Robin: Do you mind if I join you? The baby's really craving french toast.

Anna: You don't have to use the baby as an excuse. I'm not going to fight with you. Sit down.

Robin: That's good, because i wasn't sure that you even wanted to speak to me after what I did last night.

Anna: You're my daughter, and i love you. That being said, setting me up to save eli from a staged kidnapping was not only unnecessary, but it was probably one of the more humiliating moments of my life.

Sonny: You got nothing to be embarrassed about, max.

Max: Try telling that to milo. He looks worse than I do. Oh, god.

Diane: Sonny, I cannot file these contracts without --

[Max sighs]

Diane: Max.

Max: Hi.

Diane: What happened to your face?

Max: Oh, don't worry. It looks a lot worse than it really is.

Diane: It looks like you've taken a brutal beating. Was this karpov's men?

Max: Not exactly.

Diane: Well, please tell me it wasn't jason's people, because a civil war even between gangsters is too horrible to contemplate.

Sonny: You seriously think jason would set max up like that?

Diane: I don't know. I certainly hope not. But in light of present circumstances, it might be wise if you actually discussed this with jason.

Sonny: Max, tell her how you got hurt.

Max: I'd rather not, boss.

Sonny: What do you mean you'd rather not? You and diane are involved and you always tell me you've got to be honest in relationships. Go ahead and tell her.

Max: It's just that I'm not supposed to talk about the jobs I do for you.

Sonny: Well, I will make an exception in this case.

Max: I really wish you wouldn'T.

Sonny: Max, tell --

Diane: Max, just tell me.

Max: I got my butt kicked by a grandma.

Carly: I can't think of a better way to start the day.

Jax: No, no. I meant what I said last night. I'm not going to let you win.

Sam: Have you seen lucky?

Nadine: Uh, not yet. When he gets here, I'll bring him back.

Sam: Ok, thank you.

Nadine: Isn't all this sneaking around getting kind of exhausting?

Sam: Yeah, a little bit. But I think it's going to be worth it as long as we can catch whoever's supplying the counterfeit drugs.

Nadine: So you really think this karpov guy is behind it?

Sam: I don't know. I'm definitely not going to know for sure until I can check the freighter and see what the cargo is, but it really is the only lead we have.

Nadine: Maybe not. I'm doing some undercover work of my own.

Nikolas: No, you're not.

Nadine: Matt hunter could be the key to bring down the entire counterfeit drug operation. As a doctor, he has access to plenty of medication.

Nikolas: So? The same could be said about anyone on the staff at the hospital.

Nadine: Yeah, but I didn't hear anyone else talking about illegal drugs on the phone.

Nikolas: [Scoffs] That doesn't prove that he's involved in distribution.

Nadine: Which is exactly why i need to go undercover, so I can get the proof we need.

Nikolas: That's ridiculous -- that's a ridiculous idea.

Nadine: How much do we actually know about matt hunter except for what he's disclosed on his fellowship application? We don't even know he's telling the truth.

Nikolas: Well, if that's the case, then the man's a sociopath and you shouldn't be putting yourself in danger like that.

Nadine: Um, sam's the one who's about go work for a russian mobster.

Sam: No, no, no, no. I know how to take care of myself.

Nadine: So do I.

Nikolas: I -- I would prefer that neither one of you were involved in this. But I'm going to go ahead d guess that there's nothing I can do to stop you.

Nadine: There's nothing you can do to stop me, either.

Lucky: Shh. This is one sorry excuse for an undercover operation. I'm sorry, but anybody could have walked in and overheard you talking about the case.

Nikolas: Nadine and I, we're going to go up front and -- i don't know -- see who's coming and see who's going. Let's go.

Sam: I missed you last night.

Lucky: You know, I think it's time maybe we rethink this whole breakup plan.

Carly: You know me, jax. I'm not going to give up until you give in.

Jax: Well, that is not going to happen.

Carly: Well, you're wasting your time to fight me because i see the way you look at me. I know you still want me.

Jax: Wanting you and wanting to be in a dysfunctional relationship with you are two entirely different things.

Carly: I wouldn't be here fighting for you if our marriage wasn't important to me. I know I haven't made it a priority, but that's going to change. And I am sorry if I have neglected you.

Jax: Look, I'm not insensitive. I know you struggled with what happened to michael. But grief isn't the only reason you stay embroiled with sonny and jason. It's where you want to be.

Carly: This isn't about sonny and jason. It's not.

Jax: No.

Carly: So don't make it out them. This is out us, ok? And I am notoing anywhere until you believe that I want to fix this.

Johnny: Where the hell have you been?

Lulu: I was getting food. I told you.

Johnny: Yeah, I figured you were going to go to the hot dog vendor on the corner. I didn't know you were going to the grocery store.

Lulu: I got sick of takeout. How does chicken casserole sound?

Johnny: You're going to cook?

Lulu: I thought we could do it together.

Johnny: I barely know how to boil water.

Lulu: How did you get this far in life without ever having to cook for yourself?

Johnny: I had servants.

Lulu: Oh. Well, that would explain why you never do the dishes or make the bed.

Johnny: And what about you? When did you learn how to cook?

Lulu: I earned a sunshine badge mixing cereals together to make trail mix. And when my grandma lesley made meals, I licked the spoons.

Johnny: So you don't actually know how to cook chicken casserole?

Lulu: No, but I found the recipe in a magazine. Here. It has directions. How hard can that be?

Diane: Anna devane attacked you?

Max: She thought me and milo were trying to kidnap eli love.

Diane: Well, how did she get that impression?

Max: Well, we were wearing masks, and we tried to grab him as he got into his limo.

Diane: I assume they did this under your orders.

Sonny: Uh, well, robin scorpio is an old friend of mine. This character, eli love, was treating her mom badly, and robin wanted this guy to see anna kicking butt.

Diane: Specifically max's butt?

Sonny: I -- wait. Max and milo, they were just doing what robin told them to do, because I told them to do whatever robin told them to do. And robin's happy. I'm happy. Now, I'm going to give max and milo a bonus, and they're going to be very happy. And right now, we don't -- we don't need to hear any lectures, right, max?

Diane: That's easy for you to say. You're not the one whose face was beaten to a bloody pulp -- by a granny.

Max: It looks a lot worse than it really is.

Diane: Don't try to put a good face on this. Not that you could, because it's easy to see that you are hurting.

Max: My neck is a little sore.

Diane: Would a massage make you feel any better?

Max: You brought the table?

Diane: Of course. It's out in the car. Why don't you go start setting up while I finish with -- finish with sonny?

Max: All right.

Sonny: You got a massage table?

Diane: Max appreciates it. You know, I just might get one as a wedding gift for you and kate.

Sonny: Don't bother.

Diane: All right. Back to these contracts. You need to look them over and make sure that they reflect --

Sonny: Uh, diane? Diane? Sit down. Does jason know about my deal with karpov?

Anna: See, there was nothing worse than a past-her-prime spy buying into a staged scenario designed to help boost her self confidence.

Robin: That wasn't the only reason I did it.

Anna: Well, I don't believe that you seriously wanted sonny's men to kidnap eli and -- and break his kneecaps.

Robin: That would have been a perk.

Anna: Yeah. But violence is never the answer, ever. It's a necessary evil in some occupations, however.

Robin: Ok. I admit that I wanted eli to see you in action. Because I don't want you to think that being a grandmother changes who you are. You're still the same incredibly sexy, super spy that you've always been.

Anna: Thank you. I appreciate the thought. But it's unnecessary. You know, eli may have bruised my ego, but I'm certainly not going to let him undermine my self confidence.

Robin: Good. Well, I'm sorry that I went overboard. I just wanted to remind you that you're my hero.

Anna: As long as you believe in me, I don't give a damn what eli thinks.

Ric: I assume that this invitation means you're still onboard with my plan to exonerate your brother.

Claudia: That depends. Are you going to tell sonny that jason knows he's working for karpov?

Johnny: Can't we just cook these beans with the ends on?

Lulu: The recipe says you have to break them off.

Johnny: Why?

Lulu: I don't know. Maybe they're poisonous.

Johnny: Well, only one way to find out.

Lulu: No, don't -- don't -- don't -- don't -- don'T. If you get sick, I'm going to be stuck making this by myself.

Johnny: This cooking was your idea, missy.

Lulu: Yeah, I thought it would be fun to do it together.

Johnny: Well, the kitchen in this place isn't exactly built for two.

Lulu: The kitchen is small, but it has all the essentials.

Johnny: Except for counter space.

Lulu: It could be fun to improvise.

Johnny: If you say so.

Lulu: It is not that bad.

Johnny: You know, at this rate, I think we'll be ready to have chicken casserole for breakfast.

Lulu: Oh, my gosh. I will help you break off the ends. Just let me finish cutting up these carrots.

Jax: Ok, this isn't funny. I've a meeting to get to.

Carly: Ok. Let's go.

Jax: I'm not going to show up at the meeting with my wife handcuffed to my side, am I?

Carly: Well, then I guess you have to reschedule.

Jax: You know, I realize that you probably think that this is really cute and everything, but I have a lot of money riding on this deal, so --

Carly: What's more important, business or your marriage?

Jax: You know, one of the reasons our marriage is in trouble is your belief that because I don't ask you to leave the room every time I discuss business, you somehow think that my work is unimportant. And you couldn't be more wrong. So, you need to take this a little more seriously.

Carly: I was just trying to make a point that I want to be with you. I do think what you do is important, and I do take it seriously. And I respect you. And I won't keep you here against your will.

Jax: Ok, then un-cuff me.

Carly: I will. As soon as I find the key.

Ric: Since when do you care if sonny and jason are best of friends or mortal enemies?

Claudia: Karpov is the wild card in this entire equation. There's just no telling whether he's going to respect the boundaries that are being set.

Ric: Well, there's always a chance that karpov could go back on his word. Take sonny out along with jason.

Claudia: Is that what you're hoping for? That jason will kill sonny for betraying him?

Ric: If that were my plan, would it bother you?

Sonny: It's obvious you don't approve of my deal with karpov.

Diane: I am concerned.

Sonny: Concerned enough to tell jason?

Diane: As you pointed out, our conversations are covered under attorney-client privilege.

Sonny: So you haven't told jason?

Diane: No.

Sonny: And you can't tell me if maybe, you know, somebody else might have said something to him?

Diane: Neither jason nor any of his associates have ever mentioned the name andrei karpov to me.

Sonny: Good.

Diane: Which means that there is still time for a full disclosure. Pcpd visitor log indicates that you went to see jason shortly before his release.

Sonny: I offered to help jason. He turned me down.

Diane: Well, I'm sorry to hear that.

Sonny: You know, he's going to have to -- you know -- he's going to run the organization the way he thinks fit, and if i see he's making a mistake, i can't do anything about it. So he's just going to have to fix it on his own.

Diane: I just assumed that, had jason been receptive to your overture, you would have told him about andrei karpov. So, with that objective in mind, might I suggest a meeting between you and jason?

Sonny: No, no, no. Listen. There's -- there's nothing to discuss. Jason's doing what he thinks is right, and so am I.

Chip: Eli. We don't have time for this. Ok? We need to be on the road now.

Eli: I don't care. I'm not going anywhere till i see anna.

Agent: Or you can call her from the bus.

Eli: She won't answer her phone. I have to talk to her in person.

Chip: If we don't leave right now, then you're going to have to deal with the fallout on this.

Eli: I don't care. I'm not going anywhere till i see her, all right? Epiphany. Is robin here?

Epiphany: Dr. Scorpio's not in yet.

Eli: When -- when do you expect her?

Epiphany: Are you sick?

Eli: Am I sick?

Epiphany: Do you require medical attention? Because if not, I suggest you get your butt back on that elevator and stop wasting my time.

Agent: Come on, eli. You heard her. Let's go.

Eli: Look, look. Robin's the only one who can convince anna.

Epiphany: That you're an ass? I think that she's figured that all out on her own.

Eli: What is wrong with everybody? So -- so I freaked out that she was a grandma. She's obviously proved she's way more than your average grandmother. I mean, you should have seen her last night. She took down a couple of armed guards with just a couple of punches and kicks. She was -- she was incredible.

Chip: Yeah, and she made it painfully clear she wanted nothing to do with you. Now, let's get on the road, where there's plenty more groupies where they came from.

Eli: I'm not going anywhere without anna, all right?

[Elevator dings]

Eli: Anna. Uh --

Anna: What?

Eli: I -- I want to talk to you.

Anna: I've heard everything you need to say.

Eli: No. No, not this, all right?

Anna: What?

Eli: I want you in my life.

Nikolas: I understand that you want to help me. I st think there's better ways to go about it than digging dr. Hunter for information.

Nadine: He's the only lead I've got.

Nikolas: Yeah. Listen. I want you to cross check the batch numbers to the drugs here at the clinic with the health department's list of placebos.

Nadine: They have been checked and rechecked. And for the record, paperwork is not my idea of helping.

Nikolas: What are you doing here? Your shift doesn't start for another hour.

Matt: Yeah. Well, I'd rather be here dispensing aspirin than watching patrick drake, god's gift to neurosurgery, cut a man's head open for no apparent reason other than just to satisfy his overblown ego.

Nikolas: Dr. Drake is an excellent surgeon. I doubt he would perform a procedure on a patient if it wasn't actually necessary.

Matt: Until you have gone to medical school and examined the patient in question, I don't think you're qualified to weigh in on the best course of treatment.

Nikolas: Oh. Well, as a -- as a former patient of dr. Drake, I actually am qualified to speak on his character, as well as his skills as a surgeon, which I think are unparalleled. So instead of trying to compete with him, I suggest that you try and learn something from him. I mean, otherwise, what's the point of me paying you to be re?

Nadine: I bet right now you're wondering if working for nikolas cassadine is worth the money. Believe me, I wonder the same thing myself sometimes.

Sam: If you came here to warn me again that this plan is dangerous, save your breath, lucky. I'm not changing my mind.

Lucky: I'm not trying to change your mind.

Sam: Ok, but you still hate the idea that I'm going undercover.

Lucky: No, it's that I hate what it means, us pretending to break up.

Sam: Ok.

Lucky: I miss you.

Sam: It will be over soon. I promise.

Lucky: But I need you now. Especially with lulu somewhere still out there with Johnny.
