Claudia: Daddy?

Anthony: Hello.

Claudia: I thought you might like to know I'm getting married tonight.

Anthony: Good. Sonny's a man of his word.

Claudia: And what am I?

Anthony: A beautiful daughter, at last doing what you know is in the best interest of the family.

Claudia: Everybody gets what they want.

Anthony: Especially you, Claudia. You'll literally be in bed with all that power.

Claudia: I thought we'd do it at Sonny's.

Anthony: No. It happens here. I want this done my way. I'll start making arrangements.

Claudia: Candles and flowers?

Anthony: Ah, my son, you're home just in time.

Johnny: For what?

Anthony: You can be a witness. Your sister is marrying Sonny tonight.

Johnny: If Claudia marries Sonny, I walk away from this family for good.

Kate: Would you do the honors?

Jax: Gladly.

Kate: Oh, you know you're the only reason that I'm not running out that door and back to him, right? I mean, that's what he wanted, right? That's what he wants me to do, to go after him.

Jax: If you go after Sonny, let me tell you what will happen. He will break off his engagement with Claudia. He'll tell you that he loves you and then, somehow, he'll find his way back to Carly because that's what always happens. And because misery loves company. What we should do is rise above it.

Kate: Okay. To Sonny and Carly. May they wind up hurting each other as much as they've hurt us.

Max: Claudia Zacchara called. Her father wants you two married at his house. Apparently, he's taking care of things.

Sonny: Well, what's the father of the bride supposed to do, Max?

Max: Boss, this isn't a very good idea.

Sonny: I've had my share of good ideas. Where did it get me?

[Knock on door]

Max: Hey.

Carly: I hear you're going to marry Claudia Zacchara.

Sonny: What are you going to do to stop me?

image

Johnny: I can't believe you're just throwing your life away like this.

Claudia: I'm getting this out of this, too, Johnny. Things that I need. Things I don't have. Things for you.

Johnny: You have her believing that selling herself off like cattle is the only way to bring Sonny into this organization and build it up.

Anthony: And we'll be that much stronger when it's time for you to take over.

Johnny: I don't care. I don't want it. You're buying me an empty, miserable life. You know that?

Anthony: It's too late, John. Just sit back and let your sister do this for you.

Johnny: If the two of you go through with this, I am out.

Anthony: Sure.

Johnny: I mean it. I will walk away from this business, from this family, from you.

Anthony: Talk some sense to your brother, Claudia. I got things to do.

Claudia: Johnny, please. I know you don't like it, but I have to do this.

Johnny: What? Marry a guy who will kill you if he finds out that you put his son in a coma?

Claudia: I'm not planning on bringing that up on my wedding night or ever.

Johnny: There is plenty of time for that truth to come out, Claudia. Plenty of people know.

Claudia: Like who? You, me, Daddy?

Johnny: Nikolas Cassadine.

Claudia: There's nobody for him to tell. John, Johnny, I need you here with me. I love you, and you are the only person that I trust.

Johnny: Hey, and I love you, too, Claudia. Which is why I don't want you taking this risk to get me something that I don't want. Unless you're lying to yourself and thinking that once you and Sonny are married, he's going to fall in love with you.

Claudia: I'm doing this.

Johnny: Then I won't stand by and watch.

Claudia: Johnny, please. I need you here with me.

Johnny: The bride wears black, huh? Mourning your choice already.

image

Carly: Do not do this.

Sonny: I have my reasons.

Carly: There's not a good enough reason in the world to marry Claudia Zacchara.

Sonny: I need to know the truth.

Carly: The truth about what, Sonny?

Sonny: Okay, through everything, up until the last second, Karpov said he didn't shoot Kate. What if he was telling the truth?

Carly: Who then? The Zaccharas?

Sonny: I don't know. Ric, Anthony, Claudia. All I'm saying is I will be in a position to find out.

Carly: No, you're going to be in a position to die, because someone is going to be waiting to double-cross you, and they are going to take you out.

Sonny: I'm willing to take that chance.

Carly: Does Jason know about this?

Sonny: What? There's no need to bring him up right now. I just want you to do something for me, okay?

Carly: What's that?

Sonny: Okay, if you don't want to do it for yourself, do it for Morgan. Take the gun.

Carly: No.

Sonny: I am marrying Claudia tonight. Look --

Carly: Do not do this. Do not do this.

Sonny: It's no secret that you are my ex-wife. We have kids together. Right? You gave me the alibi when Karpov died. The syndicate could be coming after you. You need to protect yourself and protect Morgan. Un.

Carly: What about Kate? Does she know you're going to marry Claudia tonight?

Sonny: I went over to her place to tell her, and she was with Jax.

Carly: Doing what?

Sonny: She acted like she didn't give a damn, but I know she was hurt. But it's better that Kate's hurt than dead.

image

Kate: No, Clarice, I told you I already sent it. Well, why don't you look harder? Thank you.

Jax: What's that?

Kate: Oh, just one of the dozens of seating arrangements for my wedding with Sonny. I agonized over this.

Jax: There.

Kate: Okay, thanks.

Jax: Agony over?

Kate: So you want to tell me how wronged you've been?

Jax: No, I don't.

Kate: You sure?

Jax: Instead of talking about those -- those things, let's just forget about the past. Let's move on to something a little more fun.

Kate: Well, you know what they say -- living well is the best revenge.

Jax: Yeah, they say that -

Alexis: Did you come here for another assault? Why don't you just take a bat to my head?

[Diane laughs]

Diane: Oh, come on. Why don't we leave our lawyer hats off for a while? Mine wreaks havoc with my hair. When we're on the job, we do what we have to do for our clients. Right now, I am off the clock and here for my friend.

Alexis: You went after me personally, friend.

Diane: Mm-hmm, I did. To prove a point.

Alexis: Do you honestly believe that I didn't know Jerry was up to his neck in criminal activity and that my daughter might be telling the truth when she said that he set her up? I was trying to set him up. The righteous indignation was to make him comfortable enough so that he would slip up.

Diane: And then you were going to what? Turn him in?

Alexis: What does it matter, anyway? The harbor patrol said that he's blown into oblivion. Saves me the trouble of having to break up with him.

Diane: I know that you wanted to believe that Jerry had changed for his brother.

Alexis: I believed Jerry had changed so that I might have someone to be with every now and then. I wanted to have somebody --

Diane: You want what we all want.

Elizabeth: I calmed the boys down the best I could.

Sam: Well, it's still quiet out there. Listen, you have three bullets left.

Elizabeth: Okay, what about you?

Sam: I'm out. Go back with the boys.

Elizabeth: And leave you out here alone?

Sam: Just do it, please. If it starts sounding rough out here, I want you to take the boys and jump out of the window. I'll make a diversion.

Elizabeth: Are you crazy? I'm not going to leave you out here alone --

Sam: I can take care of myself. Start acting like a mother. Go.

Elizabeth: The car --

Sam: Do not even go to the car. The first thing they probably did was mess with the engine or slice the tires. Just go, please.

Elizabeth: Okay.

[Gunshots and glass shattering]

[Sam struggles]

[Gunshot]

Elizabeth: Is he --

Sam: Yeah, he's dead. You need to get down. Elizabeth. Are you -- are you okay?

Elizabeth: I don't know.

Sam: You saved my life.

Elizabeth: Take this. I don't ever want to touch it again.

Sam: Listen to me, listen to me. You just need to breathe, okay?

Elizabeth: I just killed a man.

Sam: Yes, who would have killed you and your children. You have to keep reminding yourself of that. It's just -- it's how you're going to get through this.

Elizabeth: Just tell me this is over.

Sam: I hope so.

Elizabeth: Okay. Okay.

image

Jason: Listen, Bernie, I'm not going to worry about a fire in an empty storehouse on the outside of town, okay? It just doesn't make any sense for the Russians to target it unless -- unless they're trying to draw my attention away from what they're really up to. Yeah, no. No, no. Right now I'm just going to check in on Elizabeth and the kids and Sam. Yeah, Lucky was supposed to take them up there, but he got called into work. So they went up there on their own. Right, right. I'll just -- listen, I'll call you as soon as I get a chance, okay? There's no cell service up there. So, you're probably going to get a call from the cabin landline on your caller I.D. All right? Hello? Bernie?

[Phone rings]

Jason: Come on, come on. Answer the phone.

Operator: The number you are calling is currently out of order.

Ric: You look beautiful.

Claudia: Thank you.

Ric: Not the most traditional or auspicious color for a bride-to-be, but, you know, you have to take into account --

Claudia: Daddy called you.

Ric: Ah, daddy summoned me. Looks like I'm going to be part of the family sooner than I thought.

Claudia: I'm glad that you got here early, because I want you to know this doesn't have to change anything between us, Ric.

Ric: Oh, don't you think that I might have a problem sleeping with my brother's wife?

Claudia: Some men would, but I think in your eyes, it just makes me a hotter ticket.

Trevor: Don't tell me, Richie. Are you the best man?

Ric: It depends on the job, Trevor.

Trevor: Well, mazal tov. And you, Claudia, finally you decided to make yourself useful.

Claudia: Unlike you, who gets more expendable every day.

Anthony: Hey, is that any way for family to act?

Trevor: And where is John?

Claudia: He couldn't make it.

Anthony: Oh, good. The padre's here. Claudia, introduce yourself. Ric, Trevor.

Claudia: I know you.

Walter: And my wife. You came by my office one night. Are you and Mr. Morgan going to have another try at this?

Claudia: Um, same bride, different groom. He -- actually, here he is now.

Anthony: Sonny. This is a happy occasion. Claudia, greet your husband-to-be.

Claudia: Hello, husband-to-be. Are you ready to get married?

image

Jax: I feel like I'm taking advantage of you.

Kate: No, no, no, no. You're helping me. I'd like to think that I'm helping, too.

image

Lulu: Oh, my gosh. I was getting so worried.

Johnny: I was up at the bluff when I called you.

Lulu: Okay, since you got here that fast, that means you were driving a little too fast on the small, winding road.

Johnny: I needed a rush, but it's nothing compared to seeing you.

Lulu: What is going on?

Johnny: I did it. I walked out on my family.

Lulu: You -- well -- what about your sister? I mean, you live with her to protect her, right?

Johnny: Well, I don't think that's going to be an issue. I would imagine that tonight she'll be moving into casa de Corinthos after they get married.

Lulu: What?

Johnny: Yeah, my father thinks that I'll come back. He -- he is basically dangling the power in front of me, thinks I'll want it, but I want nothing to do with it. I want to get as far away from them as I can, and I want you to come with me. Will you?

image

Trevor: Sonny, Kate's finally going to get to see you for the violent, selfish piece of humanity that you've always been.

Anthony: Can we get on with this? I need a bride and a groom right over here.

Anthony: Padre, I need a nice, simple, legal ceremony. You noticed how I stressed the word legal? Don't skip a word. Do not leave a loophole.

Claudia: What a sweet way to give me away, Daddy.

Walter: Is there music?

[Sonny laughs]

Anthony: Yeah, the angels in heaven are singing. Could we do this?

Walter: Dearly Beloved, we are gathered here to join this man and this woman in holy matrimony. It is ordained for the mutual society, help, and comfort that one ought to have the other, both in prosperity and adversity. Therefore, if any man can show just cause why they might not be lawfully joined together, speak now or forever hold your peace.

Walter: Do you, Claudia, take Michael for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, to honor and cherish, till death do you part?

Claudia: I do.

Walter: Do you, Michael, take Claudia for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, to honor and cherish, till death do you part?

[Kate laughs]

Singer: It just made me crazy waiting for so long 'cause I still close my eyes every time I hear our sound I still dream of you and to just let go

image

Elizabeth: Jake! Jake! Jake!

image

Jason: What? What -- what -- what happened?

Sam: The Russians took Jake.
