Sam: These drugs were planted. You have to believe that.
Mac: Forensics will take a look. The team is taking prints.
Sam: My prints are going to be all over everything. Jerry would never overlook a detail like that.
Alexis: You know what? You need to be quiet.
Sam: No, I want to explain myself. Jerry Jacks set me up and I've been working undercover for months.
Mac: Undercover for who, the FBI? The ATF?
Sam: No, it was a private investigation.
Mac: Who else was involved?
Sam: No one. I was working for Karpov. I know Jerry is smuggling drugs. He figured out that I was on to him, so he framed me.
Jerry: You see, Sam's fingerprints will be all over the contraband that the police find in the apartment.
Karpov: I'm impressed.
Jerry: No, no, no. It was simple, really. Sam allowed herself to be so distracted by my affair with her mother. Poor Sam. She was practically begging to take the fall.
[Jerry chuckles]
Ric: Well, you obviously haven't thought this through. I'm not really sure that you're capable, so I'll help you out. If Sonny does decide to join the Zacchara organization, there's really nothing you can do about it, Jason, because we all know that you'd never lift a hand against Sonny.
Claudia: Run that by me again.
Sonny: Your father is offering me total control of the Zacchara organization. And as an act of good faith, I have to marry you.
Claudia: Please tell me you said no.
Maxie: Okay, are you guys ready?
Lulu: You're the one who's holding us up.
Maxie: Well, why am I even bothering to rescue you?
Spinelli: Peace, snarky blonde ones. Though it warms the Jackal's heart to see you revert back to your tempestuous relationship of yore, now is not the time, nor the place.
Maxie: You are right, Spinelli. I can point out all the ways Lulu is being petty and ungrateful when we get out of here.
Scott: Well, well, well. Party in the patient's room.
Maxie: How is that any of your business?
Scott: What's with the glasses?
Maxie: They're in style. Not that I would expect you to understand that concept.
Scott: And the lab coat?
Maxie: Well, it was freezing, so I just grabbed one and put it on. Can you believe they leave these things laying around? I mean, the cut is so bad, I can't blame them. But, there. Feel better? Now you can go.
Scott: Someone is trying to break out. Isn't that right, Lulu?
Spinelli: The Jackal takes umbrage with your rush to judgment, not to mention the dreadful treatment of Maximista during the Zacchara trial and the grievous emotional harm you've caused to the fair blonde one over the years.
Scott: Fast forward through that gibberish. Are you trying to break her out of here?
Sam: I have been meeting with Karpov for months. I've been landing cargo for him.
Mac: What kind of cargo?
Sam: I didn't ask any questions.
Mac: Was it pharmaceutical drugs?
Alexis: Don't answer that.
Sam: I have been spying on the two of them, and I saw with my own two eyes Karpov give Jerry a PDA, like I keep telling you, and I am sure that there is evidence on it.
Alexis: There's nothing on the PDA except Russian folk music and a nice recipe for --
Sam: Of course there isn't, because it's encrypted like I keep telling you. It has to be.
Alexis: Fine, then will you just check that out for me, please?
Sam: You have to know that I invited him over here to get that PDA. And when I got it, I was going to hand it straight to the police.
Alexis: You have to stop talking. You really have to stop talking because you are digging yourself into a hole that you're not going to be able to get out of. I want you to let Mac arrest you, and Diane will meet you down at the P.C.
Sam: I just want to know that you believe me. I want you to know there is no way in the world that I would ever smuggle counterfeit drugs for a profit.
Alexis: You need to stop talking. You are just getting yourself in more trouble.
Sam: You do understand he is pitting us against each other, don't you?
Alexis: Is that what you were doing in the hot tub?
Sam: You're kidding me.
Alexis: Lucky --
Mac: Lucky, what are you doing here?
Lucky: I picked up the call off dispatch. They said you were serving a warrant?
Mac: This isn't your case.
Lucky: I know, I just -- I thought I need to be here because Sam and I were once involved.
Robin: Epiphany, do you have the tests back on Mr. Sherman yet?
Epiphany: Did I page you?
Robin: If you did, I didn't hear you.
Epiphany: Weren't the instructions on the chart to page you once the tests were back?
Robin: Yes.
Epiphany: Well?
Robin: Is there a problem?
Epiphany: You bet there's a problem. What do you two think you're doing?
Robin and Patrick: We're getting married.
Anthony: Ric makes an excellent point. Never threaten an associate unless you're ready to back it up.
Jason: I'm not making any threats. I'm just telling you how things will work. If you try to use Sonny against me, I will tear your organization apart. I will shut you down. No shipments will land, no money will be collected. I can shut you down without leaving a scratch on Sonny.
Anthony: You're welcome to try.
Jason: You rebuilt your house. Looks nice.
[Anthony laughs]
Anthony: That's good. Excellent. Really, excellent. Who knew?
Ric: I'll admit that your plan does sound good in theory -- if you were successful to be able to shut down the Zacchara organization and leave Sonny untouched, but it's not going to happen. See, there's a fatal flaw in your reasoning that's pretty simple for most people to understand. See, you are assuming Sonny is just going to step aside while you destroy the organization that he wants to run. Sonny knows the only way he's going to get at Karpov is through the Zaccharas. And if you get in the way of that, well, it's going to force Sonny into a confrontation. And then where are you gong to be, Jason? Could you really pull a gun on Sonny?
Claudia: I need to hear some magic words here. Words like, "no," "no, hell, no," "unthinkable" -- stuff like that.
Sonny: Do you really believe I'd marry you?
Claudia: If the price was right and the deal was sweet enough, yeah. We wouldn't be having this conversation if it --
Sonny: I'm in love with Kate.
Claudia: Yeah, but Kate got shot at your wedding, so it doesn't bode real well for you and Kate.
Sonny: I'm not going to have a conversation with you about Kate right now.
Claudia: You brought it up.
Sonny: Yeah, I did, so I'm going to tell you exactly what's going on here. I can't go after Karpov on my own, unfortunately, because he's so deeply connected to the Russian syndicate.
Claudia: Daddy actually offered you the Zacchara organization?
Sonny: First thing I do is take out Karpov. I'd run the organization as I see fit. And then, as an act of good faith, I'd marry you.
Claudia: Makes sense from a business perspective.
Sonny: Never going to happen.
Scott: You understand -- move -- Lulu, that you can't just run off with pee wee. You need help.
Lulu: Who wouldn't need help after the way that you harassed me?
Spinelli: Yeah, the Jackal agrees most heartily.
Maxie: You made this whole experience as painful and as difficult for Lulu as you possibly could. From the very beginning, you jumped to the conclusion that Johnny was guilty before my dad could even begin the investigation. And then you chased Lulu and Johnny down like dogs when he was only trying to help her. You made sure she ended up in a straightjacket and padded cell.
Spinelli: A most unhappy place to be.
Lulu: You lied and said that Logan was a cop so you could try and get Johnny a lethal injection.
Spinelli: An act for which you should be disbarred.
Maxie: But the worst thing you did was dragging Lulu to the witness stand when you knew she was in no place to testify.
Scott: Oh, obviously, that was a big mistake.
Maxie: You don't really care whether or not Lulu gets well. You just want to punish her because she didn't love your pig of a son.
Spinelli: Maximista's analysis is quite astute.
Scott: I told you to be quiet.
Maxie: Logan Hayes was a mean, sadistic jerk.
Scott: So he deserved to die?
Lulu: No.
Maxie: Even if he didn't, you have no right coming in here and terrorizing a mental patient when she's just trying to visit with her friends.
Scott: Well, you're right about that. She is a mental patient. She -- there is mental illness in her family. She simply made the mistake of running off with the wrong guy, kind of what her mother did and you saw that turned out. Listen, I know that you think that I am a jerk.
Lulu: Jerk does not quite cover it.
Scott: But what I am doing here by not letting these fools take you out of here, I am actually helping you, Lulu.
Mac: We found a large quantity of pharmaceutical drugs in this apartment. Do you know anything about that?
Lucky: No.
Sam: Good, then you have no reason to be here.
Alexis: She has a point.
Sam: I mean, really, does any cop who feels like it get to barge in my apartment when they want to?
Mac: We have a warrant. Stick around, Lucky.
Sam: I mean, you bailed on me months ago. You've been practically stalking me all over town and you show up here at my apartment when I'm getting arrested. You're not even on the case. Do I have any rights at all?
Alexis: The right to remain silent, okay?
Sam: Why? I didn't do anything. I have nothing to hide.
Mac: Alexis, why did you arrive before we arrived to serve a warrant?
Alexis: Because I wanted Sam to explain these pictures.
Sam: What pictures?
Mac: What was going on when you got here?
Alexis: Sam was making out with Jerry in the hot tub.
[Sam scoffs]
Ric: I know you have trouble thinking long term, Jason, so let me put it in perspective for you. Well, Sonny gave you the organization. Now he wants it back and you don't want to give it to him, so that makes you an enemy, even more than Karpov. But not because -- not because it's going to spoil his happily-every-after with Kate. Because it has to do with power, you know? Prestige, money, respect. See, Sonny wants that all back. That's the only reason he got involved with the Zaccharas, because he wants to come after you. And I don't know when it's going to happen. It's going to be maybe tomorrow, maybe 10 years from now. But at some point, Sonny is going to have to make a decision and threaten your life to get back what is rightfully his. And you're going to have to make a choice.
Jason: This is what you've wanted all along. This whole time you wanted Sonny so turned around that he can't tell the difference between friends and the enemy.
Ric: Hmm, you know what's really ironic, though? See, I spent all those years trying to bring Sonny down, and now the person who is going to do all the dirty work is you. Just like always.
Claudia: It wouldn't be the first time Daddy tried to get rid of me, but, you know, no offense, your wives don't fare too well.
Sonny: Zacchara family politics aren't my problem.
Claudia: It's too late for that. You already let Daddy know you wanted something. I don't have to tell you, I mean, you've been a boss for a long time -- you were. Plus, you must be considering it, or we would not be having this conversation.
Sonny: There are major weaknesses in your father's organization. He's an old man. Trevor doesn't want to get his hands dirty. Your brother is a loose cannon. You know, he needs someone to run things.
Claudia: You need something to run. You're sick and tired of sitting out there on the sidelines, right? I mean, obviously you are motivated to go after Karpov, but what's really driving you here is that you want back in. You want to be a gangster again. And if you want to do that, then you're going to have to talk yourself into marrying me.
Sonny: So you would actually consider marrying me?
Claudia: Every marriage I've ever seen up close and personal has ended badly or tragically. I just don't really see the point of it. Besides, you seem to hate me most of the time. But we still could have great sex.
Sonny: So you would marry me?
Claudia: Not a chance. You're going to have to find another way to prove your loyalty to my father. And good luck with that, by the way.
Scott: Lulu, I want you to get well, believe me. My son loved you until the day that he died. And for his sake, I want you to take your medication.
Maxie: Don't listen to him. He's totally trying to psych you out.
Spinelli: The Jackal agrees.
Maxie: Logan was a creep.
Scott: Look, these two claim to be your friends, but really they are doing you an injustice here, all right? They cooked up some half-baked scheme to break you out of here, and it's not going to work.
Spinelli: Okay, if the loathsome lawyer does not stop badgering fair Lulu, I will contact the Shadybrook staff.
Scott: And they will come in here and throw a butterfly net over you.
Maxie: You know, is your name even on the visitor's list?
Scott: I've got a badge. I can do what I want.
Spinelli: Then I will contact fair Lulu's brothers who will no doubt insist that you keep your distance.
Scott: Oh, how is lucky these days? Is he still scoring goofballs down at the docks?
Spinelli: Just back off, you loathsome worm, or the Jackal will land on you like the Goth God of Zune.
Scott: Or we can get Nikolas over here. I'm sure he'd like to see his sister having a nervous breakdown.
Lulu: That would be good. I would like to watch my brothers kick your ass.
Patrick: Hey, what's up with Epiphany?
Robin: I don't know. I thought she would have been happy to be invited to the wedding.
Patrick: Yeah.
Robin: Why don't you go ask her why she's mad?
Patrick: Are you -- you go -- I'm not asking her.
Robin: I'm not asking her, I'm pregnant.
Patrick: You -- are you --
Robin: Yeah, I don't --
Epiphany: Dr. Drake?
Epiphany: Your EKG. Dr, Scorpio, your test results.
Patrick: Wow.
Robin: Thank you so much.
Patrick: Yeah, this is great.
Robin: This is exactly --
Epiphany: Yep, I'm doing my job. I suggest you do yours.
Robin: All right, Epiphany, why are you so mad at us?
Patrick: Yeah, is there a problem with us getting married?
Epiphany: You two have driven me and my staff to distraction the moment that you laid eyes on each other. One moment you're screaming at each other, the next you're getting way too personal in the supply room. Then you commandeer the P.A. System. You to ask her to marry you. You to tell him the reasons why you can't. But I can handle all that.
Patrick: And we do, we really appreciate your patience.
Epiphany: But, however, now that you two have decided to make up your minds and get married, what do you go and do?
Robin: Uh, have a wedding?
Epiphany: Which you're going to try to pull off in less than two weeks with a baby that's almost here. Which is going to give you both all kinds of reasons to argue and micro-manage. And I'm telling you right now that I'm not having it.
Patrick: But we haven't argued about the wedding at all.
Robin: No.
Epiphany: It's only a matter of time.
Robin: Really, we agree on almost everything.
Epiphany: Now I know you're lying.
Robin: It's true, because Maxie is the one that's making all the arrangements. See, all Patrick and I have to do is show up, get married, and have a good time.
Epiphany: Mm-hmm.
Robin: Epiphany, look on the bright side. Patrick and I may always fight about stupid, petty things, but we don't fight over the big stuff.
Epiphany: We'll see.
Robin: Well, uh, have fun with Epiphany tonight.
Patrick: No, no, no, you're not leaving.
Robin: I suddenly got very, very sleepy.
Patrick: You traitor.
Robin: Bye.
