me, too.

Jax: No, no I didn't.

Carly: Yeah, you did. You kissed Kate, and you didn't tell me. That's a lie by omission.

Jax: That doesn't even compare you going behind my back to Claudia Zacchara, of all people.

Carly: We talked about that. I -- I thought I was helping, Jax.

Jax: Oh, really? You thought you were helping?

Carly: Yeah.

Jax: Well, maybe in the Carly world of logic that makes sense, ok. But I refuse to keep running from crisis to crisis.
And I will not be
the second or third or nineteenth priority in your life. And you know what else I'm sick of? I am sick of our entire
relationship always
being on the line every time we have a fight.

Carly: Well, that's on you because you're always ready to walk out the door.

Jax: Well, you never notice me until you're on the verge of losing me.

Carly: That is not true.

Jax: Really? Let me -- let me tell you something. You create a crisis. You get caught. Then you're really sorry
and --and we make
up and everything is going great for a while. But then it just -- I deserve better and so do you.

Carly: Does that make it easier for you to walk out the door, by blaming everything on me?

Jax: Call it whatever you want.

Carly: Jax. Jax. Jax.

Nikolas: So you saw everything. You saw Johnny drag Lulu out of h

Jason: Yes, I saw it all. Lulu was terrified. That's why I -- I don't think it was planned.

Nikolas: Well, if it wasn't, that means they don't have an escape route, right? They're going to
get caught eventually.

Jason: Yeah, possibly.

Nikolas: Do you think the police have enough on Lulu to charge her as an accomplice?

Jason: I don't know what that freak -- I don't know what the cops have. But the longer Lulu's out there,
the more danger she's in.

Nikolas: Do you think he would ever hurt her?

Jason: No, I don't, but these idiots have orders to use deadly force.

Nikolas: Right.

Jason: If Lulu's in the wrong place at the wrong time --

Nikolas: Right. All right, I appreciate your help. Thanks.

Lucky: What did he say?

Nikolas: Not much.

Mac: Did you ask him about the gun?

Nikolas: Yes, I did.

Mayor Floyd: What is going on over here? Why was Nikolas Cassadine allowed
to question the suspect?

Nikolas: Why did you allow Johnny Zacchara to take off in your car with my sister in it?

Mayor Floyd: Excuse me?

Mac: Mayor, come here.

Lucky: You were in there for quite a while. Jason must have said something.

Nikolas: Well, Lucky, am I talking to my brother right now or to a cop?

Lucky: You know I don't give a damn about my badge when it comes to Lulu.

Nikolas: Ok, Jason didn't arrange for the gun. He thinks Lulu is in on it.

Lucky: Lulu was terrified. I saw her face. It was real.

Nikolas: Yeah, ok.

[Phone rings]

Lucky: I've got to take this.

Nikolas: All right.

Nadine: Hey, I heard about your sister. How can I help?

Leyla: Most of us wear scrubs in the hospital

Matt: Yeah, well, all I did was take the wrong woman to dinner.

Leyla: Nadine did that? What on earth did you say to her?

Matt: Yeah, everything was going fine until some report came on the news about some girl being held
hostage down at the police department and -- jumped up. Her fusili ended up all over my shirt.

Leyla: That's because the hostage is Lulu Spencer.

Matt: So? Was she shot?

Leyla: Lulu is Nikolas Cassadine's little sister.

Matt: Ok, and so I deserve to smell like pasta sauce all night long now?

Leyla: No, Nadine just cares deeply about people. That's all.

Matt: Well, then she should be careful or find a new line of work. Caring is just asking to get hurt.

Claudia: Maxie's not quite the little angel that you think she is.

Maxie: Spinelli knows better than anyone how messed up I am, and we're still friends. I'm not going to let
you ruin that.

Claudia: Ok, well, that's your prerogative. But we are wasting time here, and it would be a lot easier for everyone
if you would just run the trace for me.

Spinelli: The Jackal is most confused, not to mention alarmed, by the -- the -- by the undercurrents of --

Maxie: I'm not going to be blackmailed, ok? You better listen very closely, Spinelli, because it's pretty bad.

Spinelli: Ok, look, the Jackal assures Maxinista nothing that she could ever --

Maxie: Claudia showed up at the crimson offices one day and offered me $10,000 to sleep with her brother, Johnny.
She said I'd get another $10,000 if Lulu would walk in on it.

Spinelli: But you -- you turned her down, right?

Claudia: [Chuckles]

Maxie: I took the deal.

Spinelli: Well, did you succeed in your somewhat mercenary seduction?

Maxie: I probably would have if this whole mess with Logan hadn't happened.

Spinelli: Why would you agree to such a soul-killing arrangement?

Maxie: Because $20,000 is a lot of money to me.

Spinelli: But considering the repercussions, not only for the fair Lulu and the mob prince, but Maxinista's
self-pride --

Claudia: Spinelli, you are missing the point.

Maxie: Because he's too sweet and loyal to think like you.

Claudia: Ok, well let me put it to you this way. Maxie here was willing to sleep with my brother for money, ok?
That means she's for sale to the highest bidder.

Ric: Well, I guess if I were a good son, then I would stay here and help you out, but unfortunately,
I have things to take care of.

Trevor: Richard, it's time to work on the spin. I will meet yoat the police station.

Ric: Don't bother, Trevor. I've got it from here on out. Thank you.

Trevor: Don't you even think for a second I'm going to turn John over to you --

Anthony: Enough already. Will you please stop fighting and get Johnny out of this? Because if
anything happens tohim, you're both going to pay.

Ric: Reality, Anthony, please. Just join us for a minute, ok? Because the truth of the matter, all threats aside,
in orderfor your son to stayalive,I've got to stay alive.

Anthony: [Chuckles] You've got one treacherous kid there, a little dim as well. He really doesn't seem to understand
that if Johndies, you both die with him.

Trevor: Now you be quiet for a minute. For years now, I have been cleaning up after Johnny while you, old man, you sat
in the corner tied up in your straight jacket drooling on yourself. I did the best I could to teach him everything he needs
to know.

Anthony: Yeah, so you could take over. But I fooled you, Trev. I got better.

Trevor: Yeah, and a lot of good that did. You know something? I could give a damn how many threats you make
because if anything bad happens to Johnny, it is on you.

Lulu: I just keep thinking about the night I hit him with the wrench. I was wrong then. He was not the
text message killer. What if I was wrong again?

Johnny: I was there, Lulu. Remember? He had his hand over your mouth.

Lulu: Yeah, to keep me from screaming. He wanted to explain.

Johnny: Ok, will you listen to what you just said? You had just found a whole string of evidence
that tied Logan to the killings.
You thought hehad just killed your best friend. You had every reason to think you were next.

Lulu: Well, he loved me. He was desperate for me to love him back. Desperate people make mistakes.

Johnny: Ok, but, come on, you had just seen what he did to Maxie. He wasn't a victim in either situation.
He attacked Maxie, busted
through my door with an axe -- what were you supposed to do?

Lulu: Are you saying Logan deserved to die?

Johnny: I'm saying you had every right to defend yourself.

Lulu: Well, maybe you can kill someone and not feel bad about it. I can't.
