Friday 10/10 Part 2

Patrick: You know what? Forget I said anything. I -- I don't know why I'm even talking about Sonny. Maybe it's because this whole -- the way he's going through with Kate and everything, so -

Robin: Mm.

Patrick: Plus, we have more important things to think about. I finally got the woman I love to say "yes" to me.

Robin: I know. My uncle Mac threw us out of the interrogation room so fast, we didn't have time to make any wedding plans.

Patrick: That's true. So I'm off tomorrow if you want to just elope.

Robin: We could.

Patrick: Mm-hmm?

Robin: There's just a little problem. My impending due date.

Patrick: Right. No flying. And crossing state lines really doesn't have the same flair, does it?

Robin: No. And you know, if we are going to get married, there are some people that I would like to be there.

Patrick: Ok.

Robin: My mom.

Patrick: Mm-hmm.

Robin: My uncle Mac, my dad, if he feels up to it, your dad, if you feel up to it. And then there's, you know, all my friends. Lainey, Kelly, and Elizabeth. Epiphany. Please, if anyone deserves to share in the happy moment, it would be her. Look at what we've put her through.

Patrick: Yeah, you're right. So, what you're saying is that we're going to have a ginormous wedding?

Robin: It might be. Is that ok?

Patrick: Yeah. Yeah, I think it is. I mean, you know, I am the guy that proposed to you in front of the entire staff, so -

Robin: Ok, here's one question, though. Do you think we should get married before or after the baby comes?

Patrick: Hmm. What do you think?

Robin: I asked you first.

Patrick: Oh, well, there's an adult response.

Robin: Ok, well, we'll just say it. On the count of three, we'll just both, at the same time, blurt out our honest answers.

Patrick: Ok, but you'd better do it.

Robin: I'll do it.

Patrick: Ok.

Robin: You ready?

Patrick: Yes.

Robin: One, two, three.

Patrick and Robin: Before.

Patrick: Hey.

Max: Uh, dad, this is Spinelli. Another trusted employee. Spinelli runs my computer network, and this is his girlfriend Maxie.

Spinelli: Um, Maximista is indeed of the female persuasion, and she is my most cherished and loyal friend, but I think the boy toy of the brusque lady of justice is being overly-generous in his relationship classification.

Maximus: What'd he say?

Spinelli: And though the jackal holds the loyal and faithful one in the highest of esteem, his loyalties lie firmly with stone cold -

Maxie: We're really sorry, Mr. Giambetti. We should not have barged in like that.

Spinelli: Why are you prostrating yourself before Mr. Sir's protector? And why is stone cold dressed so formally, albeit stylish? I -

Maximus: Does this kid always talk like a cartoon character?

Jason: I'm showing respect to Mr. Giambetti and his father. And you two need to do the exact same thing.

Maxie: Spinelli and I, we were just really nervous because your son talks about you all the time. I'm Maxie.

Maximus: Maximus.

Maxie: What a coincidence. Maximus, max, Maxie. We could start, like, our own law firm or something.

Maximus: Ha ha ha, she's cute.

Maxie: Anyway, my friend meant no disrespect. And he talks like that because he's a cyber-genius. They're really weird.

Maximus: Oh, a tech kid, I get it. You know, years ago, tony and the boys, we picked up a geek like that. He talked funny. Cracked us up all the time. Boy, it was a sad day when we had to whack him.

Claudia: No!

Ric: Oh, that means -

Claudia: You beat me.

Ric: Uh-huh.

Claudia: Fair and square. That means you win a prize.

Ric: Really? What would that be? Is that the key to your heart?

Claudia: It's the key to my something. I rented a room upstairs.

Ric: Because you like slumming?

Claudia: Don't knock it till you've tried it. I just want to keep you alive a little bit longer.

Ric: Oh, I'm flattered.

[Claudia chuckles]

Claudia: Look, I mean, you have every right to say that this is all way more than you signed up for and walk away. No questions asked, no hard feelings.

Ric: Ok, well, let me think about that.

[Both laugh]

Ric: Hey, listen. I'm not afraid of your brother, and I'm definitely not afraid of you.

Claudia: Awesome. Race you.

[Claudia laughs]

Sonny: Blabbing Karpov's name to law enforcement accomplishes nothing. Now, Alexis is going to come up with some pointless investigation to interfere with what I'm trying to do.

Olivia: Hey -- Sonny: Which is get back into position to protect Kate and my family.

Olivia: That is fine, Sonny.

Sonny: Ok?

Olivia: You do what you need to do. My only concern is that my cousin not continue to be target practice for a bunch of bloodthirsty thugs, all right? That means when an officer of the court comes to me and asks me, "do you know anything about Kate Howard's shooting?" I'm going to tell her what I know.

Sonny: Oh, when did you become some paragon of honesty? You've always been quite the liar. And you haven't changed much. What you're trying to do right now is tie my hands with Karpov.

Olivia: Get over yourself, Sonny. Do you think I give a damn what you do on your stupid little killing field? I want my cousin to be able to go back to the life that she worked very hard to create for herself without looking over her shoulder every five seconds to see if there's a bullet flying at her head. Ok? So, when the D.A. Or the cops or anyone else asks me a question, I'm going to tell them what I know. And if you don't like it, that's just too damn bad.

Patrick: Yeah.

Robin: I can't believe we actually agree on something.

Patrick: Yeah, shouldn't we start over thinking this and accuse each other of deliberate manipulation?

Robin: Probably not. We should just run with this before we mess it up. Ok, so we agree that we would like to get married before my due date.

Patrick: Yes.

Robin: Which does not give us much time.

Patrick: Ok, well how much is there to really plan?

Robin: Lots. I'm catholic, so there will have to be at least two counseling sessions.

Patrick: Robin, did you -- counseling?

Robin: Yeah.

Patrick: What do you mean, like religious therapy?

Robin: I hope you don't mind. You see, my grandmother, Filomena -- she was catholic, and she really wanted me to get married in a church. I'd like to do that for her.

Patrick: Ok. Counseling it is, assuming we pass.

Robin: Well, it's not a test. It's just, you know -- do you want to do this? Are you absolutely sure you want to do this? I mean, it's not as if we haven't thought this whole getting married thing to death.

Patrick: Yeah. Ok, so, well, let's pick a date.

Robin: Ok. How about October 29?

Patrick: October 29. Any day that you let me be your husband is fine by me.

Sam: You know, every time we're together, I feel like it gets harder and harder for us to be apart. I think I always find myself dreading the thought of one of us having to go home.

Lucky: Am I hearing things? Is that actually Sam McCall hinting at the future?

Sam: I don't know. I mean, what would you say if I would say yes? I mean, would that scare you away?

Lucky: I don't think I'll be going away anytime soon. I think it's time you understand something.

Sam: What?

Lucky: I happen to be in love with you.

Sam: Are you serious?

Lucky: Did that scare you?

Sam: No. It doesn't. I just -- I find myself -- like, I'm really, really, really happy. And I, um -- I love you, too.

Alexis: Thank you for coming, Mr. Karpov.

Karpov: Give me one good reason why I shouldn't have my lawyer file charges against your office and the police department.

Alexis: Please, come in.

Karpov: Thank you.

Alexis: And as far as you filing charges, feel free to do that. And you may win, in fact, because I understand you're a very powerful man.

[Karpov scoffs]

Alexis: So much so that when your visa was revoked, you were able to get another one right away.

Karpov: Is that what this is about? My immigration status?

Alexis: You had an innocent woman shot on her wedding day, Mr. Karpov, which is precisely why I'm not challenging your visa.

Karpov: Your reasoning escapes me.

Alexis: All right, let me explain this to you then. I may not be able to prove that you shot Kate Howard, but I can prove that you're a drug smuggler. That is, in fact, what you do, and you're doing it right here in my town, and I don't like it. So, after I bring charges against you, I don't want to have to go to all the trouble of having to extradite you.

Karpov: I have no idea what you're talking about.

Alexis: Yes, you do. By all means, try and run. It'll just strengthen my case.

Spinelli: Might the jackal inquire into the circumstances that prompted the aforementioned whacking of your former cyber associate?

Maxie: It's not polite to question businessmen like Maximus about their former dealings.

Maximus: You're a smart cookie.

Maxie: Thank you, sir.

Maximus: Do you work for my son, too?

Maxie: Actually, I'm in fashion publishing. But I firmly believe in learning from people who are successful in life. Which is why I'm honored to be able to spend so much time around your son. Mr. Giambetti is the don of Port Charles. Everyone is in awe of his power and ruthlessness.

Maximus: I taught you well. Would you like a drink? Hey, muscles. Can you get the cutie here a drink?

Maxie: Yes, muscles. I would like a latte. And some orange soda for my friend Spinelli, here. How about those almond cookies that are dipped in chocolate? If they're out here, they have some at the bakery down the street. And could you pick up a copy of "prima bella" and "couture" from the newsstands? Is that too much for you to remember?

Ric: How much for the room?

Coleman: The lady already covered it, Richard.

Ric: For the month?

Coleman: Five hundred.

Ric: Bill me. Make sure you include a key with the paperwork.

Patrick: Coleman, congratulations are in order. I'm getting married.

Coleman: Good! Congratulations, man. Good to know seeing these testimonials did the trick, brother.

Patrick: Uh-huh. Come on.

Coleman: Easy now, easy.

Patrick: One more.

Coleman: Dude, for a guy who just got what he said he wanted, you don't look all that happy.

Patrick: Ok, hypothetical question here. If you found out a dangerous guy has a child that he doesn't know about, and someone very, very close to you is friends with the dangerous guy, and they want you to tell the truth, and realistically, you want to tell the truth. But like I said, the guy is dangerous. Do you say something, or do you just keep deceiving instead of putting the kid at risk?

Coleman: Ok, run that by me again. One more time.

Olivia: I'll have a beer.

Claudia: Another shot for me. Thanks. So, what brings you to Jake's?

Olivia: Just driving by. I thought I'd check it out. I saw you at my cousin's wedding.

Claudia: Yeah, I would've introduced myself, but -- Claudia Zacchara.

Olivia: Olivia Falconeri.

Claudia: Shame, what happened to Kate. I guess it's just, you know, part of the deal. Goes with the territory, you marry a boss anymore, huh? How's Sonny doing?

Spinelli: No. It is against natural law -

Jason: Shut up and take it.

Maxie: Ooh, the Italian issue of "prima bella." Good job, Jason, this is really hard to find.

Jason: All right, I aim to please you, Maxie. Maxie: Ok. Well, do we all have what we need now? Because we really need to discuss this Karpov situation.

Maximus: Andrei Karpov? Big Russian? Smokin' hot lady lawyer?

Max: Uh, yeah, that's them. He's been trying to establish a presence here.

Maximus: Well, what're you doing about it?

Max: Um, well, we brokered a truce.

[Maxie scoffs]

Maxie: Please. That truce is old news. Not only did Karpov have my boss, Kate Howard, shot at her wedding to Sonny Corinthos, but two Russian-sputtering thugs just trashed her office.

Spinelli: Maximista leaves out a crucial point, though. The note -- the chilling note was left in English. Oh.

[Max clears throat]

Max: Thank you.

Jason: What?

Maximus: You let your bodyguard question your business?

Max: Oh, Jason's just naturally curious.

Maximus: Let me see that. "Next time, Kate Howard dies." This is bull.

Max: Bull?

Maximus: I know Karpov by reputation. He's too smart to be that obvious. It wasn't Karpov's men.

Jerry: Two things, Karpov. I'm not your minion, and I don't like to be summoned.

Karpov: Shut up! Your girlfriend, the D.A., Just threatened to bring me up on smuggling charges.

Jerry: Well, I will handle Alexis.

Karpov: Handle her for good, hmm? Kill her.

Alexis: I want 24-hour surveillance on Karpov. I've already spoken to commissioner Scorpio about setting up a task force. I want you to get this guy and bring him down.

[Knock on door]

Alexis: Did you change your mind about giving a statement?

Sonny: I hope you didn't pay any attention to Olivia, because she doesn't really know what she's talking about. She's from Bensonhurst, for god's sake.

Alexis: Hmm, yeah. Well, I thought she was a reliable witness.

Sonny: You can't start an investigation on Karpov.

Alexis: Too late.

Sonny: Shut it down. I don't want him followed.

Alexis: And you know what? I know why. Because police presence would hamper your revenge mission. So, guess what? You need to shut it down.

Sonny: If I decide to go after Karpov, do you really think you can stop me?
