Lucky: You are amazing.

Sam: Thank you. Why? Huh?

Lucky: Elizabeth and I have tried every trick in the book to get cameron down in the middle of the afternoon for a nap, but nothing ever worked.

Sam: Ah, would you like to know my secret?

Lucky: Please.

Sam: Ok, so, I may have put a little bug in cameron's ear about the obscure fact that you could actually grow while you are sleeping, and that he needed to be at least three more inches before I could teach him how to steer a ship.

Lucky: Brilliant.

Sam: Thank you.

Lucky: One tiny flaw.

Sam: What's that?

Lucky: Well, at some point, cameron's going to realize that you and elizabeth are both very -- short.

Sam: Ah! I am not short.

Lucky: Well, either cameron's got to assume or realize one day that you -- naps just don't work or you and elizabeth just got away with never taking any.

Sam: I can't believe you. Ok, fine. I may be a little short, but i am mighty.

Lucky: Oh.

Sam: Yes.

Lucky: Ok.

[Knocking on door]

Elizabeth: I was going to toss this and decided not to. Thought maybe I'd keep it as a memento of the trip to italy i almost took with you.

Jason: Elizabeth, I'm sorry.

Elizabeth: Then I realized that you actually paid for this. So, here. It's yours. You can do whatever you want with it.

Jason: I bought it for you. You can, you know, keep it -- trade it in.

Elizabeth: And do what? Go to italy by myself? Cash it in and go shopping?

Jason: You can do whatever you want.

Elizabeth: It never turns out the way I want.

Jason: I was looking so forward to going away with you, spending time together alone, away from -- just everything that's going on. But now more chaos has erupted because kate got shot, and sonny wants to start a war and i refuse --

Elizabeth: And I'm sure it's very dire and urgent and, for the record, I realize I am being completely selfish here. But, still. I just have to ask -- does all this mean you're never going to have time for me?

Robin: It figures, right? The second I decide that i really, really want to marry patrick, he finally believes that I don'T. I mean -- we give new meaning to the word "irony."

Mac: I can understand why your first instinct was to reject marriage. It scares you.

Robin: It scares everybody.

Mac: To a degree. Robin, look, I don't want to sound like a shrink or anything, but you have some serious abandonment issues. Right? You've had to learn early on how to be self-sufficient. You've spent most of your life learning not to depend on anyone but yourself. I mean, to turn everything over -- your life, your baby -- to a flake like patrick must terrify you.

Robin: Wait a minute. He is not a flake.

Mac: He turned down your proposal.

Robin: Because he doesn't think that I really want to marry him.

Mac: In patrick's world, a person's not allowed to change their mind.

Robin: It's a lot more complicated than that and you know it.

Mac: It usually is with women. You'd think I'd know that by now.

[Robin laughs]

Robin: Yeah, well, maxie and georgie and I tried to give you the best education possible.

Mac: And the rules change so often, I can hardly keep up.

Robin: Well, see, then out of all people, you should be able to sympathize with patrick.

Mac: Yeah, well, I might, but you're heart's on the line.

Robin: That's why I love you. Because no matter how big a fool I've been, you always find a way to stick by me. I should have just listened to you the first time you told me to marry patrick when I had the chance.

Mac: Ok, well, you can make up for it now by hearing me when i say everything is going to work out.

Robin: Think so?

Mac: I know so.

Matt: Closed for renovations, huh?

Nadine: What are you doing here?

Matt: Well, I can't just sit around and do nothing. It's not in my nature.

Nadine: Have the police been in contact with you about the fire?

Matt: They found some sort of detonator or remnants thereof.

Nadine: Do they think it's arson?

Matt: Looks that way.

Nadine: Guess someone's not too happy with our suspicions into the drug ring.

Matt: Yeah, well that's an understatement. We could have both been killed.

Nadine: Well, it makes it even more imperative that we catch these guys. Do you remember anything at all before you passed out?

Matt: Anything? Uh, yes, actually I remember a pair of shoes.

Nadine: Anything distinguishing?

Matt: They were black. Oh, and they had some sort of dragon insignia on them. Yeah, it was weird. Why?

Nadine: I feel like I've seen those somewhere recently.

Jerry: However intriguing the thought of torture at your lovely hands, I have no intention of injecting myself or my opinions into jax's relationship with carly. I mean, who am I to give advice? I mean, my personal life has pretty much been a personal disaster. Until now, of course, darling.

Alexis: Because we're so perfectly matched.

Jerry: Yes, where it counts.

Alexis: I wasn't referring to sex.

Jerry: Oh, we could go upstairs and have some.

Alexis: I can'T.

Jerry: Why not?

Alexis: I'm on the clock.

Jerry: I'll be quick.

Alexis: No fun for me.

Jerry: I'll be quick and creative.

Alexis: See, now that's tempting.

Jerry: Oh, come on, give into your baser nature. It's good for the soul.

Alexis: Well, why don't you keep it warm for me. I've got to go to work. I take it we won't be discussing your divorce today.

Jax: I'm sorry -- I'm sorry that I wasted your time.

Alexis: Please don't make a habit of it. Call my office, and we'll reschedule. In the meantime, I'm going to advise you to stifle the urge to make an early christmas present out of your assets.

Jax: Well, I'm going to take my attorney's advice. I'm going to keep interests in both of the hotels. So, I guess when it comes to business, we're stuck with each other.

Max: Welcome to my territory, dad.

Maximus: You show me your hand. Come over here.

Milo: Hey, dad. How you doing?

Maximus: Good to be home, mario.

Milo: Um, it's milo. It's milo.

Maximus: So who's the beauty?

Max: Oh, this is my lawyer, diane miller. Diane miller, meet my father maximus giambetti.

Diane: It's a pleasure to meet you, mr. Giambetti.

[Laughing]

Maximus: What a great day to be newly single.

[Diane laughs nervously]

Jason: See, this is exactly why I didn't want us to start up again. It's not -- it's not fair, elizabeth. You deserve a full commitment from me, and that's not something that I'm able to give you. I'm not necessarily proud of what I do, but I'm running things now, and there's a lot of people who depend on me. And if I screw up, they will die. Ok? I'm not going to sit here and make excuses about that because it's a life that I chose. And despite what sonny tried to do, once you make that choice, there is no turning back. So I can't -- I can't stand here and promise you that things will ever change or even get better.

Elizabeth: Why not just give the organization back to sonny?

Jax: What business do you have in this hotel?

Nikolas: What? Anyone who walks through the door has to state their business?

Jax: No, just you.

Nikolas: Well, not that I owe you an explanation, jax, but I'm here because carly's assistant called me and asked me to stop by.

Jax: Why?

Nikolas: I guess I'll find out when I go upstairs.

Jax: Turn around and leave, nikolas. Carly has nothing to say to you.

Nikolas: Do you make a habit of speaking for carly? Or actually a better question would be -- is she aware of it?

Jax: No, I just don't want you snooping around my hotel. Or manipulating carly into a business arrangement that she doesn't need or want.

Nikolas: Well, I'm going to need to hear that from her. You see, I respect carly's ability to open her mouth and say what she means.

Jax: I'm warning you, nikolas. You back off while you still have the chance.

Nadine: Housekeeping.

Nadine: Housekeeping. Anyone in here?

Sam: Maybe we should rethink this.

Lucky: Why?

Sam: Why? Because the kids are upstairs, and we're in elizabeth's house. And anybody can walk in from any direction, at any time.

Lucky: Yeah, that's a good point.

Sam: Oh, my gosh. Ok, as much as I love taking this trip with you and the boys, it has been the most frustrating week of my life.

Lucky: I should have warned you.

Sam: Warned me? Come on, you cannot tell me that you haven't been frustrated too.

Lucky: So does this make you not want to do this again?

Sam: No. No -- not -- yes, I would love to. I actually can't wait, because i forgot how it was like to actually coexist with kids. How they can completely change your life. How you have to constantly be aware of where they are and what they're doing at any given moment, especially when daddy and sam are trying to get a little nookie. Oh, my goodness. I hope we didn't freak cam out when he saw us kissing.

Lucky: No, no, no, he understands you're my girlfriend. And that means we kiss. And I'm sure he will be fine with it. What?

Sam: You just called me your girlfriend.

[Lucky chuckles]

Elizabeth: Kate's ICU room was mob information central. I mean, just from working there I heard enough to know what's going on. Sonny wants revenge on whoever shot kate. What I don't understand is what does holding on to an organization that you didn't even want in the first place give you? Why can't you just step down? Give it back to sonny.

Jason: I can't do that.

Elizabeth: Why not?

Jason: Because things are too unstable right now. I don't trust sonny to make the right decisions. He never does when he acts out of anger. And if I don't do what I feel is right, and I just give sonny the business back, and that's the easy way out, I'm a coward.

Elizabeth: God, jason, that doesn't even make sense. Why is it cowardly to let yourself be happy?

Jason: With everything I've done, do I deserve to be happy? I just wish we had made it to italy.

Carly: Great, you guys are here. We can hammer out the details.

Jax: Oh, yeah, let's have a friendly conversation about hammering out the details. That sounds great.

Carly: I realize that we've been operating with some tunnel vision. Which is kind of surprising since you pride yourself with thinking out of the box. And nikolas, I don't know you very well, but I do know you come from a very eccentric family -- kind of crazy. So, I would think that creative thinking would come naturally to you. And guess what? It's going to have to if we're going to make this work.

Nikolas: I'm almost afraid to ask.

Jax: Then don't, because whatever this is, it's not going to happen anyway.

Carly: Well, there you go making pronouncements again. And I'm sure you're operating with some good intentions. But you don't get to tell me what to do.

Nikolas: Well, I'm still interested in hearing what you're proposing.

Carly: Good. Because I'm thinking about selling you half my shares of the metro court.

Jerry: I can't wait to hear your explanation for this.

Robin: Things ain't all that bad, right? I mean, patrick completely rejected me while I stood there, begging him to marry me. But that's ok, because we truly love each other. We're having a baby girl together. I have great friends. I have my amazing family. And what's so great about a wedding, anyway? I mean, it's just stressful, right?

Mac: Mm-hmm, mm-hmm.

Robin: I love you.

Mac: I love you, too.

Mac: Excuse me.

Robin: Whoa. Hey, what are you doing?

Mac: You are under arrest.

Patrick: What? Mac, for what?

Mac: Failure to yield to my niece.

Carly: Nikolas made me an excellent offer, and I'm inclined to take it.

Jax: Well, selling out to nikolas is not in the best interest of the metro.

Nikolas: She wouldn't be selling out.

Carly: No, I love this place. I want to stay involved. Nikolas would be buying half my shares.

Jax: Like hell he is.

Jerry: Dear, dear, dear, you are an intrepid little thing. Playing detective, as if it was a game. As if no harm could possibly befall you. Now at last for you -- I have a long history of amoral -- and some would say psychotic behavior. As your friend nikolas knows well. Now let's get down to business. You broke into my hotel room to find some illicit drugs. Luckily for you I have some right here.

Lucky: That wasn't the first time I've called you my girlfriend.

Sam: Yes, it is. I would have remembered.

Lucky: No, I told cameron. What, you don't like the word?

Sam: No -- I like the word. It just, um -- it struck me that's all. It's just so -- so official.

Lucky: I kind of thought we were.

Sam: We are. Look -- we are, of course -- i know it's silly. We've been together for months. It's just -- it's really weird to hear you say it out loud. Girlfriend.

Lucky: Yeah. So how do you think of me?

Sam: Huh? Let me think. Well, I don't know, kind of like the best surprise I ever had. Look, it is no secret that you and I got together out of a rebound. We had to stick it to elizabeth and jason. And me personally, I was looking for someone to hold on to -- to sort of get me through the night while I was sad and very lonely. But -- over time you became so much more. You are actually the one I count on. And I just don't think that boyfriend covers it. Am I right? It should scare me to death, but instead it -- it makes me oddly happy.

Lucky: I know the feeling.

Sam: Good.

Jason: Yeah, I told you I can't deal with --

Maximus: What kind of an organization are you running here? Doesn't anybody show you respect?
