From TV Megasite:

Tracy: What laws have you broken now, husband?

Federale Lopez: Senor Spencer is accused of disturbing the peace.

Luke: Oh, come on. The crickets do that here. This dorp is deader than a doornail.

Federale Lopez: Also, destruction of property.

Luke: Oh, no. No, no, no. The furniture in that joint was crap. I did the owner a favor.

Federale Lopez: And refusal to pay for drinks at several local bars.

Luke: That's a lie. I never run out on a bar tab. And I'm a very big tipper.

Tracy: Oh, stop. I've heard enough.

Luke: I have my ethics, Tracy.

Tracy: If it weren't for Lulu, I would have him lock you up and throw away the key.

Maxie: Okay, we need phony credentials for us and fake release papers for Lulu.

Spinelli: Maybe we should clear our daring rescue with the siblings of the blonde one?

Maxie: Why? Lucky will just have us arrested, and Nikolas will send Lulu off to some castle in the middle of nowhere or something.

Spinelli: What if breaking her out of Shadybrook compromises her recovery?

Maxie: Do you really think she's getting better in there now, Spinelli? What if you were locked up in there, and everything that made you my wonderful best friend was being therapied out of you? Wouldn't you want me to come save you?

Spinelli: More than anything.

Maxie: I mean, I just want Lulu to come back so I can hate her and look really good at work compared to her.

Spinelli: Don't you think breaking her out of Shadybrook is a bit extreme?

Maxie: She would do it for you if you were there. I mean, she would leave me to rot, but she would save you in a heartbeat. We need her. I need her. I kind of miss her. Please, Spinelli.

Spinelli: Fear not, fair Lulu. Help is on the way.

Spinelli: Ah -

Nikolas: Are you sure you're okay with this?

Nadine: Yeah.

Carly: Wow. Am I interrupting? Sorry. I didn't realize you were entertaining someone.

Nadine: Hold on. Don't think for a second that I don't know what you're up to.

image

Elizabeth: Jason, are you okay?

Jason: I'm fine.

Elizabeth: I told you that the ladder was wobbly.

Jason: I'm okay.

Elizabeth: Oh, God, I'm so sorry. Jason, you've hurt yourself.

Jason: Nothing I can't walk off.

Elizabeth: I think you sprained your ankle.

Jason: And you think that's funny?

Elizabeth: No, it's -- I mean, you've fought so many enemies. Who knew it was a ladder that would take you down?

image

Max: Karpov has tightened security. It's going to be tough to get another shot at him.

Sonny: Find a way.

Max: Well, Sir, there might not be time. Karpov's making arrangements right now to leave the country.

Sonny: He'll be dead before he gets the chance.

image

Elizabeth: Let me please look at your ankle.

Jason: Look, it was a fall off a ladder, not a dive off a fire escape.

Elizabeth: I don't care. Let me look at it.

Jason: Well, even if it's sprained, I can't stop walking, you know.

Elizabeth: Hey, I'm the nurse here, remember? I've taken care of plenty of your bullet wounds in this studio, so let me just see it. Does this hurt?

Jason: Mm, not much.

Elizabeth: What about this?

Jason: Oh, ow, ow. A little, just a little bit. What?

Elizabeth: I like it when you let me take care of you.

image

Max: Boss, we don't have the time or the manpower to get Karpov before he leaves for Russia.

Sonny: You know I don't have the manpower, right? So I have to do this with what I have, Max.

Max: Boss, I'll do whatever you need me to do.

Sonny: Stay on Karpov. Give me his routine. If we can't make a long range plan then we'll just make our own opportunity, okay?

Max: Yes, Sir.

Sonny: All right. Good. Good, good, good. Everything's good.

Ric: Why, yes, I'd love to have a drink with you, Sonny.

Max: I told him it wasn't a good time, boss.

Ric: It's never a good time to see your brother, is it, Sonny?

Sonny: That's okay, Max, because he's not going to stay long.

Max: All right.

Sonny: Okay, let me tell you something. If -- if -- if -- you can go ahead and tell Anthony that my answer is still no.

Ric: I'm not here because of Anthony, Sonny. I just wanted to see how you're doing.

Sonny: No, you're here to see if I'm desperate enough to kill the bastard who put Kate in the hospital, and if I'm willing to take Anthony's offer to run the organization.

Ric: Sounds like you're pretty close to saying yes.

image

Nadine: Look, I try to give others the benefit of the doubt. Gossip is not something I like to spread around, even though enough of it is already in circulation about you.

Carly: Okay, I get that you're upset, but take a breath.

Nadine: No, look. I'm sure you have dozens of wonderful qualities, but as my Aunt Rayleen would say, "Some women are like magpies. They can't help but snatch up whatever is shiny and pretty."

Carly: I have no idea what you're talking about.

Nadine: No, look, yes, I'm sure you do. I saw you at the Metro Court lobby, chatting up Nikolas.

Nikolas: We were just talking about business, that's --

Nadine: No, no. You know what?

Nikolas: All.

Nadine: Go for it. If you want him, and Nikolas is fool enough to fall for your games, I'm out. Believe me. Your highness.

Nikolas: Wow. Um, I'm sorry. You'll have to forgive Nadine. She's a little --

Carly: Do I.

Nikolas: Look, there's a perfectly good explanation for this, but I would appreciate it if you help me find my shirt first.

Carly: You don't have to get dressed on my account.

image

Luke: Why so chilly, Popsicle?

Tracy: Did you expect a playful wink?

Luke: The nice man doesn't want to arrest me. He just wants a payoff.

Tracy: And you know that why?

Luke: Because he came in here, took one look at you, heard you were my wife, and out came the charges.

Tracy: So I'm supposed to bribe him?

Luke: Consider it a donation to the widow and orphans' fund. Just grease his palm and we're out of here. Oh, greasier. Come on.

Tracy: If I find out that he's kicking back to you --

Luke: Oh, why didn't think of that? Because we're a team.

Federale Lopez: You will come quietly?

Tracy: We'll let this do our talking.

Federale Lopez: You know what will happen if I find you here again.

Luke: Si. Gracias. See how that worked? Okay, we're out of here. You drive, I'll navigate.

Tracy: Ah, ah, ah. We're not going anywhere.

image

Maxie: What are you doing?

Spinelli: I was just trying to mimic the behavior of an unhinged inmate.

Maxie: Spinelli, that's, like, really politically incorrect.

Spinelli: I'm sorry.

Maxie: No, no, no. Come on. Don't worry. It's just us.

Lulu: Why are you dressed like that?

Spinelli: Maximista dons the disguise of a reputable health specialist, and I that of her trusty patient.

Lulu: That's a very bad idea.

Maxie: Well, you're in no position to criticize. You should be grateful that we came here to rescue you.

Lulu: I'm sorry. You can't rescue me from this.

image

Robin: Oh, come on. It ain't so bad.

Patrick: So bad -- not so bad? I could be the first dad in history to decapitate a practice doll in Lamaze class.

Robin: Well, at least you gave the other dads a good laugh.

Patrick: No, of course, they had a great time. I'm a bigger disaster than they are.

Robin: Oh, you're being too hard on yourself.

Patrick: Okay, well, either way, I think it's a good idea that we check you into the hospital till the baby's born. That way you are surrounded by medical staff that know what they're doing because I, obviously, don't.

Robin: Okay, relax. You're going to be fine when I go through labor.

Patrick: Speaking of labor, I think it's a good idea that you have a C-section.

image

Ric: Look, I'm aware that Anthony's made overtures to you about joining the Zacchara organization.

Sonny: Be glad I turned it down, Ric, because you would resent it like hell if I was running the show.

Ric: Hey, listen, you were the one who didn't want us to work together. Remember? You didn't trust me. You put all that faith and loyalty in Jason. Look where that got you.

Sonny: And you love this.

Ric: Hey, I despise Jason, Sonny. But I never would have guessed that he was going to steal your organization.

Sonny: Thanks for your concern.

Ric: Oh, Jason was so loyal, wasn't he?

Sonny: Right.

Ric: So willing to take your orders year after year. Let me tell you something, Sonny. Nobody, nobody, not even Jason is that selfless. At one point, ambition takes hold of all of us. Don't you think maybe he was wondering all those years, maybe he could take over, inwardly questioning your decisions, maybe thinking that his were better. I mean, who knows what Jason's going to want to take next?

Sonny: I got nothing left for him to take.

Ric: Yeah? Except your life. Maybe he wants you to go after Karpov and fail. Look, Sonny, take it from me. Part of being able to play dirty is knowing how to keep your hands clean.

image

Elizabeth: There you go. I would tell you to take it easy for a few weeks, but I know there's no point.

Jason: Thank you.

Elizabeth: Could you humor me and leave it as is for a little bit?

Jason: I'll try.

Elizabeth: Thanks.

Jason: When was this taken of Jake?

Elizabeth: Last weekend.

Jason: What's he holding?

Elizabeth: A mallet to his xylophone. He bangs on that thing relentlessly, as loud as he can.

Jason: I wonder if he'll be into music.

Elizabeth: Maybe. He certainly gets enough practice. I have so many more pictures. I should have brought them with me. You know, this whole thing is kind of like a metaphor. You're not meant to be domesticated, and it's almost dangerous, like an animal, who only gets hurt when they're in captivity.

Jason: I was distracted by watching you.

Elizabeth: You were watching me?

Jason: I can't help myself. You're so beautiful.

[Cell phone rings]

Jason: Yeah.

Sonny: I need to see you. Now.

image

Jerry: Relax, Andrei. The situation is well in hand. I have everything I need to carry on in your absence. There's no reason to silence Alexis Davis. She will turn the attention of law enforcement away from you and onto her daughter. I have to go. I'm meeting someone. Please, please don't tell me you're canceling our date.

Sam: No, no, not at all. I just -- I wanted to agree on the place, and you had mentioned the Cosmopolitan.

Jerry: Mmm. You know, sealing the deal in a hotel room seems a bit -- a bit tawdry, unless that's what you're going for.

Sam: No, no, actually I would really prefer going to my place, maybe in a half hour or so.

Jerry: Hmm, sounds irresistible, just like you. So -- let the games begin.

image

Nikolas: Really? My shirt's not over there?

Carly: No. Mm-mmm.

Nikolas: Okay. No, it's okay, you had no idea that Nadine and I would be in a -- what was that, a compromising position?

Carly: I'm not knocking spontaneity, you know. It's actually refreshing to see you like this.

Nikolas: Like what? Making a fool of myself?

Carly: You look anything but foolish.

Nikolas: It's easy for you to say. You're the one who's fully dressed.

Carly: I have your shirt.

Nikolas: Oh.

Carly: But now would be a time to raise those prices of the shares of the Metro Court you want to buy, if I were willing to sell.

Nikolas: So you're not?

Carly: Well, I can't talk business with a half-naked man, so --

Nikolas: Thank you.

[Carly laughs]

Jax: Well, no need to get dressed on my account.

Jax: You told Marty you were going to Wyndemere. I assumed it was about the hotel.

Carly: No, actually it was personal.

Jax: I didn't realize you had a personal relationship with Nikolas. Not that it makes any difference with our dealings whatsoever.

Carly: Well, Nikolas and I find ourselves in very similar circumstances. We're unattached. And Nikolas knows what I've been going through, and he's been incredibly understanding.

Jax: Yeah. Yeah, that's great. If you attempt to sell Nikolas half of your shares of the hotel, I will get a court order to stop the transaction.

Carly: You can't do that.

Jax: Actually, I can. I read the fine print in our contract. It says I have first right of refusal on any sale of any portion of the Metro Court. So if you pursue this, you will both be slapped with a nasty lawsuit.

image

Maxie: Lulu, this is a blackmail note. How come you didn't tell someone?

Lulu: It's -- I'm not being blackmailed.

Maxie: Hello? "You killed Logan. You should pay." Somebody obviously believed you when you flipped out on the witness stand, or maybe they knew all along. Maybe they know that I showed up right after you stabbed Logan -- in self defense.

Lulu: Nobody knows.

Spinelli: "You should pay." Said payment would clearly be of a monetary nature. And while Lulu is not in of herself wealthy, she has siblings --

Lulu: You don't understand.

Maxie: Well, we'll have to find out who the blackmailer is first.

Spinelli: I will request assistance from Stone Cold.

Lulu: You don't need Jason's help because I am not being blackmailed. I wrote that note to myself.

image

Luke: Buttercup, now that we've paid off the nice man, we need to vamos.

Tracy: No, no, no, sweetheart. You're a criminal in the U.S., remember? You'll get stopped at the border or worse -- arrested at Shadybrook.

Luke: These are bridges we'll cross when we get there.

Tracy: Luke, have you pickled every cell in your brain? I told you. Daddy has to get the money laundering charges against you cleared.

Luke: That could be next year.

Tracy: Don't underestimate Daddy.

Luke: Don't underestimate Baldwin. He could have me on the most wanted list till hell freezes over.

Tracy: We wait.

Luke: Tracy, does my daughter need me or not?

Tracy: Yes, Luke, she needs you. With her, not in a jail cell.

Luke: Speaking of which.

Federale Lopez: Senor Spencer, you are still here. You leave me no choice.

Tracy: Does he want more?

Luke: Think of it as the installment plan.

image

Ric: Stopped off at Kelly's. Claudia tells me you're in a much better mood when your sweet tooth is satisfied.

[Anthony chuckles]

Anthony: I'm craving something sweeter than sugar. How did it go with Sonny?

Ric: My brother doesn't confide in me. I think he could go either way.

Anthony: Sonny wants revenge.

Ric: Sonny has also been his own boss for two decades, Anthony. It's not in his nature to take help from you or from anybody.

Anthony: He's got no other option.

Ric: Oh, really? Sonny and Jason could reconcile.

[Anthony scoffs]

Anthony: Jason won't risk his organization and the lives of everyone in it just to get revenge for Sonny, which means Sonny has to come to me. And once Karpov's dead, it won't be too hard to provoke Sonny into moving after Jason.

Ric: Unless Jason kills Sonny to keep what he's got.

Anthony: Jason believes that peace is more important than power. Otherwise, he would have offed Sonny a long time ago.

Ric: Yeah, well, I wouldn't count Jason out just yet.

Anthony: The only person who can kill Jason is Sonny. And then Sonny will die, and the helpless old man in the wheelchair will wind up with everything. Mmm.

image

Sonny: Max told me that Karpov is planning to leave the country.

Jason: That's good.

Sonny: Good? The son of a bitch went into a church and shot the woman I was going to marry and that's it? Good? Out of sight, out of mind?

Jason: Look, you and Kate can start the life that you wanted.

Sonny: While Karpov lives -- what, happily ever after on the other side of the planet?

Jason: You can't touch Karpov in Russia.

Sonny: We can do it. Right here, right now. Help me do it. Or I'm going to have to go to the Zaccharas.

Sonny: Anthony came to me after Kate was shot, which is pretty ironic. My bitter enemy offers to help when the person I thought was my best friend doesn't want to help.

Jason: What happened to Kate was awful.

Sonny: She almost died!

Jason: Sonny, I'm not denying --

Sonny: You know she almost died, so you know what? If I sit back with my hands tied, it's going to happen again. I can't put my family in danger anymore. I have to send a message, you know that.

Jason: And how does Anthony want to help you, exactly?

Sonny: He's an old man. He wants somebody to run the organization, so he offered to put it at my disposal to punish Karpov.

Jason: So you think he's just going to sign over his power to you? Anthony Zacchara?

Sonny: He knows that Karpov needs to be brought down. He knows that. He needs to be punished for what he did.

Jason: What'd you tell him?

Sonny: I turned him down. Because I thought you were going to help me. But you don't want to. So I'm just -- I'm running out of options here. So, you know, before I go to the Zaccharas, I'm just going to ask you one last time. Return my organization to me.
