Nikolas: Thank you, alfred.

Alfred: Oh, this will never do.

Nikolas: What?

Alfred: Oh, it seems the maid failed to steam out the crease in the collar.

Nikolas: Oh. It's fine. I don't have time.

Alfred: Oh, mrs. Jacks' sister just called to confirm your meeting.

Nikolas: Good. Good, thank you. Thank you.

Alfred, one more thing.

Alfred: Hmm?

Nikolas: Did nadine strike you as a bit -- uh, a bit odd this morning?

Alfred: No more than usual, sir. Miss nadine is an odd young lady. Charmingly so. Has something specific prompted your concern?

Nikolas: Well, i was under the apparently mistaken impression that spending the night with me would be a bit more significant
for her. But in fact, it was the complete opposite. It was like she couldn't wait to get out of here.

Alfred: Oh.

Nikolas: You see that thing over there on the floor, quivering, battered, and bruised? It's my ego.

Alfred: Oh.

Nikolas: I guess i didn't know her as well as i thought i did.

Nadine: I'm just going to go get changed and i'll be reporting for duty.

Leyla: You arranged to take the day off, remember?

Nadine: Oh, i changed my mind. I want to work. I need to work. That way, everything is perfectly normal.

Leyla: Uh-oh.

Nadine: Nothing.

Leyla: Nothing what?

Nadine: Nothing happened. That's what you were going to ask, right? So why don't you just come out and ask it? You seem to be doing just fine
by yourself.

Nadine: Well, nikolas found me on the ship. We went back to wyndemere and had dinner, and i called to tell you that i was ok.

Leyla: And? You do realize you're leaving out, like, 15 hours.

Nadine: Do i look different to you?

Leyla: Different than -- ?

Nadine: Yesterday.

Leyla: You either tell me what's going on, or i'm leaving.

Nadine: Nikolas and i slept together. And --

leyla: Oh, my gosh.

Nadine: And it was -- wow. Like fireworks going off in the sky while like every fantasy i have ever had multiplied by a thousand.

Leyla: Nadine, i'm so happy for you. I know you'd wanted to make a deeper connection with nikolas for a while.

Nadine: I don't know about deeper connection. Let's not regress to teenage silliness here. It's just sex, right.

Leyla: Just sex.

Nadine: Yeah.

Nikolas and i are adults. We both understand that one-night stands happen all the time. I mean, you scratch the itch. You sleep it off.
The butler brings in breakfast in the morning, and you walk yourself out the door.

Leyla: Oh, my gosh, you didn't.

Nadine: I didn't want to. But it was so bizarre. I mean, we wake up and start making out, and there was a knock on the door and the butler
comes right in. "Will you be having coffee or orange juice, miss?" I was just speechless. And nikolas acted so casual, and i didn't want to appear needy or clingy or starry-eyed, so --

leyla: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. So you jumped to the other extreme. How's nikolas supposed to know that last night meant anything to you if you act like that?

Scott: File whatever charges you want, lansing. But i can hold him for 48 hours, and that's exactly what i'm going to do.
So take him down to the holding cell, where he'll be fresh meat.

Ric: You might want to let acooler head prevail here, baldwin. Now, either you back off with this insane revenge that you
want against my client, or i'm going to turn this little bullying session into a publicity nightmare. Not just for you and the d.A.'S
office, but for mayor floyd, as well. We all know what a media whore our esteemed mayor is, right? He's still taking it on the
chin because you failed to convict john. You push this, he's going to boot you out.

Johnny: That would be worth getting locked up for.

Scott: Let him go, officer. You know, johnny, what i just realized is that i don't have to get justice for my son because i
can see in your eyes the only thing that keeps you tethered to this planet is lulu. And now that she's crazy, she doesn't know who you are.
You're already dead.

Robin: Hey.

Sonny: Hey.

How you doing?

Robin: Oh...

Sonny: Yeah.

Robin: Hey, listen to me.

Sonny: Mm-hmm?

Robin: Look at me.

Sonny: Mm-hmm.

Robin: The best possible surgical team is working on kate right now. And patrick is the best choice that you could make for a
surgeon.

Sonny: Is that the words of a professional or the woman in love with the baby's father?

Robin: Both, probably. You know, no matter how much he annoys me sometimes, i have never doubted his abilities as a surgeon.
And being in love with him has given me a front-row seat to see how he does his job, how he makes his decisions. I can honestly say without any
hesitation that he is the best doctor that i've ever had the privilege to know.

Sonny: You see this right here? Being pregnant and so full of life? Seeing the look in your eyes of pride and love when you talk
about the man you love. That gives me hope. Because no matter what happens in life -- and it could be as bad as anything -- if life goes on, happiness is a possibility.
Right?

Robin: Right.

Carly: Thank you.

Nikolas: Hello.

Carly: Hi. Well, i was surprised to get your call. And intrigued. You said it was about business. What's up?

Nikolas: It is. I'm expanding my interests here in port charles and i would love for the metro court to be part of that expansion.

Carly: This metro court?

Nikolas: Yes. I've already spoken to jax. He's made it very clear to me he's not interested in selling, but i was hoping you might feel
differently.

Carly: Ok. Well, before i consider it, i want to know the real reason you're making this offer.

Nikolas: I just told you.

Carly: Not all of it. What prompted this sudden desire in acquiring my hotel?

Nikolas: Well, it's really only sudden on the surface. See, at night when i'm thinking back at wyndemere, i like to sit out on my terrace because it has
this amazing view of this area. And the metro court is right smack in the middle of it. Just setting there like a jewel. And i've sort of become
attached to it.

Carly: There's tons of buildings and businesses in this area. Businesses you have hands-on experience with. Have you ever supervised running
a hotel?

Nikolas: No, i haven't.

Carly: Hmm. You're looking for a challenge. Or you just want to go up against jax.

Claudia: Why are you still here?

Ric: Why are you still here? Are you waiting for me? I'm so flattered.

Claudia: We need to talk about what just happened.

Ric: Ok.

Claudia: How much is this little escapade going to cost johnny down the line in terms of trouble?

Ric: You could have told me that in your father's living room with your father present.

Claudia: Ok. Maybe there's another reason why i waited.

Ric: Ah.

Claudia: I was thinking maybe we could revisit that whole -- you know, reward i promised you.

Ric: Hmm.

Claudia: You certainly have it coming. Not only did you get johnny acquitted, but you just got him released again.

Ric: Well, i'm even more flattered. Sounds like you're very anxious to pay up.

Claudia: Well, i don't like to have big debts hanging over my head, and i like to make sure that the people that come through for me get a huge
return on their investment.

Ric: I can't tell you --

claudia: What?

Ric: I can't tell you how much i am looking forward to that, but sadly, it's going to have to wait, because i'm not finished yet.

Claudia: Oh, wait a minute -- i'm sorry. Johnny was just released, so your work here is done as far as i can see. Why do you want to hang around
this crappy joint instead of plying me with alcohol?

Ric: I'm trying to gather some ammunition. There's no better place to find it. But by all means, you hold that thought.

Sonny: I wonder sometimes if you ever stop being an inspiration to me.

Robin: What?

Sonny: No, really. I mean, just -- you know, i know when you and stone set an example by, you know, handling his diagnosis.
I know you were just kids. But i was moved by your courage. The way you -- you know, hey -- you lived life to the fullest. You loved each other.
No reservations. That's what you got to do if you are lucky enough to find love. You can't hold back. You gotta say what you feel.
You can't sit in a room alone and wish you could change what's already been done. Because the only thing we have is this moment right now.
And if you don't take advantage of that, you didn't deserve it in the first place. I just want to tell you because i haven't been able to tell you
that i, uh -- you know, just the fact that you've been able to manage that every day. You have.

Robin: I don't know. I -- i don' t know if that's exactly true. I forget to do that all the time, you know, but i try my best.
Now that i have patrick and i'm in love with him, i -- i --

sonny: How's kate? Did she make it?

Patrick: Hey. How are you doing? Yeah. It's been a tough day. Why don't you let me take you for a little walk around the water?

Robin: Yeah, maybe. I have to say something, though. First.

Patrick: Ok.

Robin: So, i was with sonny today.

Patrick: Yeah?

Robin: And he reminded me of something that i should never let myself forget. And that is, time is precious. And so is love.
And we should never be so arrogant as to take that for granted. So that is to say that i know i've been really difficult. And, uh, i've been clinging to
my fear for dear life, wanting to stay in my sterile emotional comfort zone instead of just staying true to the one thing
that i know. That i love you. And i know that you love me. And i'm sorry that i haven't honored that as much as i should have, but i want to change all
of that now. I mean, if you let me, i want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?

Nikolas: Jax and i will never be friends, but that's personal. This is business.

Carly: Hmm. Ok, then maybe it's this. Whenever i lose someone i love and i'm feeling a little unsettled, i compensate by
taking on new challenges.

Nikolas: So -- so now you're connecting my desire to own this hotel with emily's death. That was a long time ago. Nearly a year ago.

Carly: Yeah. In the meantime, you built a clinic in her name.

Nikolas: You may be right. Or you may be over-thinking it. The bottom line is, i want to own this hotel. And so far, i haven't heard you
say that you're not willing to sell it.

Carly: It's really hard to think about corporate takeover when your collar's all messed up.

Nikolas: Thank you.

Carly: There. That's better.

Sonny: You made it. Patrick says you'll make a full recovery. You did your part. Now it's time to do mine. You know why i walked away from
the mob. You know that better than anyone. But it left me vulnerable. Even worse, it made you vulnerable. That can't happen again.
I have to accept that i can't run away from the violence. I have become the violence. So i'm going back. I'm going to put myself in a
position where i strike fear in my enemies' hearts. And whoever did this to you, whoever hurt you is going to pay an ugly price.
No one will ever come after me or mine again.
