Monday - Part 1
Carly: Let go.
Logan: You don't tell me what to do. If Lulu and I want to be together, that's our business, and you'll stay the hell out of it.
Carly: I'm going to tell you one more time -- you let go of me, or you're not going to live long enough to say goodbye to Lulu.
Lulu: You live in the middle of nowhere, Johnny. Every time you step foot outside your father's house, there are two of his men right behind you.
Johnny: You can't be too careful.
Lulu: There is a difference between caution and keeping you on a leash. No wonder you take off so much. If I lived here, I would make a run for it, too.
Johnny: I'm sure you would.
Lulu: Look, I get that your father's business is very dangerous, but that doesn't give him a right to keep you as a prisoner. You need to start living life on your own terms.
Johnny: Here.
Lulu: What is that for?
Johnny: You can go now.
Ric: Well, I'm going to hazard a guess and say that my father didn't just stop in here for coffee. You dragged him in off the street, maybe at gunpoint? That would constitute a crime. If you want to press charges, I'd be more than happy to prosecute them.
Anthony: I have a wonderful garden filled with roses, such beautiful flowers. And, you know, if you give them the proper care and attention, they can bloom past the first frost. Do you keep roses, Mr. Corinthos?
Sonny: I'm -- I'm here to discuss the situation in Port Charles.
Anthony: Screw Port Charles! There's a frost coming! Everything will be dying off soon!
Patrick: You and Lucky may be getting a divorce, but you still share two kids together. You can't honestly think this is a good idea for Lucky to help Robin have a child?
Elizabeth: If Robin wants to have a baby and Lucky's willing to help her, then that's his decision. It has nothing to do with me.
Patrick: Well, maybe not, but it has everything to do with your two kids. If Lucky agrees to help Robin, that baby is going to be Cam and Jake's little brother or sister. They're not going to grow up together -- if Robin has her way, they probably won't even know each other. She's bound and determined to do this on her own.
Elizabeth: Well, being a single mother is hard, not impossible. People do it every day.
Patrick: I understand that, but it doesn't mean Robin should.
Elizabeth: If you have a problem with this, maybe you need to take it up with her.
Lucky: Yeah, I know this may be none of my business, but why aren't you asking Patrick to be the father of your baby?
Robin: Uh -- Patrick and I broke up.
Lucky: I'm sorry. I --
Robin: Don't be. Really, it's -- it's just -- it better this way. See, Patrick didn't want children, and because being a mother isn't something that I'm willing to give up, I had to give up Patrick instead.
Lucky: That couldn't be easy.
Robin: It took me a really long time to let my guard down with Patrick. But when I finally did, I fell completely in love with him. The truth is I'm still in love with him, but Patrick isn't an option anymore. I've decided that I can do this on my own -- well, not completely on my own, obviously, so that's why I'm asking you for your help.
Lucky: Why me?
Robin: We've known each other almost our whole lives. You've always been a good friend. And judging from Jake, you make beautiful babies. I would just like you to at least think about it.
Logan: You want to make threats? You go right ahead.
Carly: You got exactly two seconds to let me go, or I call Jason, I tell him at you've done, and he blows your head off.
Logan: What are you doing?
Carly: I'm calling Jason.
Logan: Look, Carly, listen, I was out of line. I should not have grabbed you like that, ok?
Carly: No, you shouldn't have.
Logan: Look, I'm just worried about Lulu, all right? She's not answering her phone, no one's seen her since last night -- it's like she just disappeared.
Carly: Or she's wised up!
Logan: Look, I get that you don't like me, ok? Listen to me. I care a lot about her.
Carly: Yeah, you proved that by jumping into bed with Maxie.
Logan: I was an idiot.
Carly: You're a liar, and you're a cheater, and after what you just pulled, I'm more convinced than ever that you don't belong anywhere near Lulu.
Trevor: Oh, boy, it'd be very tempting to send you to prison. But in the end, I don't think it's worth the time to press charges. Because, you see, any competent lawyer could get the case thrown out of court for lack of evidence.
Ric: Well, charging Jason with assault would get him off the street.
Trevor: Yeah, an hour or so -- unless you trump up murder charges while Mr. Morgan is down at the precinct.
Ric: The last time Jason was charged with murder, it wasn't fabricated. He walked into Lorenzo Alcazar's home, shot him in cold blood, and then he dumped his body in the harbor.
Trevor: Well, you couldn't make that stick in open court. So unless you want to be next, I would suggest that you stop antagonizing Mr. Morgan. Because it seems to me he could put a bullet in both of us. But then again, you know, there would be a terrible bloody mess on the boss' floor, and you wouldn't have the time to clean it up with such short notice. So, come on, Ric, let's go.
Ric: No, I'm going to stick around for a while. I have a few more questions for Mr. Morgan.
Sonny: I'm -- I'm just here to talk. Your people have been moving into my territory. Is that -- is that happening without your knowledge?
Anthony: I know all about it, Mr. Corinthos -- Port Charles is mine.
Sonny: That's going to be a problem.
Anthony: There's a simple solution.
Sonny: Whoa, whoa, whoa.
Anthony: Your turn.
Sonny: I'm not doing this. I'm not doing this game right now.
Anthony: I'm offering you a possible future, take it.
Sonny: I don't want a future. Ok, ok, give me -- I'll take the gun.
Sonny: I don't play games.
Anthony: "I don't play games. I don't play games!" You'll play with me!
Kate: Jax, I'm sorry I'm late. This is not at all how I'm accustomed to doing business.
Jax: No, it's fine. I was running late myself.
Kate: I'm not sure I believe you, you're always so gallant.
Jax: Yes -- with all the good it does me.
Kate: Are you ok?
Jax: I'm sorry, I should've called. You know, I -- I should've canceled because I'm in no condition to give you feedback on your proposal.
Kate: Well, that's all right. We can reschedule -- assuming you're still interested in the project?
Jax: Oh, of course I'm still interested. Why wouldn't I be? I mean, you've been a leader in the fashion industry for years. Any magazine that you create will be a success.
Kate: Well, that's very flattering.
Jax: I never flatter about business. But I want to give this project my full attention, which is why I would like to reschedule.
Kate: Ok. I'll just call your office and set up another time.
Jax: Great.
Kate: Ok.
Jax: Thank you.
Kate: Jax, um, I don't mean to -- are you -- are you meeting someone else?
Jax: No, no. Why -- why do you ask?
Kate: Look, if I just promise not to talk about magazines, and we can talk about art or travel or -- or why anyone would think surfing is a good idea for a hobby, if I -- could I just, um, stay here with you?
Logan: Look, when I made that deal with maxie, I had no idea how wonderful or amazing Lulu was or how much I actually cared about her. She really is the best thing that's ever happened to me, and I wanted to come clean with Lulu about the bet. But I knew if I did, she'd never speak with me again, and I couldn't risk losing her.
Carly: So you're not only a jerk, you're a coward. A real man would own up to his mistakes and face the consequences.
Logan: Look, Carly, I know I've handled things badly, but Lulu's willing to give me another chance, all right? I'm not going to screw that up. I swear on my life I'm never going to hurt that girl again.
Carly: You're damn right you're not going to because I'm not going to let you get anywhere near Lulu.
Logan: You haven't heard a single word I've said, have you?
Carly: I hear a lot of excuses, ok, so get the hell out of my house before I have you removed one piece at a time.
Lulu: I wouldn't want to bore you, so don't worry, you'll never have to see me again.
Johnny: Don't forget your cash.
Lulu: I don't want your money -- correction -- your big, scary dad's money. Just because he's an overprotective freak doesn't excuse the way you treat people.
Johnny: You hitched a ride with me, Lulu, and now you're trying to make it out to be more than it was.
Lulu: For the record, you're the one who pursued me.
Johnny: I didn't make you get in the car.
Lulu: Oh -- you know what? Everyone warned me that you're crazy, and it turns out they're right. Let's go, Milo.
Milo: With pleasure.
Ric: So I hear Johnny Zacchara's paid several visits to Port Charles recently -- and he's reputed for being unstable and very violent. What are the chances that he's responsible for Leticia's murder?
Jason: I got nothing to say without my attorney.
Ric: I see. Still refusing to cooperate with law enforcement, even though we're trying to solve the murder of an innocent woman whose only crime was agreeing to work for Sonny. You know, Leticia raised Michael and Morgan from the time they were born. She loved and cared for those children as if they were her own, and what'd she get for it, hmm? A phone cord wrapped around her neck. If Johnny Zacchara is responsible for Leticia's murder, Jason, then he needs to be put in prison before he can do it to somebody else. And if you have any information, I would appreciate it if you would tell me.
Jason: Why don't you call Diane -- you got her number?
Ric: Ok, you know what? You don't speak for yourself, ok, you certainly don't think for yourself, and god knows you don't make a move unless Sonny tells you to -- I mean, look what happened tonight. You wanted to kill both me and my father, but you couldn't take action unless Sonny gave you the approval.
Jason: Like I said, I got nothing to say to you.
Ric: As a mob enforcer, you have a reputation for being a well-trained, highly feared killing machine. But the only problem is that you can't pull the trigger unless Sonny orders you to. That makes you nothing more than a trained guard dog.
[Door opens and closes]
Anthony: This is your one last chance, Mr. Corinthos. Play the game, or pay with the lives of everyone you love.
Sonny: I didn't come here to disturb you, I came --
Anthony: You don't think I know what you've done? You stole my son! He's all I have left in the world, and you tried to take him away from me! I'm going to take your sons away. I'm going to slit their throats from ear to ear, and I'm going to make you watch while they bleed.
Anthony: I have to talk to the gardener. The roses need to be pruned before the weather turns.
Sonny: Max -- Max, come on.
Patrick: Ok, I'm trying to get Robin to understand that having a baby is a huge, life-changing decision. You don't just wake up one day and decide to get pregnant.
Elizabeth: Robin is not an impulsive person. You know she wouldn't make a decision like this without thinking it through.
Patrick: See, that's the problem, Elizabeth -- I don't believe she's thinking. She's reacting -- or, in this case, overreacting -- to our breakup.
Elizabeth: Sometimes it takes a breakup to put things into perspective. You're forced to take stock of your life and then you begin to realize what's really important. And maybe Robin took a long, hard look and decided that being a mother is what really matters to her.
Patrick: If Robin wants to be a mother, that's fine -- adopt a child that really needs a home. Don't chase every guy around town looking for sperm to have a baby.
Elizabeth: How she chooses to become a mother is up to her.
Patrick: Elizabeth, you can't really think this is a good idea, that she's asking Lucky for help? Elizabeth: I don't get a say in what Lucky does. My marriage is over, and I'm focusing on the future. And if that's what Robin is doing, then who are we to tell her she's wrong?
Lucky: I am honored that you would even think to ask me to be your child's father.
Robin: You don't want to do it.
Lucky: It --
Robin: It's ok. I understand.
Lucky: Elizabeth and I, we're going through a messy divorce and the kids are in the middle of it. I'm not even allowed to see Cameron and Jake at all.
Robin: Oh, my god, Lucky, I'm so sorry, I had no idea.
Lucky: It's ok. It's only been a few hours and it's driving me crazy. That's -- that's how I know I just couldn't help father a child and not be a part of it. And since that's what it sounds like you want me to do, I don't think I'll be able to help.
Jax: I'm sorry, I might be misinterpreting this but, um, are you asking if -- I -- I thought that you were involved with -- with Sonny.
Kate: Yes, I'm -- well --
Jax: Like I said -- ok, ok, I'm sorry --
Kate: No, no, no. Ok, that's the problem -- Sonny has a --
Jax: Oh.
Kate: "Situation" --
Jax: Right.
Kate: And I can't go into the details -- Jax, I know. It's absurd that I'm -- I'm making myself complicit in god knows what by keeping Sonny's secrets. It --
Jax: Ok, please don't take this the wrong way, but Sonny does that with all his women.
Kate: I'm not one of Sonny's "women."
Jax: Of course. Yeah.
Kate: Yeah, I'm Kate Howard, I actually have a life and a career -- which I fully intend to revive, which is why I'm soliciting you -- which is why I -- I really shouldn't be telling you any of this.
Jax: Oh, no, no, please, please. You can tell me anything you want, because I really would appreciate the distraction.
Kate: Ok, then -- so we're in the same boat, because I could use the distraction, too, to keep my mind off of Sonny's "event." And, anyway, um, why don't you tell me about surfing.
Jax: Surfing?
Kate: Yeah.
Jax: Well, ok, that's one of my favorite things to do. First, you have to be a good swimmer, which I don't -- actually, I recall you're not that good at it, are you?
Kate: Uh -- it's one of those things I never got around to learning.
Jax: Yeah. Carly -- she's a good swimmer. She grew up in Florida and spent the summers on the beaches. Um -- she never surfed, but we went surfing on our honeymoon for the first time -- really fun.
Kate: Did something -- did something happen with you and Carly? Look, you just told me I could tell you anything, and I assure you it goes both ways.
[Jax sighs]
Jax: I want to have a baby, and I just found out tonight that it might never happen.
Lulu: Carly?
Carly: Hold on. Yeah, she just walked in. Ok, bye. Logan had me worried sick about you.
Lulu: When did you see Logan?
Carly: A few minutes ago. He was worried because you didn't answer your phone all night.
Lulu: Well, there wasn't much cell reception at the cabin.
Carly: "The cabin"?
Lulu: It's a long story.
[Lulu sighs]
Lulu: I hitched a ride with Johnny, we ended up in the mountains.
Carly: Johnny Zacchara is dangerous. Why would you get in the car with him again?
Lulu: Save the lecture -- I know, it was stupid.
Carly: Did he hurt you?
Lulu: No -- his father's men could've been a little gentler when dragging me back to the creepy house.
Carly: Anthony Zacchara's men grabbed you?
Lulu: It was just so that Johnny would come home. Once he did, they let me go.
Carly: Did you see his father there?
Lulu: I didn't have time to see much of anything -- Johnny was too busy kicking me off the property. But from what I could see, there was a lot of weird stuff going on over there.
Anthony: Get out!
Trevor: Anthony? What is the problem?
Anthony: He's gone.
Trevor: Who?
Anthony: Johnny -- they took him again. I want my son. What the hell have you done with my son? Where is he?
Johnny: I'm right here.
Anthony: You're back.
Johnny: Do you want something?
Anthony: You have to be more careful, Johnny. You're all I have left of her. She loved roses -- white, pink -- but red -- red were here favorites -- deep red like blood.
Trevor: John, you need to sit with him for a while, it calms him down.
Johnny: You're thinking if he gets upset again, it might ruin your plans.
Trevor: No, no, no, no. If your father gets upset, people tend to die.
Jason: Ok, I picked up Trevor just like you asked. I had him waiting here, Ric shows up, of course --
Sonny: We got -- we got a bigger problem than Ric. Zacchara is -- is crazy. I'm -- I'm talking out of his mind, and I'm not just talking irrational. He -- he is insane. One minute he's talking about roses, the next minute he's talking about coming after my family.
Jason: Are you sure it wasn't an act?
Sonny: No, no, no, no, it's real. Trevor has not wanted me to -- to see him because he doesn't want the truth to come out. Ok, I just thought that Trevor was a mouthpiece, but he -- he's -- he's been running Zacchara's organization in his name. The real enemy here is Trevor Lansing
