Nikolas: I appreciate that offer. I really do, but honestly, I have a team of lawyers working on this thing, and I'm sure that they can come up with something better than you and I getting married.
Nadine: Oh, it's no problem. And according to these websites, you are in a serious bind. And no matter how fancy your lawyers are --
Nikolas: No, I --
Nadine: And after all, you have saved my life on more than one occasion. The least thing I could do is -- is make sure that you're not deported to some foreign country, so --
Nikolas: Where are you going?
Nadine: Oh, you should see the list of errands I have to do. I mean, just because this is a marriage of convenience doesn't mean that it's not going to be done right.
Nikolas: But -
Carly: Diane wouldn't want me talking to you.
Jax: You agree with what she said?
Carly: Not about taking you to the cleaners, but about you leaving when I need you, yes. You say that you don't want to live in chaos, but every time you leave and I don't know where you're going or when you're coming back, that's chaos for me.
Jax: I never thought about it that way.
Carly: I know I'm not perfect, but I have never left you and I have never once threatened to divorce you. I want this marriage more than anything.
Jax: But you can't stay away from Sonny, Carly.
Carly: I did not sleep with Sonny, no matter what I told the police.
Jax: I know.
Carly: And I'm trying to remind myself that beneath all this anger and pain, you really want to stay married to me. That's why you can't make up your mind about the divorce. I need you to have faith in us and our marriage, because we love each other, and we're good for each other, and I think we deserve another chance.
Carly: Jax... so much is landing on you at one time. Did you talk to Lady Jane about Jerry?
Jax: She refuses to believe that he's dead. She thinks the phone call I got -- I mean, the hang-up -- was his way of checking in.
Carly: Did you tell her about us?
Jax: No.
Carly: That's because you don't want this breakup anymore than I do.
Jax: I just don't know how we can --
[Kate clears throat]
Kate: Jax. Carly.
Jax: Hi.
Kate: Um, Sonny and I have broken up for good. The engagement is over. There'll be no marriage. So, Sonny is all yours.
Olivia: I got to talk to my son. Can someone get my cell phone?
Elizabeth: We're going to get you a phone as soon as we settle you into your room.
Olivia: No, no, I've got to talk to him right now.
Elizabeth: Do you want somebody else to call him for you?
Olivia: No, no. If you call him, he's just going to be upset.
Elizabeth: Where was the fire?
Olivia: It was down at the coffee house. I was there to see your guy, Jason.
Elizabeth: Was he there?
Olivia: I think he helped Sonny get me out of the building.
Sonny: The only way to back off the Russians is to retaliate.
Jason: I wouldn't have to retaliate if you hadn't gone after Karpov. You started this. Do you know what this is going to cost the people who used to work for you, who used to trust you with their lives?
Sonny: What are you talking about? Karpov damn near killed me. He put weights on my legs. He stabbed in me in the side. He threw me off a pier. If Carly wasn't there to get me out of there, I'd be dead. What does that matter to you?
Spinelli: As you can see, the evildoers have struck in a most heartless manner, and the Jackal feels that this inferno must be connected to the conflagration which destroyed the beloved Kelly's and put the loyal father of Mr. Sir in the hospital. That's what I'm thinking.
Sonny: You should have known the truce wasn't going to last that long. You sat on your hands too long. Look what happened.
Jason: Trust me. I'll do whatever it takes to protect my people and my organization and that means cutting all ties with you.
Patrick: Okay, you ready?
Robin: Yeah.
Patrick: Do you have the key?
Robin: I've been in the hospital on the road to death. I don't think I have my key.
Patrick: Okay, I got mine somewhere here. Come on.
Robin: Why don't we just call the super?
Patrick: No, no, I have them somewhere here.
Robin: You know, I might have it, I don't know, in my purse or something. Yay! Daddy found the key, Emma. That means we're going home.
Patrick: You ready?
Patrick: Got it?
Patrick: Welcome home, baby girl. I'm so glad you're here, and you need to get some rest.
Robin: Yeah, I think I'll just feel better if I'm able to put my feet up.
Patrick: Okay, give me a second, and I'll be over there.
Robin: Help me take my shoes off. That would be great.
Patrick: You all right?
Robin: Yeah. I'm still sore from the C-section, which means you're going to have to do a lot of the heavy lifting around here for a while.
Patrick: That's not a problem. We survived med school. We have the little baby handbook. How hard can it be?
Robin: Yeah. It's going to be fine. Oh.
Patrick: What?
Robin: I think she needs to be changed, dad.
Kate: I got to hand it to you, Carly. I mean, it took a while, and it probably helped that I got shot at the altar, but you did what you set out to do.
Carly: I have no idea what you're talking about.
Kate: No? Really? You were so determined to destroy my relationship with Sonny, and everybody -- everybody warned me how Sonny couldn't stay away from you. But, I mean, really, who could? You're everywhere, and you seem to have this astonishing gift of showing up at the right time in the right place, just making sure that Sonny needs you. Well, congratulations. I'm no match for hurricane Carly. You just kept pounding away until you won.
Carly: It's so typical of you to blame me for your own failures. You're a bitter, pathetic snob who couldn't stop carrying a torch for her high school boyfriend. It's a little sick.
Kate: Jax, I sincerely hope that you're not being convinced in yet another round of reconciliation. I mean, Jasper Jacks really doesn't settle for second best.
[Phone rings]
Kate: Kate Howard.
Epiphany: This is Nurse Johnson at General Hospital. I am calling to notify you that your cousin, Olivia Falconeri, has just been admitted.
Kate: What happened? Is Olivia okay?
Epiphany: Ms. Falconeri is being treated for smoke inhalation. Her injuries are not life threatening, but she listed you as next of kin.
Kate: Okay, thank you. I'll -- I'll be right there.
Jax: What's wrong?
Kate: My cousin, Olivia -- she was in some sort of fire.
Carly: That woman is unbelievable. Saying that her breakup with Sonny is my fault and then, in the next breath, she's warning you to stay away from me? What the hell is that?
Jax: Actually, I agreed with what Kate said.
Jason: You were determined to get revenge, and now we're all going to pay.
Sonny: I told you the Russians were just waiting to make a move. You wouldn't take action, and now you let everything get completely out of control --
Jason: It doesn't matter. I got to clean up the mess. Just stay out of the way.
Spinelli: The Jackal's certain that any questions you may have can surely wait.
Jason: It's -- it's okay, Spinelli.
Lucky: Do you have any idea how it started?
Jason: Just talk to my attorney, Lucky.
Sonny: I came around. The place was on fire. It was trashed inside. You can probably find the accelerant around the bar. The barista was beaten up real bad. I helped him out, and then I went inside Jason's office, because there was a woman lying on the floor. Her name is Olivia Falconeri. They're both at General Hospital.
Lucky: Any idea who started it?
Sonny: No, no, I didn't see anything. I assume they were after Jason.
Patrick: [Whispering] I got her to sleep.
Patrick: You okay?
Robin: Yeah. I'm great. You look like you could sleep for a year.
Patrick: I've done marathon surgeries. I've driven a car for hours on end, and I've never experienced anything like this before.
Robin: Maybe it will get easier?
Patrick: Well, the book said that she should sleep from anywhere from 12-18 hours a day, so --
Robin: Yeah, I think that might mean every other hour.
Patrick: You know, I've never been really big on counting my blessings. I was a little too arrogant for that. But Emma changed that, and when I almost lost you, I honestly couldn't picture my life without you, so I prayed for a miracle, and you're here.
[Emma cries]
Patrick: Are you --
Robin: Oh.
Patrick: Kidding me?
Carly: I cannot believe you're falling for Kate Howard's garbage. You know the only thing she's after is revenge.
Jax: Well, that is a matter of interpretation, now, isn't it?
Carly: Interpr --
Jax: Yes.
Carly: If she can't be with Sonny, she doesn't want you to be with me. I'm sorry -- what's to interpret?
Jax: Everyone warned Kate about Sonny, partly because of the mob and partly because he always ends up with you.
Carly: What are you doing? I -- I thought we were getting somewhere here.
Jax: Yeah, so did I, but you can be very persuasive, and I almost forgot that you and Sonny will always end up in this dysfunctional dance, and the people who love you are the ones that get hurt.
Carly: Jax, Kate is just trying to get even, okay? She's probably going to start throwing herself at you next.
Jax: No, Kate would never be that obvious. She would probably wait for me to make the first move, and perhaps I should.
Matt: Olivia Falconeri. Monitor her blood oxygen levels. Keep in at her breathing -- if -- well, if she doesn't have any headaches or nausea, if she stays stable, she can go home tomorrow.
Elizabeth: Did she happen to mention how she got caught in that fire?
Matt: I'm into the medicine, not the drama, but if she's working for gangsters, what can she expect, right?
Elizabeth: Sonny, I'm sorry to hear about that fire.
Sonny: It's all right. They say Olivia Falconeri's on this floor.
Matt: That's right.
Sonny: Are you her doctor?
Matt: I am.
Sonny: Olivia Falconeri's doctor?
Matt: Yeah. Yeah, she's fine. We're monitoring her smoke inhalation right now, but she'll probably go home tomorrow.
Elizabeth: Room 1020, down the hall. I have to get out of here early.
Epiphany: It's none of my business, but if you're going where I think you're going, it's a bad idea.
Olivia: It wasn't that serious, honey. You know how hospitals are. I'm fine. No -- yes. Yeah, you can reach me here in the morning at the same number. Okay. I love you, Dante.
Sonny: Are you in the habit of lying to your son?
Olivia: I'm sure what you meant to say was "Hello, Olivia. I'm glad to see you weren't badly hurt. Nice to see you alive, taking in oxygen."
Sonny: What were you doing at the coffee house?
Olivia: I was arranging protection for my cousin, with all that's going on right now, if you must know.
Sonny: Protection? So you went to see Jason instead of me?
Olivia: You got that kind of staff anymore?
Sonny: Ouch.
Olivia: Sonny, what were you thinking starting this war you're in no position to fight?
Sonny: So, now it's my fault? I just saved your life. At least you could show me a little gratitude.
Olivia: Yeah, I'd show you a hell of a lot more gratitude if I wasn't in the middle of some mob war that you brought down on all of us.
Spinelli: How shall Stone Cold address this grievous wrong? Rest assured, the Jackal will be at your service should you decide to take it to the mattresses, as it were.
Jason: It's -- it's "mat." You take it to the mat. Like -- like in wrestling.
Spinelli: Do you mean like in Greco-Roman or professional? Oh -- just -- regardless, I am prepared to man up and assist if required.
Jason: Give me a second. Okay, I need you to go home. I need you to find out if Karpov has any connections to any major drug cartels, okay? I need you to see if you can find out about the Russian tattoos. Find out who's paying for this, and find out where they're staying in Port Charles.
Spinelli: You're send -- I get it. You're sending me home to keep me out of harm's way, I --
Jason: No, no. It takes a lot of courage to do what you do for me. I need your help with this. I know you're going to do a good job.
Spinelli: Okay, I'm sufficiently soothed.
Jason: Listen, I trust you, okay? Find out as much as you can, as fast as you can.
Spinelli: I'm on the case.
Jason: Now we take the Russians out.
[Maxie screams]
Lulu: You didn't have to take me to dinner at the Metro Court. That like the most expensive place you could have picked.
Johnny: Well, your mother did just leave the country, and your family's diner did just burn down, and not just anybody can stand up to my sister.
Lulu: Oh, well. I probably said too much. I'm just happy that your family had nothing to do with this. My Aunt Bobbie and my dad will probably want to rebuild, anyway.
Johnny: I'd be more than happy to put up money.
Lulu: Thank you, but I'm sure Nikolas or the Quartermaines -- they might pay for it, but we might even have insurance.
Johnny: Well, I could have crews here by the morning.
Lulu: Okay, don't take this the wrong way, but you know that I hate your dad and everything he represents, and I don't care if we have to build this place with our own bare hands. There is no way my family is taking a dime from the Zaccharas.
Johnny: Okay, who do you think just paid for the dinner we had? Who do you think buys my fancy cars and fills them up with gas?
Lulu: Maybe it's time that you start making changes in your life.
Johnny: You're right.
Sonny: You know what I love about you, Olivia? You come into town, and you blame me for everything when you don't even know what's really going on. Why were you near the coffee house, like I asked you before?
Olivia: I'm not allowed to order a latte?
Sonny: Well, you already told me that you were there to see Jason.
Olivia: So, who cares? I could have been any customer coming in there to get a cup of coffee and got stuck in the middle of a mob war.
Sonny: And I would have pulled you out, just the same as I did.
Olivia: Oh, don't even try to turn this into something that's reasonable, Sonny.
Sonny: No, I'm just trying to tell you to stay out of trouble.
Olivia: Trouble that you keep causing, like always.
Sonny: Don't get mad, because you know it's not good for you.
Olivia: Don't tell me to not get mad.
Sonny: What?
Olivia: What?
Sonny: You're always mad.
Olivia: You're always causing trouble.
Sonny: Well, because you -- you like trouble. That's why you're always mad.
Olivia: Sweet God. You are the most arrogant, egotistical man I have ever --
Sonny: Well, that -- see what I'm talking about? Because you know I'm right. That's why you're saying that.
Jason: No negotiations. We hit back. We keep hitting. We make this so expensive and deadly for the Russians to be in this city that they want to leave town.
Cody: That could take a while.
Jason: Oh, it's going to take a while, but when it's done, no one will ever start a war with me again.
Spinelli: Maxie?
