Robin: If this is your idea of a joke, Kelly --
Kelly: I -- I swear, swear --
Robin: This is not funny.
Kelly: No, I already double-checked.
Robin: Say there's been a mistake.
Kelly: Under the circumstances, I am as surprised as you are.
Robin: Just say anything other than the fact that --
Kelly: You're pregnant.
Robin: I'm pregnant?
Kelly: You're pregnant. You're a good four weeks along, which would put conception --
Robin: Oh -- around Christmas?
Kelly: So is there something or somebody you haven't told me about?
Patrick: Let me start from the beginning. Are you seeing things that defy plausibility or rational explanation? The last test results point to a condition that occurs in very few patients. But because of how the tumor is pressing on the brain, it can cause very vivid hallucinations.
Nikolas: So you're saying that I could -- I could see unexplained things?
Patrick: Are you seeing things, Nikolas?
Nikolas: Would you close the door, please?
Patrick: I'm expecting Robin.
Nikolas: Would you please just close the door?
Patrick: Yeah.
Nikolas: I don't want people to know about this.
Regina: The way Mr. Cassadine went after that guy with a bomb strapped to his chest --
Elizabeth: Well, at least the bomb turned out not to be real.
Regina: Well, Mr. Cassadine didn't know that. It's like something just snapped in him since his fiancée was murdered. It's like he doesn't care if he lives or dies -- sad really.
Elizabeth: I just want this whole thing to be over, and I'm glad it is and Nikolas is getting the care he needs. I still don't understand why I had to be transferred to a room. I just want to get Jake and go home.
Leo: I'm afraid that's not going to happen.
Max: Jason?
Max: We got a problem. A Zacchara supply ship was spotted coming down from the border, using one of our shipping lanes. If the boss finds out about this, he's going to lose his mind, and if he finds out that we didn't do anything about it --
Jason: Take -- take it out, just like they took ours out.
Logan: Look, you're making this situation more complicated than it needs to be. Why don't you just let the girl go?
Man: She's the insurance policy.
Logan: She's no use to you now!
Man: Neither of you are. Enjoy the ride.
[Kate chuckles]
Kate: You're being silly.
Sonny: No, I'm not. I'm -- I'm being dead serious. You love me, right?
Kate: Sonny --
Sonny: You love me, right?
Kate: Yes.
Sonny: And I love you, so we can't let stuff get in our way -- your world, my world. This is our world. We can't be touched. We can just be ourselves, be in love, think about what we're going to do for the rest of our lives. Now, I don't want to have to ask this twice. Kate Howard, Connie Falconeri, will you please do me the honor of being my wife?
Robin: I just don't know how this happened.
Kelly: Ok, you obviously have reasons for wanting to keep the details to yourself, but I would categorize this as happy news. You wanted to be pregnant.
Robin: I wanted to be pregnant my way -- you know, just controlled. I -- I -- I don't understand this.
Kelly: Assuming we rule out a virgin birth, there are a limited number of explanations. You either went to a sperm bank, had unprotected sex --
Robin: I -- what? No, I wouldn't do that. I wouldn't be irresponsible.
Kelly: Ok, well, then it's door number three -- you had sex. I'm thinking vigorous, mind-blowing, sexy, sexy sex.
Robin: Ok, wait, you can just stop.
Kelly: Ok, well -- hey, allow me a little bit of vicarious pleasure -- I am a recovering sex addict, thank you. So, while this guy was rocking your world, the condom broke, or it was defective
Robin: Defective?
Kelly: Yeah. You remember when the Quartermaines were in a hell of a mess not that long ago -- one of their companies was cranking out defective condoms? If you can prove that it was one of theirs --
Robin: Oh, come on, I'm not going to sue anyone.
Kelly: Hey, either way, you have a moral obligation to tell this guy that he was put at risk --
Robin: Right, but I --
Kelly: Even though your viral lode is at undetectable levels. And there's also the fact that he's going to be a father --
Robin: There's that.
Kelly: Provided you want him to know.
[Pager beeps]
Kelly: Oh -- I have an emergency. We need to set up an appointment so we can discuss your prenatal regimen.
Robin: Ok.
Nikolas: So, how real could these hallucinations get?
Patrick: Very. In rare but extreme cases, people not only claim that they see things, that they can smell them, touch them.
Nikolas: Oh. Well, even -- even like other people, say?
Patrick: There's a case on record of a woman that says she could see her husband, communicate with him. She was having a conversation with him one time about her daughter. When the phone rang, she picked it up, it was her husband, saying he was going to be late from work. She looked up, and he was gone.
Nikolas: Oh.
Patrick: She kept seeing him on the streets, in stores. She was convinced she was having premonitions of his death or hers. You can imagine how difficult it would be.
Nikolas: Yeah, I know.
Patrick: I'm convinced the psycho-emotional component intensifies the illusion -- like he was the love of her life. For you, you have the rage episodes, the blackouts, not to mention the drugs that jerry was injecting into you. Nikolas, are you experiencing any of the things that I'm describing?
Robin: Sorry I'm late. I just had an emergency -- consultation. So, what -- where are we on this?
Nikolas: Patrick was just telling me that this tumor could cause me to -- to see things that aren't really there.
Robin: That's right -- I -- I just went over Patrick's notes. So, I wanted to talk to you about a possible experimental drug treatment, which would be based on the hormones that were released in your blood during one of your --
Nikolas: That's -- that's fine. I just -- I want to get back to the hallucination thing for a moment. If I do start to see things, how long will it last?
Leo: You cut yourself pretty bad.
Elizabeth: Yes, and I was able to get Jake and drive him to the hospital.
Leo: Yep -- adrenaline's quite an amazing thing, isn't it? I don't have to tell you, though -- you're a nurse. As soon as it was done, though, you collapsed.
Elizabeth: Yeah, well, but Jake -- he just needs to be home.
Leo: But the good news is, is that he's in good health, he's ready to go home -- and you're not, so --
Elizabeth: I'll be careful.
Leo: Huh. Yeah, you -- you crawled into -- into broken glass and into a burning building, so I don't think I'll take your word on that.
Elizabeth: I'm going to get my grandmother to help me.
Leo: And you'd still end up doing too much, super mom. Look, you got to be careful not to risk opening up those stitches.
Elizabeth: How long?
Leo: A few days. That's it, I promise. In the meantime, make arrangements with your baby's father to come pick up your son.
Spinelli: Stone Cold?
Jason: What?
Spinelli: Your "protector of the night" services are much needed.
Jason: What happened?
Jerry: Are you sure?
Man: It was a one-man rescue party. I found the monk's hood the guy stole in the tunnel
Jerry: What tunnel?
Man: The one behind the hole.
Jerry: What hole?
Man: The one the girl knocked through the wall in her room.
Jerry: You're a bodyguard, finch. I think it's inherent in your job description to know who knocked down a wall to escape, don't you think?
Finch: I caught them both. What do you want me to do with them?
Jerry: That will depend on the actions of Mr. Zacchara, Finch.
Kate: Um -- being back here has stirred up a lot of memories. I think you're getting caught up in them.
Sonny: Only the -- the ones of you. I mean, yeah, this -- this -- you know, the neighborhood has cleaned up, brightened up, but there's a lot here that's hidden, that keeps wanting to pull me down, and I know that can't happen if I'm with you. Nothing can compare to us just being -- being happy together.
Kate: Sonny, this is very impulsive.
Sonny: No, no, it's not. The old restaurant, the movie theater -- this -- this is a place where you -- you left me waiting for you one night, heart in my hand. But I will say this. This night has a purpose.
Sonny: I don't want you to be afraid of my life, and I don't want you to think that I can't fit into yours. You ran away a long time ago. We had a chance to be together, but you know what? Maybe that was for a reason. Maybe it was to -- to -- to figure out what was really important. I don't need a machine to send out fortunes telling me where I should be, who I should be with. I know where I want to go, and I know who I want to be with. You have my heart.
Kate: And you have mine, too, Sonny.
Sonny: Then let me put a ring on your finger and make it official. I want -- I want this to be real, I want the whole world to know how I feel, but I'm not -- look, I -- I don't know how many times I'm going to be able to ask you this. Will you marry me?
Kate: I don't know what to say.
Sonny: Well, I mean, I could think of something short and sweet, to the point.
Kate: Oh, Sonny, it's not that simple.
Sonny: Yeah, it is. To me it is. My brother was dying at Wyndemere, and you -- and you talked my good side into giving him a transfusion to save his life. You know what? You saved my life, too.
Kate: Sonny, that good side was always there, I didn't do anything.
Sonny: But it hasn't come out in a long time, and -- and you brought it out. Now -- this is my second time on this corner, now, offering you my heart and soul. I'm not going to beg you. So, if you can't say yes, don't bother saying no.
[Kate whimpers]
Kate: Oh.
Robin: I'm sorry, I just walked in on this. Are you having hallucinations?
Nikolas: I don't -- I don't know. Maybe I am and don't know it, or -- or I just don't want to accept them as that. In any case, are they -- are they permanent?
Patrick: Well, that's the good news -- if we can find a way with drug therapy to shrink the tumor or a viable way to remove it --
Nikolas: Well, the doctor in Zurich wouldn't even consider operating.
Patrick: Well, Nikolas, Lippmann's good, but he isn't me, and doesn't have Robin on his team. I won't consider surgery unless I can find a way to manage the risks. I believe if we work together, we can find a way to shrink the tumor and remove it, and the hallucinations will stop.
Nikolas: And what if I don't do anything at all?
Robin: Well, we have to do something, Nikolas, or -- well, you could die.
Nikolas: I need to have a moment alone, please.
Patrick: Mm-hmm.
Robin: Of course.
Robin: Ahem.
Patrick: You ok?
Robin: Yeah, uh --
Patrick: You get checked out since your fall?
Robin: Yes, I did.
Patrick: Ok. And?
Robin: And -- uh -- all things considered, looks like I'm healthy enough for two.
Patrick: Ok, good.
Robin: Wait.
Patrick: Yeah?
Robin: I'll catch up with you later.
Patrick: Ok.
Robin: Whew.
[Knock on door]
Lucky: I have somebody here who wants to see you.
Elizabeth: Jake.
Lucky: Who's that?
Elizabeth: Hey, buddy! Hi! Do you miss mommy? Hi!
Lucky: The doctors say he's doing great.
Elizabeth: Oh, good.
Lucky: I didn't need them to tell me the reason is because you acted so quickly. I've seen enough smoke victims to know what you did was truly amazing.
Elizabeth: Well, I did what any parent would've done.
Lucky: Jason stop by to see you and Jake?
Elizabeth: No, uh-uh.
Lucky: Well, it's probably too hard to see the two of you, especially after the agreement we made.
Elizabeth: Well, I know it's hard for you being the father of record, being the one they're always going to call.
Lucky: You know, Jake -- he may not be mine, but it doesn't mean I wouldn't do anything to make sure he's ok.
Elizabeth: I'm glad to hear you say that, because I have a favor to ask.
Logan: Yeah, I should've gone with my instincts on this one, but I didn't. No, I had to tell Tracy and everybody else I ran across that I hadn't seen you. You just needed some space, you went to go see your mother. Then we get the message off spinhead's voicemail --
Lulu: Johnny told me.
Logan: He found you?
Lulu: Yeah.
Logan: I wanted to go to the cops, Spinelli wanted to go to Jason.
Lulu: Johnny knows what he's doing.
Logan: Does he? Johnny is the reason you've been kidnapped, ok? I'm pretty sure that whatever is on this boat, it's not legal. When we get out of here -- and we will get out of here -- I'm having Johnny arrested.
Lulu: No! If you go to the cops about Johnny, I will never speak to you again. I mean it.
Logan: Just how friendly did you two get in that tunnel?
Emily: You didn't want me here.
Nikolas: No.
Emily: Why? What did Patrick tell you?
Nikolas: You don't know?
Emily: I think I have an idea.
Nikolas: He says that you're just a hallucination, a byproduct of the -- of the tumor that I have. But you know -- you know that you're -- that you're something else to me, right, something more? You -- you know that you're here because of my love for you, right?
Emily: I am. I am, Nikolas. Or maybe I'm both -- I don't know. So, what does it mean?
Nikolas: I have to make a choice.
Elizabeth: Dr. Julian wants me to stay a few extra days just to make sure my stitches don't tear open.
Lucky: That's good -- I mean, considering. I mean, most of the time they push patients out of here. I remember when Jake -- he was born, they tried --
Elizabeth: Yeah, Ms. Sneed -- she said she was going to kick him out the next day, and you put the fear of god into her.
Lucky: You know, I meant what I said, I'd do anything for that little boy. I'd have gone into that house after him without a second thought.
Elizabeth: I know. Well, this favor doesn't involve rushing into burning buildings, but it's a lot for me to ask. Cameron's really freaked out. He doesn't know what's happened to me, and Jake has been through more than he can possibly understand. Gram has offered to take them, but I --
Lucky: No, it's ok. They're my sons -- not just on paper, and not just because of an agreement. You know what? I'll take a few days off, I'll watch them until you're back on your feet.
Jason: I want you to cancel the raid on the Zacchara ship until I give you word.
Max: Jason, our window of opportunity is closing.
Jason: Lulu Spencer is onboard, ok? Get a boat ready for me. Now, what else can you tell me?
Spinelli: Lulu said that there is a mysterious product aboard the ship for the elusive Mr. Moreau. He -- he's forcing Johnny Z into transporting it by kidnapping the fair one.
Jason: Where did Johnny go?
Spinelli: Said to take care of the shipment?
Lulu: There is no point in talking about Johnny -- you don't like him, and that's that.
Logan: You're damn right I don't like him. His family's in the business of drugs and violence. His father went out to kill you and almost did -- after goring the D.A. and a few other guests, not to mention bringing on your father's heart attack.
Lulu: Should I judge you by your father?
Logan: Nice, Lulu. Well, you know what? I may not like my old man, but as far as records go, I'm pretty sure his is a lot cleaner than Anthony Zacchara's -- not to mention saner. You think you know Johnny? You don't. You only know what that guy wants you to know, and that's what he uses to draw you in. And as soon as you're close enough, I guarantee you he will take advantage of you.
Lulu: No, he won't. Johnny doesn't want to see me get hurt.
Logan: Is that why you keep staring at that door over there? You think he's going to come to your rescue, Lulu? It's not going to happen. I am completely relaxed.
