[Cheers and applause]

Eli: Thank you, thank you. This next song I am going to dedicate to a very special lady. I think she knows who she is.

[Cheers and applause]

Eli: Tell me her name 'cause I really want to see her you tell me her game 'cause I need exit strategy oh, what a tragedy but I know she's not what's best for me and I know she'll cause me harm and I know she'd rather fly away to someone else's arms oh, it's true the world wants a mystery but I need to know one thing what's Victoria's secret tell me if the clothes she wears will expose all of my weakness woman, I just can't let go 'til I know Victoria's secret whispering a love song in my ear Victoria's secret will haunt me today do I really need to know her name you show me that face is it really what it claims to be you show me that brain is it really based in fantasy oh, it's barely yes, she seems to get the best of me of what little there is left and it seems that she's controlling me like a robot in a trance and it's true we don't learn from history but I've got to know one thing what's Victoria's secret tell me if the skin she bares will expose all of my weakness woman I just can't let go 'til I know Victoria's secret whispering a love song in my ear Victoria's secret will haunt me today do I really need to know her where will I find peace of mind in a photograph of holidays that little girl from yesterday what was that name did I ever really know her what's Victoria's secret tell me if the clothes she wears will expose all of my weakness woman I just can't let go 'til I know Victoria's secret whispering a love song in my ear Victoria's secret will haunt me today did I ever really know her

Singers: Victoria's secret

Eli: Will haunt me today will you ever really know her

Singers: Victoria's secret

Eli: Will haunt me today can we ever really know her name

[Cheers and applause]

Robin: Oh, no, this is war.

Lourdes: Look at this sweet-faced little boy. It's crazy to think that he grew up to be an evil Zacchara.

Sal: No cute kiddie picture changes who this guy is, where he came from, what's in his blood.

Johnny: Was Professor Siegel aware of how your family's been hurt by the Zaccharas?

Sal: Siegel lived here for decades and watched the Zaccharas come to power. They probably threatened him or forced him to teach their kid how to play. Or maybe the professor was just such a nice guy, he wanted to be a good influence. You know, either way, it's ancient history and I'm done talking about it. What do I owe you for my sister's extra lesson?

Johnny: It's on the house.

Sal: Thanks, Joe. Lourdes, let's go. We've imposed on these nice people long enough. Come on.

Lulu: Talk about surreal. I mean, can you believe that Lourdes was obsessing over your family?

Johnny: And why shouldn't she? The Zaccharas destroyed her family.

Spinelli: Thanks, Marty. The e-mail just dropped. Yeah, thanks. Um, noble Marty, the front desk manager at the Metro Court, kindly agreed to send security footage taken on the day in question at the restaurant.

Jason: All right, you got it, play it. There you go. You're telling me that's Karpov's lawyer?

Spinelli: And Mr. Sir. I'll fast forward to see how long the meeting lasted.

Jason: You know what, just stop it.

[Jason sighs]

Jason: Ok, go ahead. This is where Diane came in.

Spinelli: Right.

Jason: Keep going.

Spinelli: Now it appears Mr. Sir is heading to Vixenella's table.

Jason: Stop it, I've seen enough.

Spinelli: Yeah, ok. This is troubling, yes, but it's not necessarily the conspiracy it looks like, right? Surely, Mr. Sir would not attempt to undermine you while you were being unfairly incarcerated.

[Knock at door]

Claudia: We need to talk.

Jason: I don't think you're going to tell me anything I don't already know.

Anna: Why are we waiting here for Patrick, right next to Eli's limo? The last thing I want to do is to see that jackass again.

Robin: Because I, uh, I feel safe here. You know, those Eli Love fans are crazy. They can't back here, so -

[Crowd murmuring]

Eli: All right, guys, thanks a lot. See you next year, yeah? All right.

Fan: Great concert, Eli.

Second fan: Thank you. Thank you.

Eli: Did you like the show?

Anna: I think your girlfriend liked it, yeah. But she looks kind of old for you. What is she, 24 or something?

Eli: Oh, you've got to be kidding. That's just a little bit of onstage fun. I hardly know the girl.

Anna: [Mimics Eli] Onstage fun.

Gunman: Comply, Mr. Love, there's no need for this to get ugly.

Eli: Are you freaking kidding me?

Anna: Aah!

[Gunman groans]

Anna: Aah!

Eli: Oh, that was amazing.

Jax: Well, thanks for bringing that "Couture" sample insert.

Giselle: Well, just make sure if your partner has any notes, she gets them to me within the next week. You must know by now how Kate likes to dawdle.

Jax: By the way, I spoke with warren yesterday.

Giselle: Mm-hmm.

Jax: I suggested that besides the inserts, that we should get "Couture's" inside cover ad space for "Crimson" for the first two months. He thought it was a great idea.

Giselle: Well, Warren is my publisher. I'm happy to do whatever he asks.

Jax: Even though it's the last thing you want to do?

Giselle: Even then.

Jax: Let's put our cards on the table, shall we?

Giselle: Mm-hmm.

Jax: I know that you would love nothing more than to see Kate and "Crimson" fail in the most humiliating way possible, right?

Giselle: Kate and I have a long history that has nothing to do with you.

Jax: I agree. It's the present that concerns me. You see, I'm the main investor in "Crimson," which means Kate's success is important to me. So why don't you and I figure out a way to make Kate's win your triumph, too?

Giselle: I like the way you think, Mr. Jacks.

Jax: I was hoping you'd say that. Now we just need to iron out the details. Well, Carly, I didn't expect to see you back.

Carly: I am -- not to be possessive. I'll just make myself comfortable while you guys finish your meeting. I came prepared to wait.

Jax: My wife and I are having a bit of a disagreement on the concept, when "no" means "no."

Giselle: Your wife strikes me as the type of woman who doesn't have "no" in her vocabulary. In any event, Carly seems to have decisively won this round. Enjoy your legs.

Nikolas: I got your message. What's so urgent? I just saw you at the clinic.

Nadine: [Whispers] He's perfectly positioned, so come on, let me have it. Don't hold back.

Nikolas: [Whispers] What-- what are you talking about?

Nadine: Just yell at me. Tell me I'm going back on my word for asking for a salary or something. Just go.

Nikolas: That's ridiculous. Why would I do that?

Nadine: No, I don't need money, but I need Matt to think that I need the money so he'll cut me in on the drug scam.

Nikolas: Didn't you already try that?

Nadine: Yeah, but it wasn't definitive. I need proof.

Nikolas: Well, how are you going to get it?

Nadine: I'm going undercover.

Nikolas: [Normal voice] That is the dumbest thing that I've ever heard.

Jerry: It's a pleasure to finally meet you, Mr. Karpov.

Karpov: And you as well. Or should I say, all of you -- Mr. Craig, Mr. Broslan. I found Mr. Moreau particularly intriguing.

Jerry: Really, and why is that?

Karpov: I have started moving shipments in this harbor, cargo of a very unique nature. And I'd like you to assist me in the realization of my endeavor.

Jerry: Well, you see, my -- my services come at a very high premium, Mr. Karpov.

Karpov: I understand that you are very efficient and very discrete. Those qualities, I'm willing to pay dearly for.

Jerry: I assume you know what you're inviting by running resources through the harbor. Port Charles is mob infested. There are so many warring factions that citizens literally trip over them every day. You poke a stick at the wrong person, they might rear up and strike.

Karpov: That won't be a problem for me. I've got Port Charles' biggest gun on my payroll.

Jason: I'm going to talk to Claudia, ok? I want you to go upstairs and you keep looking for information. And do not tell anybody what you are doing, and yes, I mean Maxie.

[Claudia laughs]

Claudia: It doesn't take a genius like Spinelli to figure out what he's working on. You want confirmation about whether or not Sonny's working with Karpov.

Jason: Wouldn't you?

Claudia: Yeah, absolutely. I'm here to save you some time and some trouble.

Jason: Well, you know something?

Claudia: Mm-hmm, I was at the curtain restaurant when Sonny was there meeting with Karpov. I asked him about it, and he confirmed they were in fact conducting business.

Jason: And you just decided to tell me this right now? That's -- that's nice. Is that why you're here?

Claudia: You helped me out more than once. I wanted to return the favor. There's a lot more to this story than you know, Jason, and you need to hear it before you put a bullet in Sonny's head.

Carly: Mm, that's a good one. You don't want some?

Jax: No, thanks.

Carly: More for me. They're right here if you want some.

Jax: Well, I've got to give you a little credit, Carly. You're really hot right now.

Carly: You inspire me.

Jax: Well, I'm flattered. Well, enjoy your strawberries.

Carly: You're really going to watch television right now?

Jax: Mm-hmm, it relaxes me after a long day of work.

Carly: Yeah, but I can think of other things that relax you.

Jax: I'm sure you think so, but I just don't want to play anymore,

Carly. I'm not going to let you seduce me back into a marriage that isn't working for me.

Nadine: Look, I deserve be compensated for all those hours I'm putting in at the clinic.

Nikolas: [Whispers] Stop arguing with me, please.

Nadine: Why can't you just pay me? It's not like you don't have buckets of cash lying around.

Nikolas: This is absurd. I'm not doing it.

Nadine: Oh, no, I will not let you walk away from me. Where are you going? Where are you going? Stop -- no -- I'm not letting this go. Come on.

Nikolas: Are you out of your mind?

Nadine: No, I won't let this go. You were brilliant! He bought every word.

Jerry: And who exactly do you hold in your pocket, Mr. Karpov?

Karpov: I'd rather not just say for the moment.

Jerry: Would you be willing to share the exact nature of your business?

Karpov: Counterfeit pharmaceuticals.

Jerry: Ah, lots of money to be made there.

Karpov: Exactly. I'm expanding into the states and I want to base my operation out of Port Charles.

Jerry: And what exactly do you want from me?

Karpov: You would coordinate lendings and distribution for a substantial salary, of course.

Jerry: Of course.

Karpov: And if you prove to live up to your reputation, I'd be willing to cut you in on future profits. Interested?

[Cell phone rings]

Jerry: Oh, excuse me.

Karpov: Take it. I have a call to make myself.

Jerry: Jerry Jacks. Alexis, darling, I was just thinking about you. Oh, come on, your skepticism moves me. Yes -- no -- yes, I am trying to tell you the truth, I mean, at least half of it.

Sam: Hello?

Karpov: Hello, Ms. McCall?

Jerry's voice: I'm trying to -- yes, I'm trying to -

Sam: Hi, Mr. Karpov. I wasn't expecting to hear from you so soon.

Karpov: You made an excellent impression. I'd very much like you to accept the job as my new captain.

Sam: Great, yes, absolutely, I accept.

Karpov: I will let you know the details of my first shipment. Welcome to the Karpov organization.

Sam: Thank you, sir. Oh, my god, I got the job.

Lucky: Whoopee.

Sam: Whoopee? What are you talking about, Lucky, this is a great news. I think I may have something already.

Lucky: What do you mean?

Sam: Well, when I was talking to him, I recognized a voice in the background. I mean, I can't say positively, but I am almost sure that I know who it is.

Claudia: When I confronted Sonny about his meeting with Karpov, he not only defended his actions, he stressed that his association with Karpov would not hurt you in any way.

Jason: You didn't -- you didn't tell me all this when I was in lock-up and you were desperate for my help. You didn't step up and say Ric was right when he laid the story on me. Why are you doing it right now?

Claudia: I considered warning you before, ok? But Sonny practically blackmailed me into keeping my mouth shut. And to be honest with you, I took him at his word. But for what it's worth, I think he was being completely honest and telling the truth when he said he didn't mean you any harm.

Jason: None of this concerns you, so I suggest you make a smart choice and you stay out of it.

Claudia: Fine, I just thought you deserved to know. You know, um, do you remember when Spinelli was rambling? He was delirious with fever and he was going on about the weird dynamic between you and Sonny? He spoke a lot of truth. Sonny's going to back you into a corner, whether he's conscious of it or not. And, Jason, you're going to have to make a choice here. You're going to have to be Sonny's friend, or you're going to have to react like a bona fide mob boss. Step up, do whatever it takes no matter what the cost. Good luck with that one.

Johnny: I'm not stupid. I've always known that my family profits from other peoples' pain. That the power and the money, it comes at the expense of real human begs. But I've just seen it from afar. I've never had to stare at it like that, right in the face.

Lulu: You're not responsible for what your father or Trevor have done.

Johnny: Ok, but I never lifted a finger to change anything. I was too busy jockeying for position.

[Johnny sighs]

Johnny: All right, that's it. When this is over -

Lulu: No, but we don't know if this will ever be over or if we'll ever be able to go back home because of what I did.

Johnny: No regrets, Lulu. Hey, Sal was right. What he said, it just proves that the way I was living my life before was wrong. But we're going to change that, together. I love you.

Logan's voice: You'll never get over me.
