Tuesday, May 27, 2008 part one.....

Patrick: Ok that's it.
No more looking at each other's blogs.
Robin: Hmm. Maybe we should rethink that. The baby is going to be joining us in the next few months and I
think it's a good thing to keep our lines of communication open, right?
Patrick: Right, yeah.
Robin: Right, so if we watch the blogs together, it'll be like really listening to what the other person is saying.
Patrick: No.
Robin: Yes.
Patrick: Robin, I really don't think that's a good idea.

Carly: Hey, come on. We're going to go on an adventure and it's going to be so much fun. It's just going to be the two
of us.
Spinelli: May the jackal ask where the valkyrie and her fledgling are headed?
Carly: This is perfect timing, spinelli. You're going to help us get there.
_________________________________________________________________________________________________
Sonny: You don't want to walk away because that's just because of the danger, the power -- i don't know. I'm giving that to you.
Jason: You're not giving me anything. You've decided that your life doesn't work for you anymore. It's too painful to watch your loved ones in danger. Seeing your kids surrounded by guards, followed by guards, wondering if and when they're going to end up like Michael. You don't want to do it anymore. I get it. I understand, but you don't have a choice. The danger is real, the guards are necessary. Leaving doesn't change anything.
Sonny: And you know this, why? Because it was handed to you from the man upstairs -- what I can't do, what I can do?
Sonny: Maybe this has something to do with your own life. I get out, have a life with Kate, my kids call me daddy. You're worried... That Elizabeth may sleep with Lucky or some other guy and all Jake is going to know about you is that you left him.
_______________________________________________________________________________________________
(Patrick's voice): Women are amazing. They can settle anwhere -- your apartment, your work, your car. That's just the way they think. And don't be foolish. It has nothing to do with you. It probably would've been easier living in caves back then. No expectations. Maybe that's why love was invented -- to build a common ground betweeen the hunters and gatherers. Because that's what love does. Its -- love is the glue, the concrete, the... Quicksand. Love is -- well, love is the baby.
Patrick: Ok, you know what? We already established i'm an idiot, so that really doesn't --
Robin: No, no, you're not an idiot.
Patrick: No, just an insensitive, arrested adolescent.
Robin: You can be insensitive sometimes.
Patrick: Go ahead, Robin. Keep going. I can take it.
Robin: Other times you can be wonderful and concerned and take really good care of me, which I appreciate a lot.
Patrick: You do?
Robin: Yes. You know, i'm glad that you vented. The truth is, I think i'm the one that's been insensitive. I have been so focussed on myself and this pregnancy that I haven't taken the time to do what I should and take care of you.
Patrick: You should?
Robin: You're the one that had daddyhood sprung on you after you warned me a thousand times over that you weren't --
Patrick: Yes, but it's not like you tricked me into having this baby.
Robin: Right, it was an accident, but it was a happy one for me because I want to have a child. You get to have your own feelings on the subject. Now, granted, I wish you'd told me instead of venting out into cyberspace, but if that's what
you need to do, then go for it.

Lulu: So, uh, how are we supposed to do this?
Johnny: Well, we go on seeing each other and we don't hide it from anybody.
Lulu: So your father can use me as leverage against you, and my family can totally freak?
Johnny: You did do a good job standing up to Lucky.
Lulu: Yeah, Lucky and Nikolas are worried about me. They love me and their concern touches me, but --not that i love the idea of Lucky warning you away from me, but i know his heart's in the right place.
Johnny: Believe me, i know the feeling.
Lulu: Carly has definitely got her fair share of issues, but she's loyal. She'd go to the wall to protect me.
Johnny: Lulu, if you ever want out, I will understand.
Lulu: I have made my choice. I am just wondering how we're supposed to do this. It's not a big secret that we're coming here to meet.
Johnny: I know. The house is full of security cameras. This is the only place we can go for any privacy.
Lulu: Do you think your father's going to start to suspect that we're double-crossing him?
Johnny: I'm sure he already does. Sooner or later we're going to come across some pretty damning evidence against him. And when we do, we don't do anything.
Lulu: Because it's a trap.
_______________________________________________________________________________________________
Anthony: We need to go over the situation with John and Lulu.
Trevor: Well, Luke left the country because there are money laundering charges pending against him. The zaccharas, however, are not implicated.
Anthony: I don't give a damn about Luke Spencer. I'm talking about the girl and what she means to John.
Anthony: (to Logan) Why am I saying this with you in the room?
Logan: Why not? I can keep my mouth shut.
Anthony: Sure you can. Get out of here.
Trevor: All right, how many times i got to tell you? Don't threaten the girl openly in public. It's going to come back to bite you.
___________________________________________________________________________________________
Carly: Morgan's in the playroom. I don't want to confuse him.
Spinelli: It is I who is most confused -- what --
Carly: I need to get Morgan out of Port charles, start over somewhere with new identities.
Spinelli: You can't just up and leave your home and loved ones.
Carly: I was going to take a train to another state and try and figure out what I was going to do next, but this is way more efficient and definitely more secure if Ihave you do everything for me.
Spinelli: What exactly is the Valkyrie expecting of me?
Carly: I need you to find a town with minimal crime, no connections to Sonny.I need you to get identities for me and Morgan that can't be traced by anyone, especially Sonny.
________________________________________________________________________________________________
Sonny: I know the truth hurts. Is that what's going on here? You gave up Elizabeth and Jake, so now you don't want me to have Kristina, Morgan, or Kate? Look, I have a chance. Just hear me out. I have a chance to be happpy.
Jason: Happy? How can you be happy with Michael lying in that place? So you're going to tell me that you're going to leave this business, you're going to be happy with Kate, you're not going to have guards on Morgan or Kristina, and you're never going to think about Michael... Lying there?
Jason: We did this to Michael. We chose this for Michael. The kid didn't have a choice about anything.
[Phone rings]
Jason: Yeah?
Spinelli: Stone cold must come to the Valkyrie's aid at once. I fear she's about to embark on a most ill-advised plan.
Jason: Ok, i'll be there. (to Sonny) What you do, you pay for. You don't -- you don't get to have a nice life.
_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Patrick: Some of what I said on the blog is true.
Robin: Thank you. Only some of it?
Patrick: Ok, I got a little bit carried away in some parts, but I was so focussed on the negative that i didn't really
talk about the positives, like, for instance, how much time we've spent together.
Robin: Are you sure that's a positive?
Patrick: Still the same people. Still have all the qualities that I love.
Robin: And the ones that drive you crazy?
Patrick: Anyhow, I've been questioing my assumptions lately, I think. Not that i'm in a rush to change diapers and startbabysitting, but I think it's sometihng I can try.
Robin: I'm not pushing you.
Patrick: I know.
Robin: I don't want you to feel pressured or obligated, or think that I'll be upset or or feel abandoned if you just decided that you don't want to have any part --
Patrick: Robin, you've made that very clear. It's practically in your mantra, which is why I think I came up with this on my own. Lately i've been wondering what he or she is going to look like and what kind of personality it's going to have.
Robin: It's amazing, right? To think that this little person is going to be with us in just a few short months.
Patrick: Really looking forward to meeting he or she.
Robin: Me, too.
Patrick: I guess what i'm trying to say is it's not about running and screaming to the nearest bar or nascar race. It's about acknowledging thechanges that are happening in my life and... Realizing that they're not all bad.
_________________________________________________________________________________________________
Sonny: Jason's refusing to do what I want.
Diane: Well, i'm sorry, Sonny, but if Jason won't take over the business, there's no way you can strongarm him into it.
Sonny: He'll come around.
Diane: With all due respect, Jason made a very sound argument. Your enemies are still going to know who you are and where to find you and your family.
Sonny: Diane, there's nothing I can do at this point. I'm at that level. That's why i want Jason to take over, because he's great at what he does. He'll take over the business and that way nobody will have a reason to come after me.
Diane: Maybe Jason truly doesn't want to take over the business.
Sonny: Well, he's going to have to, because I've got to get out, Diane. I'm not letting Carly take away my sons.
________________________________________________________________________________________________
Spinelli: Small towns with minimal crime are sprinkled like confetti across the continental U.S.
Carly: So pick a sprinkle. Just hurry up, please, Spinelli. Come on.
Spinelli: Does the valkyrie have a geographic preference? Mountains, desert, lakes?
Carly: An ocean would be nice. A lake, a river -- I -- you know, the most important thing is Sonny cannot find us.
[Door opens]
Spinelli: All right. Ah, Stone cold, your presence is most welcome.
Carly: I knew Spinelli would call you. Please tell him to stop stalling and get to work.
Spinelli: The Valkyrie has been exceedingly forceful in her demands and --
Carly: No, i just want you to get new identities for me and Morgan. And he can do it with his eyes closed.
Jason: Just hold on -- hold on We need to talk about this.
Carly: You're not going to change my mind. Unless you can get Sonny to sign over paternity of Michael and Morgan, you --
Jason: You're reacting right now without thinking. You can't do that this time. There's too much at stake, Carly.
Carly: No, i'm trying to keep my son safe -- maybe even save his life, Jason.
Jason: Spinelli. Thank you.
Carly: You can't talk me out of this.

Patrick: This scone's delicious.
Robin: Can you believe my mother brought them?
Patrick: No, your mother does not strike me as a scone and jam kind of woman.
Robin: She's not. I almost fell over when she showed up here wearing a business suit whith a bakery box in her hand.
Patrick: She's obviously overcompensating.
Robin: Yeah, a little bit. Well, you know, she was in denial about being a grandmother, and then she went to the complete other extreme in some attempt to be supportive, but that is not who she is any more than you're a diaper-changing little league dad.
Patrick: Hey, little league might not be so bad.
Robin: Listen, it's ok. There are no pre-assigned roles here. There are no expectations.
Patrick: So it's ok if i don't know what i want yet.
Robin: Absolutely.
Patrick: I love you more and more every day.
[Robin laughs]
Patrick: I'm not quite sure how me and you and this baby are all going to fit together, but...
Robin: You know what the good news is? We don't have to figure it all out right now. We can just let go.
Patrick: Ok, yeah, you let go and not overthink. I don't think so.
Robin: Ok, let's be honest. I will overthink this every single step of the way. But if we allow ourselves to just be in the moment, then maybe the future will take care of itself.

Johnny: You're a lot better at manipulation and dirty politics than i thought.
Lulu: Oh, are you afraid that i'm going to start to like it and double-cross you?
Johnny: I'm afraid that you're going to get hurt or worse.
Lulu: Do you trust me?
Johnny: Of course.
Lulu: Ok then, so you're trying to outwit your father, Trevor, Ric, and who knows who else, and you need help I'm sorry to say it, but i'm all you've got.
Johnny: Ok, but you've never dealt with these people before, Lulu.
Lulu: Are you saying that I can't handle it? Luke spencer has been a top-notch scam artist most of his life. I have learned plenty from him. I can lie and manipulate with the best of them, especially when it's for a good cause.
And there is no better cause than trying to rid you of your toxic family once and for all.
[Knock on door]
Trevor: John, your father needs your attention.
_____________________________________________________________________________________________
Diane: Well, I have tons of paperwork to draw up. Not that there's really any point. This whole transaction is never going to come to pass. But the hours are billable.
Max: The boss has certainly been keeping you busy lately.
Diane: Fortunately, the courthouse closed at five, so I am free for the evening.
Max: That's good news.
Diane: Would you like to join me at my house, Max, say in about an hour? I could whip us up a little dinner and we can take it from there.
Max: I'd love to, Diane.
Milo: We're really busy tonight. Remember, Bernie wants us to plug --
Max: You idiot, shut up. You know that we only discuss business in hypotheticals around Ms. Miller.
Milo: Ms. Miller, please don't do this.
Diane: Do what, Milo?
Milo: Mess up my brother's whole life and leave him flat.
_____________________________________________________________________________________________
Jason: Carly, you're panicking right now.
Carly: Don't tell me thatSonny's convinced you if he walks away from the mob, Morgan will be safe.
Jason: I mean, it's possible, but I --
Carly: Ok, fine, then you tell me that and I'm going to believe you. Can you guarantee me that if Sonny walks away from the mob that he'll never be a target again?
Jason: No, I can't.
Carly: Can you guarantee me that Morgan will be safe if he's ever near Sonny?
Jason: No, I can't.
Carly: Then the only way to keep Morgan away from Sonny is to run.
Jason: "Run" means you're going to go into hiding, which is going to change your life forever.
Carly: But it will keep Morgan safe and alive.
Jason: What about Jax?
Carly: Jax left, ok? He left me. He's had enough and I can't say that I blame him. But the point is, he's gone.
Jason: All right, but you say you love him so much, he loves you -- you don't think he's going to come back?
Carly: I don't know. I don't know. Maybe. But Jax made a choice and now I have to choose to protect my son.

Spinelli: Brave Maximista, the Jackal seeks your sage advice.
Maxie: Spinelli, i'm really sorry, but i'm on a crazy deadline.
Spinelli: I understand. Perhaps another time.
Maxie: Wait, wait. Ok -- ok, i've rolled all the calls to voicemail. Quick, tell me what's wrong.
Spinelli: Lives are being torn asunder while the jackal is forced to watch helplessly while others spin away from their center --
Maxie: I don't understand when you talk to me like that.
Spinelli: Ok, when young Michael was shot, Maximista warned the Jackal that the loss of a child could pull even the
closest family apart.
Maxie: Carly and Sonny are fighting?
Spinelli: The Valkyrie, Mr.Sir, and Stone cold are all in extreme disagreement. It's most painful to witness.
Maxie: Well, Michael's in a permanent coma. I mean, i could imagine how angry and hopeless they feel. It's got to be even worse than Georgie. I mean, Michael's still alive. And even though you know there's no hope, you're still waiting for a miracle and you can't ever completely let go.
Spinelli: Yeah, it is a tragedy for all, but rather than seeking solace in each other they're dealing with their loss in their
own highly contradictory ways. I wish to help, but I don't know how.
Maxie: Well, I told you, when people are upset they do dumb and self-destructive things. Trust me, that's why I told you there's really nothing you could do.
Spinelli: They're making such egregious mistakes.
Maxie: Spinelli, that's so sweet that you want to help them, but Sonny and Carly and Jason and Jax -- they're really going to have to figure this out on their own.
[Elevator opens]
Spinelli: Perhaps there is something the Jackal can accomplish after all.
Sonny: Maxie, did --
Spinelli: Mr. Sir, may I have a word?
Sonny: No, no, no.
Spinelli: Young Michael's condition is a tragedy for all who love him, but in order to protect your second --
Sonny: Don't talk -- don't talk about my children.
Spinelli: I'm just saying it might make sense to renounce paternity.
Maxie: Sonny!
Sonny: I told you not --
Maxie: Stop! You're hurting him!
Sonny: To talk about my kids.
Maxie: Let him go. Kate!
Kate: Sonny, stop!
Kate: Sonny, Sonny, let him go.
Maxie: I can't believe you. You were hurting him.
Sonny: Can you just get him out of here?
Maxie: Look, I get that you're some big, bad crime lord, but Spinelli was just making a suggestion, that's all. You didn't have to attack him.
Kate: Maxie, why don't you take Spinelli home? Make sure he's not injured.
Maxie: You didn't beat up Spinelli because he was wrong. You beat him up because you knew he was right. That doesn't change a thing.
Kate: Maxie, maxie.
Maxie: I'm leaving.
Sonny: Max --
Maxie: Oh! Come on.
Kate: So why on earth did you attack that boy?
Sonny: Because that boy said something about my children, and I lost it.
Kate: And that's your excuse for flying out of control?
Sonny: Well, the thing is that I'm sick of hearing people telling me that I don't love Morgan or Kristina and that I'm a bad father and, you know, it just goes down the line, so --
Kate: Sonny, sonny, sonny, I understand you're grieving. It doesn't give you the right to take it out on an innocent bystander.
Sonny: You're right. I agree with you. I shouldn't -- that should've never happened, ever. And i'm sorry. And what happened to michael should've never happened, and I'm sorry about that, too. But I'm a good father and I love my children, and whoever says different can go to hell.
