Johnny: I'm no doctor, but it seems to me that what you're going through is post-traumatic stress. You know, your mind hasn't yet caught up with what happened, and it takes a while for everything to just sync up. But I'll tell you as often as you need to hear it. Logan's death was an accident. You were defending yourself.
Lulu: Logan was out of his mind that night, but he was perfectly sane all the nights leading up to it. All the mixed signals that i gave him, the times that i outright lied about my feelings for him -- if I had just been honest, Logan would be alive. You wouldn't be accused of his murder. We wouldn't be on the run. Why wasn't I just honest?
[Knock on door]
Johnny: Should I get that? I don't have to.
Lulu: Has to be Sal or Lourdes.
Lourdes: Joe, are you in there?
Lulu: It's ok. Go get it.
Lourdes: Hi, sorry to bother you, but Sal needs a hand. He needs to move something.
Johnny: Now's not the best time, Lourdes.
Lourdes: Not to be pushy or anything, but it seems to be better for that Sal considers you a friend, he doesn't question, rather than to have him wondering why you never leave this apartment.
Lulu: Lourdes is right. Go help Sal. I'll be fine.
Johnny: Will you do me a favor, and stay here until I get back?
Lulu: I don't need a babysitter. Out, both of you.
Lourdes: Sorry to drag him away.
Johnny: I won't long.
Logan's voice: All you care about is Johnny. You never gave a damn about me.
Lulu: No!
Jason: Yeah?
Cody: You said to let you know if I heard anything more about Karpov.
Jason: I'm listening.
Cody: Karpov's been to Sonny Corinthos' house twice that I know of . I figured you need proof.
Jason: Sonny's front door is invisible from the street. These were taken from inside the fence.
Cody: I've got experience with recon and surveillance.
Jason: You know you're risking your life, right? For what? You expect to be paid for this or does somebody else pay you, like Karpov? Did he send you to turn me against Sonny?
Robin: Believe me, the last thing I want to do is poke my nose into your personal life.
Anna: Really? Since when?
Robin: I'm trying here, ok?
Anna: Yeah, ok, sure. Just go ahead, poke away. You know, I don't have anything to be ashamed of, really.
Robin: Good, then I think it's important to point out, coming from someone that loves you very much, you were just hurt by Eli very recently, whether you want to admit it or not. And Noah, well, happens to look a lot like him, and not even five minutes later, you're getting hot and heavy with him. I mean, it just kind of seems like a rebound.
Anna: I think that I've always been attracted to noah, and that I kind of just got waylaid by this whole Eli, rock and roll scenario.
Robin: That's a bit convenient.
Anna: It's kind of inconvenient, really, because that worthless detour I took with Eli, I could have actually been spending time with Noah and getting to know him. I mean, think about it, Robin. He's kind of perfect for me. He's handsome. He's smart. He is wry, funny. He's a survivor. He's much better for me, and we get each other. Plus, we have you and patrick in common.
Robin: Well, that part weirds me out a little bit.
Anna: Yeah, I know it's creepy.
Robin: But you know what? If you're happy, I'm happy.
Anna: Really? Oh, thank God. Come here.
Patrick: This is that file I wanted you to take a look at. It's more your specialty than mine.
Noah: Come on, come on, knock it off.
Patrick: What?
Noah: The suspense, it's killing me. Come on, I know yohave some judgment about anna and my relationship, so come on. Let's hear it.
Patrick: You actually want to hear what I think about your love life?
Noah: No, but it's like a 900-pound gorilla standing between us, so come on. Bring it on. Let's hear it.
Patrick: Ok. I think anna's amazing. I get why you're attracted to her.
Noah: But?
Patrick: But dad, she's not ordinary. She's a spy, for God's sake, and she -- she gives new meaning to the word "independent," and I'm afraid you're biting off more than you can chew right when you finally got your life back on track.
Noah: So you think that I'm going to fall for Anna hard, and she's going to fall for me, and consequently, I'm going to, what, dive back into the bottle? Is that it?
Patrick: Well --
Noah: Well, let me just set your mind at ease. My sobriety is my responsibility, ok? It's not yours, it's not Anna's.
Patrick: Ok.
Noah: Really?
Patrick: Hey, your life, your choice. If you choose Anna, I wish you well.
Noah: Well, I'll take that wish. Thank you, son.
Patrick: You're welcome, dad.
Kate: Ok, great, so what do you think? We should digest what we discussed and then maybe meet together again in a week or so and compare notes?
Nikolas: Yeah.
Kate: See how the clinic can best utilize "Crimson."
Nikolas: Yeah, that'd be fine. I mean, all this is quite unexpected. I appreciate it. Thank you.
Kate: Well, it's my privilege.
Sam: Hey, hi.
Kate: Hi. Sam: I hope I'm -- I'm not interrupting anything.
Kate: Oh, no.
Nikolas: No.
Kate: Nikolas and I are done actually, for now.
Sam: Wow, that's quite a rock.
Kate: Oh, yes, it is. I like it.
Sam: I -- I suppose congratulations are in order.
Kate: Sonny and I are getting married in September.
Sam: Great. That's good. I -- I hope it works out.
Kate: Mm-hmm. And do you have doubts, too?
Sam: No, I'm just saying that he's a complicated guy.
Kate: Mm-hmm, he is.
Sam: You probably already know that, though.
Kate: Yes, I do. Complications have been considered and accepted.
Sam: Good. Kate: Ok, so I'll see you soon.
Nikolas: Ok.
Kate: Thanks. Bye.
Sam: Ouch, I almost warned her about Sonny. Oops.
Nikolas: What do you mean, "warned her"?
Sam: Well, I'm just saying, you know, being married to Sonny is sort of like being married to Carly, but hey, not my problem, thank God. Actually, I came here to tell you that I think I found a suspect in the counterfeit drug ring.
Nikolas: Holy God, please don't say Matt Hunter. Please don't say Matt Hunter.
Sam: No, I won't. I'm going to say Jerry Jacks.
Nikolas: All right, fill me in.
Sam: Ok, I was checking out this warehouse on division street. I wanted to see if there was any suspicious activity, and who should walk up but Jerry? And we both lied about the reasons that we were there. He said he was looking to buy a warehouse for some import business. I know he made it up on the spot. I am sure that he's up to something illegal. I know it. Oh, oh, yeah, and by the way, he practically said it -- admitted it without actually saying it, that he's only using my mother to cover his own butt.
Nikolas: No, trust -- trust me. I know. I -- I tried to tell Alexis that he was just using her, but he shuts me down every time I try and talk about it.
Sam: Yeah, well, I think she's setting herself up for a really nasty fall.
Nikolas: Yeah. What else do you have on Jerry? Anything?
Sam: I -- I just told -- no, i mean, that's it.
Nikolas: Well, then everything's just speculation, Sam.
Sam: Really, I have really good instincts, Nikolas.
Nikolas: Ok, but you're -- that doesn't -- that doesn't prove anything. I mean, he could have been in that warehouse for a million different reasons, none of which having anything to do with counterfeit drugs.
Maxie: Ok, here we go.
Leyla: Why is matt home in the middle of the day? Shouldn't be at the hospital or something?
Maxie: Forget about matt. He's an obnoxious jerk. Let's get back to Spinelli.
Leyla: Ok.
Maxie: I don't know you very well, but you seem nice, and I do know that you hooked up with Patrick while he and Robin were separated. That's fine. Patrick and Robin, they do fight a lot, and you did try to move on, even though that didn't work out for you very well. Been there, done that. I make no judgments.
Leyla: Thanks, I think.
Maxie: Spinelli, on the other hand, he's another story. I'm sure he's in awe of you, which is kind of the problem in a nutshell. Spinelli's sweet and romantic, but he's also naive and vulnerable, and you're like this exotic creature with an accent, and I'm sure where you're amused by Spinelli right now, you're going to end up with some really rich doctor or lawyer, and I think Spinelli deserves better than to be the transition between Patrick and whatever comes next for you.
Leyla: You know, I'm sure spinelli will be over the moon as to your defense.
Maxie: Well, I am looking out for his best interest. He is my best friend.
Leyla: Well, then maybe you should pay closer attention to what your best friend's trying to tell you, you know? Look, I appreciate your concern. I do. I can tell it's genuine. I can't promise you I won't date Spinelli. I mean, if he were to pursue me, I might be interested, but if it soothes your mind, I'm not actively looking for love or even casual sex. Thanks for listening.
Cody: You said you wanted information. I got it for you.
Jason: Well, I still haven't heard why. What, we met a couple times at the hospital? You don't owe me anything. Why would you risk your life to give me information about Karpov?
Cody: Loading cargo pays the rent, but it's not what I was trained for. I decided to see if I could still do my real work -- isolate a target, follow him, evade security.
Jason: Can you set up a hit?
Cody: Well, they don't call it that in the military.
Jason: Can you do it?
Cody: I did when I was ordered, but I was a soldier then.
Jason: What about now?
Cody: That would depend on the target.
Jason: Not the money?
Cody: I'm not really interested in money. I don't need it to buy drugs no more.
Jason: Good. Good, so you're clean.
Cody: I quit cold turkey while I was in lockup waiting to be tried for murder. I followed karpov to prove to myself I could still carry out an op. In the process I found evidence he's dealing with Sonny. What you do about it is your own business.
Jason: So, if you were to do something a little bit more dangerous than loading freight, do you think you would go back on drugs?
Cody: I'm in the 12-step program. They teach us to fight our addiction one day at a time. Why?
Jason: 'Cause I have an opening for someone with your experience.
Cody: What kind of work?
Jason: I mean, you'd start out as a driver, maybe some bodyguard work for my accountant bernie, provide security for him, you would take him where he needs to go, and occasionally make some deliveries.
Cody: Of what?
Jason: Well, you don't really need to worry about that. It's nothing illegal.
Cody: I have got no problems with illegal.
Jason: Ok, there's going to be a trial period, and if things work out and you show that you're reliable, we'll discuss other opportunities, or you can just leave with my thanks.
Cody: I didn't come here looking for a job, but I'll take it.
Jason: Good. Bernie's address. I'll call him, tell him to expect you.
Cody: Appreciate this.
Jason: Yeah, and why don't you wait and see, because you might find o I'm not doing you any favors.
Kate: I brought cannolis.
Sonny: Hey, from that place my father likes?
Kate: Yes, and they're almost as good as Theresa's Bakery in Bensonhurst.
Sonny: Thank you very much.
Kate: Nice, right?
Sonny: Yeah.
Kate: All right, I admit it. I was indulging my own guilty pleasure.
Sonny: No, hey, you -- you know, it works for me.
Kate: You are so easy. So, you want to address the elephant in the room now or later?
Sonny: You mean Jason?
Kate: Can you tell me why he was there?...Well, consider yourself warned. If Jason asks you to take back the business, I'm going to do everything in my power to convince you that is a really bad idea.
Sonny: Jason doesn't want me back, Kate. I'm done with that. I'm finished with that life. You know that.
Kate: Then why was he here?
Sonny: Because he -- I -- jason doesn't know me as well as i thought he did. He doesn't -- he doesn't know how I think anymore or how I -- how I do things.
Kate: It sounds like he hurt you somehow.
Sonny: He's under a lot of pressure, and he jumped -- he's jumping to conclusions. He thought that --He thinks that I undermine him.
Kate: But you wouldn't do that.
Sonny: No, I wouldn't do that. Thank god that somebody realizes that. After Michael got shot, things between me and Jason have been edgy. You know, because, you know, you were there during the whole thing. Somewhere he turned. And the pressure from running the organization -- you know, there's a lot of -- it breeds paranoia and distress, and you don't know who your friends are, and you're looking over your shoulder, wondering who's going to stab you in the back. I know, 'cause I've been right there, so I understand what he's going through. And I'm -- and I feel sorry for Jason. But I really -- can't help him. I'm done with all that, right? My life is with you. And I -- I'm happy .
Carly: Ok, well, you never asked to see me, so I'm assuming this is important.
Jason: I thought you should hear from me first. Now, I need to be able to trust you on this.
Carly: Of course. What is it?
Jason: I think Sonny's back in the business.
Carly: What are you talking about?
Jason: He's working with a russian named Andrei Karpov.
Carly: That means he's working against you.
[Pounding on door]
Matt: What? What's with this?
Maxie: I had a cheese enchilada in the fridge. It was my lunch, but now it's gone. Suspiciously enough, it disappeared after you walked out of the kitchen, so I was wondering if you could tell me just exactly who the hell you think you are.
Nikolas: Sorry.
Sam: It's ok. Listen to me. Jerry injected you with some mysterious poison, so we know that at one point, he had access to some crazy, weird pharmaceuticals. It's not a far stretch to think that he would be involved in this counterfeit drug thing. Wait a minute. Another thing. I totally forgot. Ok, listen. When I was on the phone with Karpov the other day, I noticed I heard a voice in the background, and I thought I knew, and I wasn't sure, but I'm almost positive now it was Jerry.
[Door opens]
Sam: Uh-oh, we've got trouble.
Scott: I'm sorry to interrupt. It must take a lot of time out of your day to help the poor and the needy.
Nikolas: What do you want, Scott?
Scott: I'm just trying to be friendly. I want to tell you in person that the FBI has added Lulu to their active list. Johnny's accomplice.
Johnny: Lulu? Hello? Lulu?
