Claudia: What's the matter? Are you afraid you'll get shown up by a woman?
Jason: The less I deal with you, the better.
Claudia: Ok, jackal? It's just you and me.
Jason: Spinelli, don'T.
Claudia: Come on, we're under quarantine. I'm going stir crazy. What tragedy is going to befall us if we play a little pool?
Spinelli: While the jackal is always grateful for stone cold's wise counsel, vixenella's instruction in the art of billiards is not only beneficial -- it's enjoyable.
Claudia: That's it, isn't it? You don't want me and spinelli to have any fun. You want us to sit here and be miserable like you. Let me ask you a question. Have you ever enjoyed anything, or were you always like this?
Lulu: Oh, my gosh. I can't believe how fast you were going.
Johnny: Well, it is a speed boat, lulu.
Lulu: You are the only person who drives crazier than I do.
Johnny: You were pretty crazy.
Lulu: My heart is still pounding.
Johnny: That's a good thing.
Lulu: You know what I mean.
Johnny: Yeah, I do.
Lulu: You're smiling. Does that mean you're not mad at me anymore?
Johnny: Well, I am a hostage. I'd hate to argue with my captor.
Lulu: Actually, since I am in charge -
johnny: Ok, what will you have me do now?
Lulu: And just let me get this out.
Kate: Yoji, we're trying to go for youthful vitality. Right now, dakota looks like she had a full frontal lobotomy. What are we going to do?
Photographer: Um -
kate: Some time before she's eligible for social security, please.
Maxie: What if we lose the jacket?
Kate: Yes, yes, and take the shoes off and sling them over your shoulder.
Maxie: You're so calm. How do you do it?
Kate: Oh, maxie. This is nothing. I remember when I was an assistant on my first big shoot. The supermodel, who shall remain nameless, showed up after partying for three days straight. She was a total train wreck.
Maxie: What did you do?
Kate: I dumped her head in a bucket of water. I poured a gallon of coffee down her throat, and I found the biggest speakers I could and blasted the ramones at full volume.
Maxie: The ramones?
Kate: The photographer ended up winning awards for those shoots. Yoji, I want to see some of the prints.
Photographer: Ok.
Ric: Hotel not getting too many reservations, I guess, huh?
Carly: What's up, ric?
Ric: Look, I've been purposely and consciously avoiding you up until now because I know everything that you've been dealing with. And I don't want to make things worse, especially when michael is in the hospital.
Carly: That's tactful of you.
Ric: I'm very sorry about what happened to your son, carly. I mean, I can't imagine what -- what you must be dealing with. If there's anything that I can ever do to help you, please ask.
[Knocking on door]
Alexis: Hi, hi.
Jax: Wow. Alexis: It's the man that i truly love. Jax: Wow. Well, special occasion? Alexis: Oh, no, not exactly. Jax: Right, of course. I'll just assume that they're from a secret admirer then. Alexis: Yeah. I can't lie to you. This is really awkward. I know that you know that I know that you know I slept with your brother.
Robin: Don't let him see you.
Patrick: Robin, look what happened to dealing with him like I told
Mac: Robin
Robin: Hide. Go.
Well I can't get up off the couch so you can just come in.
Mac: Hi.
Robin: Hi
Mac: Look this is exactly why I hired epiphany. There's no way you're going to be able to follow dr's orders and stay off your feet unless you have someone here to help you.
Robin: I would like to have someone here helping me but I would like that someone to be Patrick.
Mac: Can we aim a little higher - like a functioning grownup? Robin: He's a doctor. Mac: He's a frat boy with a medical degree. Robin: ok I thought you liked Patrick. Mac: Not since he reacted with shear terror when he found out you were pregnant. Robin: He just needed time to get used to the idea. Mac: Oh come on. He walks around the hospital like he's God's gift. The guy is not responsible enough to take care of you, much less the baby in the future. You're kidding yourself if you think you can count on patrick drake.
Patrick: You know what, mac, with all due respect, you're full of crap.
Lulu: I was an idiot last night. I played right into maxie's hands.
Johnny: Forget about maxie.
Lulu: It's kind of hard, because she's made it no secret that she's after you.
Johnny: I'm not interested.
Lulu: But you said that you were going to go out with her.
Johnny: Yes, because I was pissed about that whole bet that you made.
Lulu: Ok, well, if you're not pissed anymore, does that mean that you'll call it off?
Johnny: No, I'd rather you trust me, I'd rather show maxie that her plan didn't work.
Lulu: Uh, I hate insecure girls that are possessive and I hate that maxie brings it out in me. I want to trust you. I do trust you, it just feels weird -- scary weird.
Johnny: Ok, you have no problem opening up a speedboat to full throttle, but maxie's lame come-on scares you? Come on.
Lulu: It's crazy.
Johnny: It is.
Lulu: I should feel sorry for you. You know, while maxie's making lame attempts to seduce you, you can think about this.
Carly: You're working for anthony zacchara now, aren't you? That's why you're here, you're going to go up and visit him in his suite.
Ric: Mr. Zacchara had nothing to do with michael's shooting.
Carly:Um, he's jason's enemy, and he was sonny's enemy before sonny retired. You know, I believe that you were sincere when you gave your condolences for michael. Just like I believed you were sincere when you saved my life after the cannery exploded and I thanked you for that. So of course I'm grateful. But when you ask me if there's anything you can do for me, the answer is no.
Jax: Well, I'm certainly not here to judge you, I'm just -- I was concerned about you after what happened at the haunted star last night.
Alexis: I'm very sorry about the timing of that meltdown, it was inappropriate and unclassy and i had no idea that the woman you were standing next to was the new editor-in-chief of "couture magazine."
Jax: Oh, giselle? No, it's fine.
Alexis: You were right to disavow yourself from the lunatic.
Jax: Oh, no, I said with great pride that you were my ex-wife.
Alexis: Oh, jax, she's direct competition to your magazine. Why did you do that?
Jax: I don't care about giselle, I was more worried about you. But before I could do anything, my brother came in and you didn't seem to object, so i didn't want to interfere. But by the looks of things, perhaps I should have.
Alexis: Actually, you did me a huge favor.
Claudia: I've done research on you. I love research. The internet's opened up a whole new world.
Spinelli: Oh, the jackal's world, you know, where he is master, dominating the multitudes.
Claudia: I've actually picked up a few hacking tricks myself.
Spinelli: I had no idea you were one of my people.
Claudia: That is because you judged me from the outside. You thought that I was a mindless bimbo.
Spinelli: No, no, no, no -- just because most cyber-literates are socially inept with low self-esteem and bad hair. But you have great hair, so -
claudia: I think you're really cute.
Spinelli: Really? Well, I mean, you know, even on first acquaintance it was very clear to me that you were a real flesh and blood version of the most toughened, agile, cyber-babe.
Jason: Spinelli, please.
Claudia: What? Come on, what is your problem? He's trying to get to know me here, instead of slapping a label on me the way you did. You have to take the time to know the fac about a person, the way I did with you. That's why I know a lot more about you than you know about me.
Sam: To staying in the moment.
Lucky: Is that how you want it?
Sam: You've got enough commitments in your life. I don't think you need another one.
Lucky: I think that would be my call.
Sam: Ok, can I say something to you without you getting totally defensive?
Lucky: Ok.
Sam: And I say this with total respect and admiration, but i think you are going to kill yourself trying to get out from underneath your father's shadow.
Lucky: How does this have anything to do witmy father?
Sam: Ok, let mexplain. Luke, he is always with you. He took you -- you and your mother all over the world, and you stayed here in port charles. He breaks the law, you become a cop. He's a hit and miss father, you're the most dedicated father on the planet. You prove to cameron and jake every single day that they are wanted and valued, but I can't stop wondering if maybe you're trying to give them everything that your father didn't give you.
Lucky: My dad was a great father, especially when I was younger. We were very close.
Sam: I know, but, lucky, he bailed on you, emotionally and physically. And I think that you are determined not to do that to those boys.
Lucky: You're probably right about cameron and jake. You're probably even right about me and my dad. But I don't understand what that has to do with you and me having a future.
Sam: Ok, look, any future has to include cameron and jake, they come first in your life.
Lucky: Mm-hmm.
Sam: And so does their mother.
Mac: You see, I knew you were hiding here somewhere, which only proves my point. Instead of acting like a responsible father-to-be, you're skulking around like a teenager.
Robin: Wait a minute, the skulking was my idea, to avoid a testosterone-filled moment just like this one. I mean, I'm not supposed to be stressed out, remember?
Mac: Right, yes, and that's why you're coming home with me, to get away from the stress.
Patrick: Ok, you know what, mac? I get that you're worried about robin, I get that in your mind nobody's ever gointo be good enough for her. I get that because I may have a daughter, and I can see myself acting almost as crazy as you.
Mac: Right, then you'll listen to me when -
patrick: No, mac, you listen to me, ok? I love robin, I support her any way that I can. And I'm the father of that baby. I'm not going to let you run me out of their lives.
Johnny: It's a lot better than the last time I was kidnapped.
Lulu: Ugh, I don't want to think about that.
Johnny: You know, you're all i thought about that whole time, it's what got me through.
Lulu: Mm.
Johnny: I may have even written a song for you. It's whatever came into my head when I thought of you.
Lulu: Oh, so what are you thinking about right now?
Johnny: The voices.
Lulu: The voices?
Johnny: Yeah.
Lulu: Ok, what -- what are the voices saying?

Alexis: Jerry and I have been doing this dance for months.
Jax: You mean, he's been pursuing you relentlessly.
Alexis: I protested. There's a fine line between enjoying the game and running from it. And in all fairness, was enjoying the game.
Jax: Right, while ignoring the, uh, difficult truths.
Alexis: I didn't ignore them, believe me. But I have come to see why you might have stayed loyal to your brother.
Jax: How?
Alexis: I was unglued and terrified last night, and he held it together. He told me that I could trust him about something, and I do.
Jerry: Is it safe to return?
Claudia: You weren't born jason morgan, you were born jason quartermaine. You're actually from a filthy rich family. You had a bad car accident, and now you have brain damage.
Jason: I know what happened. I don't need to hear you rehash it.
Claudia: A little touchy about the whole brain damage thing.
Jason: Yeah, you know what, maybe I am. Maybe I realize how lucky I am to be walking around when michael's going to be laying in a coma for the rest of his life because some piece of garbage tried to kill his father!
Claudia: I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
Jason: For -- for what?
Claudia: I didn't make the connection.
Jason: Sounded more like guilt to me.
Claudia: My family didn't have anything to do with michael's shooting. How many times do I have to tell you that?
Jason: You know what? If you get delirious, you get this fever, you start spilling your guts, I might just try asking you again.
Sam: Look, I went to go see elizabeth the other day.
Sam: Just relax, though, because we didn't fight, we didn't argue, it was actually the best conversation -
lucky: Then why am I just now hearing about this?
Sam: Because I had to go on impulse. You had to cancel with me again to go be with cameron and jake. And I can't help but think that there's got to be something that I can do to help, but I'm so segregated from that part of your life. The boys are not allowed around me, I'm not allowed around them.
Lucky: Listen, if I made you feel like that, I'm really sorry.
Sam: No, no, look, we both know why elizabeth did not want me around, and she was totally justified. With that said, I again went to apologize to her. And guess what? She accepted my apology, and she actually told me that she thought that I was good for you.
Lucky: She's right.
Sam: However, she's really worried that cam might get confused if I'm a part of the mix, you know? He knows that mom and dad love him, so, logically, where do i fit in?
Lucky: Is that what you are wondering, because elizabeth and I are the parents?
Sam: No, no, no, no, lucky, don't, you don't have to deny or explain anything. I know that relationships with exes get really complicated, so I sort of had to think things through myself. You know, do I want to be a part of the boys lives? Do I want to be daddy's girlfriend?
Lucky: Are you? Sam: I was going to talk it over with you and then we went on the road trip and I didn't have to. Gosh, lucky, I am emotionally a coward and it -- and it just goes back to the same thing, you know? I feel like when I start to invest, clearly they are going to disappear, so I sort of do things backwards. And I kind of feel like I kept distance between us just to sort of hold on to you.
Lucky: You know, I think you're making this way too complicated. You know, I know we're both scared because we've both been hurt. But at some point we're going to have to start trusting each other or give up. So I'm kind of voting for trusting each other.
Sam: I -- I guess I'll try.
Patrick: I'm struggling with the idea of being a father right now, mac. I've been honest about that from the beginning. Maybe too honest. But the one constant through all of this is my love for robin. I love her more every day. And as far as taking care of her, my heart dropped when I saw her on the floor, and I will never let that happen again. I am committed to her having a healthy pregnancy and giving her all the support she needs. So you know what, mac, robin's not going home with you. I'm staying here and I'm going to take care of her. You're more than welcome to come and visit if you want, but just -
mac: Uh, are you through?
Patrick: Yeah, I think I am.
Mac: Good, then, uh, you're under arrest.
Robin: Hey!
Patrick: What are you talking about?
Mac: Turn around.
Patrick: Mac.
[Handcuff key jingling]
Jax: Alexis was just telling me what a great comfort you've been to her.
Jerry: Yes, I was glad I was there when she needed me. I mean, it was an awkward situation last night. Fortunately, things are much calmer now.
Jax: You helped with that, obviously. She was also telling me that, uh, she's clear about all your flaws, but she still feels that she can trust you.
Jerry: Yes, she can. You have a problem with that?
Jax: [Laughs] Do I have a problem with that?
Tracy: Carly.
Photographer: Can you not see we're working here?
Kate: No, actually, it might be interesting -- a random woman walking through the middle of a shot. We'll have to wait until we see the proofs. Maxie, why don't you give mrs. Spenr a release?
Tracy: Lulu is getting way too close with john zacchara. I need you to talk to her. She doesn't listen to me.
Carly: What happened?
Tracy: Well, she's down at the quartermaine family boathouse with him even as we speak.
Johnny: Got you!
Lulu: Don't throw me back in.
Johnny: Ok, then I'll have to find something else to dwith you.
Lulu: Oh, really? Oh, I'm hearing some voices right now in my head.
Johnny: What do they say?
Lulu: K-I-s-S.
Johnny: Kiss.
Claudia: I read in the paper that you killed the guy who shot michael. That must have given you some small sense of satisfaction, at least.
Spinelli: Ian devlin was a fiend indeed who was, actually, attacking maximista when stone cold took the opportunity
jason: I can't, I can't listen to this.
Spinelli: My humblest apologies, stone cold, if my words upset you.
Claudia: You know what? It's not spinelli's fault. Jason, hey, wake up.
Spinelli: Stone cold?
Claudia: Oh, my god, he's burning up.

Mac: You can talk to your lawyer when we get down to the station.
Patrick: Come on, Mac. You can't be serious.
Mac: Do you want me to add resisting arrest to the charges?
Robin: What charges? Patrick didn't do anything.
Mac: I'll figure that out when I get to the station.
Robin: I'm supposed to be avoiding stress, remember? Arresting the father of my child for no apparent reason isn't helping me to achieve Zen.
Mac: Trust me, you and the baby will both be better off. Let's go. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed for you.
Tracy: Go away. When Luke is out of town, it falls on me to supervise his daughter. I have tried reasoning with her. As I have said, she doesn't listen to me. Maybe you can have more of an impact. You have got to convince her to stay away from John Zacchara.
Carly: If I tell her to stay away from Johnny Zacchara, she's only going to want him more. You know that.
Tracy: Carly, Lulu hasn't had much luck in the family boathouse as you may well remember. I cannot do nothing while she gets herself pregnant again. Luke will kill me.
[Cell phone rings]
Maxie: I'm really busy. I have to call you back.
Robin: You have to help me. Uncle Mac has gone completely off the rails.
Claudia: Help me. Let's get him to the couch.
Jason: No. No. I don't -- I don't -- stop. I don't need any help.
Spinelli: With all due respect, Stone Cold, this is not your finest hour. The Jackal fears you have been felled by dreaded Asian ague. So please resist the urge to man up and accept Vixenella's offer of assistance.
Jason: No, I'm fine.
Claudia: Come on, come on, Jason. Look, you can't even stand. You want to sit here on the floor, or do you want to let us help you get to the couch? It's your choice.
Sonny: This has got to be done right. No screw-ups.
Milo: There won't be.
Sonny: Make sure of it.
Milo: Ok.
Max: Uh, boss.
Sonny: Yeah.
Max: This is all kind of sudden, you know, maybe you should take some time to think this over -

Spinelli: The master must lie down and conserve what's left of his severely sapped strength to fight off the invisible assailant that has worked its way into the very core of your being.
Jason: Ok, I know that you are trying to help me, but I said I'm fine.
Claudia: Ok, get on the phone and call the health department. Find out we're supposed to do. The number is on the back of the quarantine notice. Jason, you are burning up. You're dripping with sweat.
Spinelli: Uh, The Jackal has misplaced the pertinent paperwork that was provided prior to be sealed in the casa de Stone Cold. Oh, gosh, now his master, he's fighting for his life, and The Jackal is trying to correct an error that have been easily avoided by just heeding the white knight's advice and sipping my libation of choice instead of swilling my libation of choice -
Claudia: Ok, ok. Hey, hey, hey. Go -- hey, calm down. Calm down, calm down, ok? Take a deep breath. We're going to retrace your steps, ok? The guy in the hazmat suit, he came in. He gave the notice to Jason, and then you took it from him and then you -
Spinelli: I retreated to the confines of my regrettably pink room to research the debilitating -- oh, yes, and I left it on the bed.
Claudia: Ok, good, go.
Claudia: Hey, the kid blames himself. You could try cooperating, making it easier on him, you know.
Spinelli: Um, yes, Stone Cold has been struck down the highly contagious super bug and requires immediate assistance before succumbing to the said illness.
Claudia: Nobody's going to die. Hi, sorry about that. What do you need to know? Uh, it's Harbor -- Harbor View Penthouse Three, Harbor View Towers. We were quarantined last night, and now one of us is sick.
Tracy: The Zaccharas did not think twice about hanging Luke out to dry. What's to say they won't turn on Lulu just as easily?
Carly: Oh, come on, you can't be so naive to think that Luke was actually innocent?
Tracy: No, of course not. But Luke covers his tracks. Any evidence the police have against him, John Zacchara planted, perhaps to give him an unobstructed path to Lulu.
Carly: Ok, you better keep that theory to yourself because it is going to make sound desperate.
Tracy: I am desperate. I care what happens to Lulu.
Carly: Yeah, well, so do I.
Tracy: Well, then, you better do everything in your power to keep her from making the same mistakes you made.
Carly: I have talked to Lulu. I have warned her about the danger and the innocent people that wind up paying the price. It's her choice. Lulu has to walk away on her own. I can't do it for her.
Lulu: Oh, where are you going?
Johnny: I figured we could use some privacy. What's wrong?
Lulu: Um, I think this was maybe -- this was a bad idea. I don't know if I should have brought you here.
Johnny: No, it's fine. It's been fun. I've had a nice time, hearing you laugh, watch you smile. What's going on?
Lulu: Well, it's nothing you did, I just -- when I moved into the Quartermaines, I was in love with Tracy's son -- Dillon. And he was in love with Georgie, but I wanted him for myself, so I convinced him that Georgie was sleeping with somebody else. And I was there to pick up the pieces. This is where it happened. I lost my virginity to him. And, actually, I got pregnant.
Jax: You're a selfish son of a bitch. I can't believe you would take advantage of Alexis like that.
Jerry: I can assure you she was more than willing.
Jax: Oh, that's it. I'm going to kill you.

[Alexis screams]
Jerry: What Alexis and I do is none of your bloody business. Right, darling?
Jax: Alexis deserves better than you. I'm not going to let you hurt her.

Alexis: Thanks for stopping by.

Kate: Yes, the shoot finally wrapped. I'm going to go to my office and look at some proofs, and then I'm all yours.
Max: Hmm. Ooh. Oh, wow.
Diane: Hi.
[Max chuckles]
Diane: What have you got there?
Max: Oh, Ms. Miller, I didn't even here you come in.
Diane: Clearly, you were too focused on whatever it is you're desperately clutching behind your back.
Max: Huh.
Diane: It's to late to hide it, Max. You might as well just show me.
Max: I can't, it's a surprise.
Diane: A surprise? Have I ever told you how much I adore surprises? Especially when they are given to my by big, handsome, flexible men.
[Diane laughs]
Diane: Do I at least get a hint?
Max: Well, it wouldn't do you any good.

Max: Trust me on this. You're never going to guess.
Diane: Well, now my interest is effectively piqued. Oh, come on, Max, how much longer are you going to make me wait? You're going to show it to me sooner or later, why not make it now? Oops.

[Diane gasps]
[Diane stammers] Well, this is -- this is unexpected to say the least. My god, that's big.
Max: Um, five carats.
Diane: Five? Really?
Max: Yeah, nothing but the best, you know.
Diane: You sweet, wonderful man. How could any girl say no?
[Diane giggles]
Max: I'm not, um -
Diane: Not what?
Max: Um, saying this very well. I, uh -
Diane: Oh, you're saying it beautifully. There's nothing more to say. Of course, I will marry you. Look.
Claudia: He is about 6'1", 185 pounds of pure muscle with the bluest eyes I've ever seen in my entire life. They're deep blue, like, I don't know. They're really almost like an indigo blue. Oh, what do you need to know? Physical condition is incredible. Seriously, the guy must spend hours in the gym to get his body to look like that. He's insanely ripped. I haven't seen his abs yet, but if they're anything like his biceps, oh, my god. Any recent injuries or illness?
Jason: No, I said I'm fine. Just hang up the phone. Hang up the phone.
Spinelli: Although Stone Cold does appear to be a prime physical specimen, you know, when not suffering the ill effects of Asian ague -- actually, he nearly severed tendons in both of his hands performing a daring act of heroism and it required three corrective surgeries to regain function.
Claudia: He's had three surgeries on his hands, but they look fine now. Any other recent injures or illnesses?
Spinelli: Well, Stone Cold has cheated death on several occasions after being shot by evildoers seeking to do harm to Mr. Sir and the fair Samantha.
Claudia: Ok, anything near the lungs?
Jason: No, not recently.
Claudia: He was fine a couple of minutes ago, and now he can't stand.
Jason: No, I can -
Claudia: What's his temperature? Can you get a thermometer?
Spinelli: The Jackal procured one when he was upstairs in the regrettably pink room. Just hold still for me.
Jason: What are you -- ow! What are you doing?
Spinelli: No -- it needs to happen, shh.
Jason: Get that thing away.
Sonny: What the hell were you thinking, giving Kate's ring to Diane?
Max: I'm sorry, boss.
Sonny: I'm sorry? A five-carat diamond. Do you know how much it cost me, Max?
Max: Ms. Miller walked in. She saw the ring. She assumed it was for her. What was I supposed to do?
Sonny: Not propose.
Max: I didn't. Ms. Miller said yes without me even asking her.
Sonny: Max, you know what? I don't care how it happened. You want to marry Diane, get your own ring. I want mine back.
Max: That's just it, I don't want to marry Diane.
Sonny: Oh.

Max: No, no, no, boss. I'm just saying that your track record, you know, with marriage isn't the greatest. Um, you know, you and Mrs. C have been married -- what, four times? And you still couldn't get it to work. So, what makes you think it's going to be different with Kate?
Sonny: Well, it's a whole different situation now. Ok? I am out of the business, and you know what? Kate's not going to have to deal with the danger, and the -- you know, violence that Carly did. Right?
Max: Yeah.

Johnny: Look, it's understandable. You got caught up. Ok? Your whole life you've been taught about love and what it can do, how it changes people, makes people happier. Why wouldn't you want it for yourself?

Johnny: I never wanted to fall in love. I mean, I saw what love can do, what it did to my father, and how he loved my mother to the point of obsession, you know? Diane: Maybe if I were in my 20s, and I could build a life with somebody, things might be different. But women who have achieved success and then fall in love, they will twist themselves into pretzels to make a marriage work because, god forbid, we overachievers should ever fail at anything. And then we only become clingy, insecure shadows of the women we once were. Who needs that? Right? Why not have an adult relationship rather than risk the pitfalls of marriage?
Kate: Who's getting married?
Diane: Um, Sonny has convinced himself that my relationship with Max is simply an act of defiance. Which is not only narcissistic -- big surprise -- but is patently untrue. And I was simply saying to Sonny that if Max and I ever do decide to get married, hypothetically speaking, it will have nothing to do with Sonny and everything to do with the mind-bending, earthshaking sex we are having. Speaking of which -- yes? Ok.
Diane: Let's go. Excuse us.

Lulu: No, we are not going anywhere. We were here first and I'm not letting Maxie ruin our afternoon. Besides, it's kind of fun watching her make a fool of herself.
Maxie: Careful, Lulu. With your delicate skin, you could break out in some of those horrible freckles. I always like to use sunscreen, spf-15. Would you mind?
[Maxie unties her bikini top and turns to Johnny]
Claudia: They said on the phone the best thing to bring down your fever was a sponge bath.
Jason: I don't care what they said. I'm not taking my clothes off.
Claudia: Just your shirt. Ok, your motorcycle boots.
Jason: No, no -
Claudia: I'll wash your feet.
Jason: No, I might need them. No.
Claudia: Jason, what -- where? Why? Why would you need them? Where do you think you're going?
Jason: Who knows where I might go -
Claudia: You're not going anywhere. Look, let's get this straight, ok? I'm not doing this for a thrill. You have a great set of guns on you there and I appreciate a man who keeps fit. But I'm not going to swoon and jump your bones.

Claudia: We're locked in here, Jason. I'm trying to follow the doctor's orders. I'm trying to help you. Why are you fighting me?

Claudia: Or you could just drop dead from a fever. That works for me, too.
Spinelli: Oh, a million pardons. The Jackal was unaware the Vixenella was administering -
Jason: I want you to hack into the Health Department's computer and get this quarantine lifted. I need to get out of here as soon as possible.
Claudia: Don't even think about it, Spinelli. None of us is going anywhere.
Alexis: I let myself trust you last night, which was no easy feat, and now you have single-handedly proven what a bimbo I was. All that goodwill that you just built up is disintegrating as we speak.
Jerry: Ok, you're behaving as if we -- we did something we're ashamed of. All we had was sex. And damn fine sex, if I say so myself.
Alexis: And if you want a repeat experience, you will shut up.
Jax: Yeah, we all know why last night happened, Jerry. You took advantage of Alexis and that's it.
Jerry: Oh, come on, we're consenting adults here.
Jax: You know this is not going to have a happy ending. So let me give you some advice. Walk away from my good-for-nothing brother and cut your losses.
Alexis: I know that you love me. I really do, but you're kind of crossing a line.
Jerry: Oh, yeah, I'll say. I resent the hell out of this.
Jax: I don't care what you think.
Alexis: He doesn't.
Mac: Hey -- hey, are you planning on hitting your brother? Because I've got a department to run.
Carly: No, they're done fighting.
Jerry: Ma'am, would you be so kind as to take my brother home immediately? Thank you.
Carly: It's Alexis' life. She's a big girl. She's capable of making her own mistakes.
Jerry: Yes.
Alexis: Thanks, Carly, I think.
Carly: Really, it's not fair to blame what happened on jerry when Alexis is just as responsible.
Jerry: There's no blame involved. All it was was sex -- fabulous, memorable, soon to be repeated sex.
Carly: See?
Alexis: Could you say that a little louder? There's a perp in the corner that didn't quite hear you.
Harper: As long as money didn't exchange hands, I don't think we need to deal with it any further.
Jerry: I mean, you were quite brazen when we were behind closed doors. And now all of a sudden, you're all -- I believe the word is "repressed."
Alexis: I would prefer to think of it as discreet. But since you insist -- everybody!
[Alexis whistles]
Alexis: Can I have your attention, please? Last night, I slept with that man. That's all. Back to business, thank you.
Diane: Alexis, really. I'm saying this to you as a friend. Too much confession is not good for the soul.
Kate: Sonny, I don't know how you've kept your balance. Your life is suddenly unrecognizable. Michael's shooting, signing away your sons, walking away from your work. It must feel like your life is spiraling out of control.
Sonny: Listen, this is not -- I know what being out of control feels like. This is not that. It just -- look, I'm bipolar, right? And I'm taking my medications. I'm grieving for Michael. It hurts. But I -- but I have -- I have clarity now. I know that my life has to change. And bit by bit, I'm changing it.
Kate: And you're doing an amazing job.
Sonny: Yeah, and -- and you are part of the reason because when I look at you, I see possibilities. But then I wonder, am I just kidding myself?
Kate: But anything is possible, sonny.
Sonny: Well, yeah -
Kate: Look at us. Where we're from, two kids like us, everybody thought that we would end up married young, a brood of kids, dead end jobs. But we didn't. For better or worse, we followed our bliss. We hit it big. And we wound up finding each other again.
Sonny: We missed a lot in between. I don't regret anything. It's just that... I know things would have been different. And I'm just -- is it too late for us?
Kate: Are you saying goodbye to me?
Robin: I'm not an idiot. I know you and I know that if I moved in with you with this child, that you would go crazy.
Patrick: You are so afraid to be proven wrong.
Robin: No, I just want my baby to have -
Patrick: Our baby.
Robin: Our baby -- I want our baby to have a great life, not to feel unwanted or -- or rejected or confused.
Patrick: I've spent months trying to prove to you that I want to be with you, that I want to try and be a father to this kid, that I'm ready to accept the changes in my life and try and make a family with you. The only one that doesn't want to be in a relationship is you. Now that you've got the baby, really, what do you need me for?
Claudia: Pay attention, ok? You caught a contagious illness from a 30-second exchange with the pizza delivery guy.
Spinelli: And the Jackal contends that the messenger of doom did actually get the order wrong.
Claudia: If you leave this apartment now, while you're still sick, you could endanger an entire city of people and -
Jason: I want her gone, Spinelli. Make it happen.
Claudia: You know what? I don't care what spinelli hacks into. I'm not going anywhere until I'm told that it is safe to leave this apartment by somebody who knows what they're talking about.
Jason: Then I'll go.
Claudia: Oh, that's great, Jason. You're going to let the fact that you hate my guts, for no apparent reason at all, endanger the lives of an entire city? That's just -- you know what? That's just absolutely crazy and it's infantile and stupid.
Spinelli: Stone cold, vixen only wishes to alleviate your discomfort -- Jason: That's enough.
Claudia: No, it's ok, spinelli. Thank you. Thank you. Jason would rather fight with us than get better. And you know why? Because your Zen master here, he has a really hard time processing the idea that being sick doesn't mean he's weak. And he can't get over the fact that it hurts his pride, that a word nerd like yourself and a woman are perfectly healthy. We seem to be immune while he's laid up sick as a dog. So he's taking it out on us. And it's just infantile.
Diane: I'm happy for you. I really am. And I understand why you might be feeling somewhat off balance. Because I too know the thrill of wild abandon after a long, prolonged period of abstinence. But, and I say this with all due respect, have you lost your mind?
Alexis: Obviously.
Diane: What on earth possessed you to announce your one-night stand to the entire squad room? You do nothing to the credibility of women in the workplace.
Alexis: I didn't want to. He did it. He was going to do it. He forced me, backed me into a corner.
Diane: Ok, enough, enough. I'm not interested in your sexual positions. That's your business. But why divulge it to the rest of us?
Alexis: Because he was going to. I told you that he also accused me of being ashamed of what I did with him.
Diane: Well, are you?
Sonny: I would never want to say goodbye to you.
Kate: Then why all these regrets, Sonny?
Sonny: You know... I look back and I can actually point to the moments where my life has changed. And a lot of, you know -- a lot of the moments were with you. Like, you know, when you left me that night, when I wanted to run away with you and you didn't show up. When you came into my office and demanded to use the phone.
Kate: Right. And all the years in between. You had your kids. I had my spotlight. And yet, after all of that... here we are. We're together. Sonny, there's nothing to regret.
Sonny: No, no, I'm -- I mean, I don't feel sorry for myself. You know, I mean -- you know, regardless of everything that's happened, I have -- I have a great life. I mean, the coffee business is doing great, everything -- it's just that after what happened to Michael, I questioned whether I have the right to be happy with you. Maybe you deserve better, easier.
Kate: Sonny, we both deserve to be happy.
Kate: And you're a very good man. You're the best man for me.
Sonny: I never met anybody quite like you. And not just your strength and your grace, but... the way you know me, you know?

Maxie: Forget it. You know, if Spinelli was here, he would do it. Lulu: Why don't you just go find spinelli? Maxie: I can't. He's in quarantine, duh.
Lulu: What quarantine? Maxie: Oh, you don't know? I guess Spinelli forgot to call you. He was exposed to some contagious disease. He ordered pizza while he was at Jason's house and the delivery guy had some Asian something or other. Then the hazmat guys showed up and said that none of them could leave for, like, 24 hours.
Lulu: None of who? Maxie: Well, Spinelli, Jason, and Claudia. Surprised your sister didn't tell you.
Johnny: She told me she was quarantined, but not where and with who.
Maxie: Spinelli said that there was nothing wrong with her. Well, I mean, she's not sick or anything. Jason's usually grumpy on a good day, so you can imagine what it's like being stuck in that apartment. Maybe you should go see if your sister needs some rescuing.
Johnny: If my sister needs my help, she'll call me.
Lulu: You want to go for a swim? Johnny: Yeah, I do. Lulu: Good.
Maxie: You guys go ahead. I'll hang out here and hold the fort down.
[Water splashes]
[Phone rings]
Maxie: Hello?
Anthony: Who's this? Where's my son?
Maxie: Mr. Zacchara, hi. Johnny's actually taking a swim right now.
Anthony: What is that, some kind of code? Where is he?
Maxie: The Quartermaine boathouse with me and Lulu.
Anthony: I see. Whoever you are, tell Johnny that he can swim at the Quartermaine boathouse with his little blond girlie some other time. Right now he needs to dry off and get his ungrateful ass over to the Metro Court. His father needs him.
Diane: A night of mindless, meaningless sex is exactly what you deserve after everything you've been through. Ah, except it wasn't meaningless.
Alexis: I don't know how to have meaningless sex. I'm working on it, ok? Jerry says that I set myself up to be disappointed with men and that I set myself up so that my worst expectations come true.
Diane: Well, that would explain a lot. Alexis: I'm a realist. Relationships don't work.
Diane: Well, certainly not with the men you choose.
Alexis: Kettle, pot, black.
Diane: Yes, but I'm happy with mindless and meaningless.
Alexis: You're getting married.
Diane: Not anymore. We have sorted all that out, thank God. And now Max and I are free to pursue our relationship unencumbered by the bonds of matrimony, a situation I might suggest for you and your psychopath.
Alexis: My psychopath said that he would protect my daughter and that I could trust him.
Diane: And you believed him?
Alexis: About that one thing, I do. Oh, God, I'm in trouble.
Diane: No, no, no, look. The situation is not completely hopeless. There has got to be an upside to crawling into bed with Jerry.
Alexis: Diane. There has to be an upside.
Diane: Ok, here's the upside. You are brave -- brave enough to risk your heart. Kudos to you, girlfriend. Push.
Jerry: Alexis is a grown woman. She's very much aware of my flaws.
Jax: I doubt that.
Carly: Jerry's right. Jerry and Alexis are adults. They can do whatever they want to.
Jerry: Listen, you don't even appreciate what you have. You have a strong, intelligent woman whom you love, who loves you back. Why don't you want to wish the same thing for me?
Robin: That's not fair. I love you and I respected what you told me, that you don't want to be a dad.
Patrick: For God's sake, robin, people change their mind. People grow up. You learn from your mistakes. Five years ago, there's no way you would have thought you would have been pregnant. But here you are, and hurray for you. But what about a little respect for the rest of us?
Robin: Here's what I think. I think you found me on the floor and it scared you to death.
Patrick: Of course it did.
Robin: Because you love me. And I love you just as much. I am in no way done with you. I just don't want to be the reason that you compromise yourself. I mean, you are a high-powered, high-octane bachelor. Come on, the last thing you want is a live-in girlfriend with a little baby.
Patrick: You are terrified to count on me. You are so scared you are going to be disappointed you set the bar so low that you're not even giving us a chance to be a family.
Spinelli: Despite your best intentions, you are the daughter of Stone Cold's sworn enemy, which is doubtless why he feels compelled to evict you from the premises and deny you access to his burning flesh.
Spinelli: Though my master should maybe consider temporarily surrendering the moniker of Stone Cold for something more fitting to his current persona, like molten lava or hot rock.
[Claudia laughs]
Claudia: What do you say, rock?
Jason: That's -- that's real funny.
Claudia: Sorry. Jason: Don't hack into anything. We'll just have to wait till this -- this whole thing's over.
Spinelli: Ok, that is a great relief, indeed. The Jackal will now monitor your temperature.
Claudia: I wasn't kidding. Someone has to cool him down.
Jason: That's not going to happen.
Spinelli: Yeah, despite my longstanding camaraderie with my master, I do value my own life.
Jason: Yes, you take my temperature. Make it quick. Spinelli, could you just -
Spinelli: You told me I could.
Jason: Can we just -
Claudia: Hello?
Anthony: How's my daughter?
Claudia: I'm fine.
Anthony: I understand you're locked up with a very sick, vulnerable man.
Claudia: So?
Anthony: Jason Morgan rendered weak as a little kitty catty. This must be Christmas and my birthday all rolled into one. And you get to give your daddy the present. Guess what it is.
Claudia: Argyle socks.
Anthony: You're going to kill Jason.
Claudia: Why would I do that? Anthony: Jason Morgan's head on a platter is your ticket back into the family business. And because it would make your daddy very proud of you.

Monday June 23, 2008 - Part 2 Patrick: I am sick of having the same fight with you.
Robin: But you wouldn't have even thought of having a family if I wasn't pregnant.
Patrick: But you are. And at least I want the chance to explore the possibilities. Bin, I might be good at fatherhood. Hell, I might be great. Why would it be any different than anything else in my life?
Robin: He said with modesty. Listen, I love you, but I don't want to be your test run at fatherhood. I mean, I was really excited about being a single mom, because then I'd know who I can count on.
Patrick: I think you have your head in the sand. You have this romantic idea of you and the baby taking on the world.
Robin: I'm just being realistic. I don't think you have any idea what it means to raise a child.
Patrick: I can figure it out. But you want realistic? Everybody needs somebody, even you. You can call a nurse. Or you can have me, the man who loves you, the man that you're having this child with, be the one that you depend on.
Robin: You're serious.
Patrick: I'm going to go to the kitchen. I'm going to grab myself a beer. I'm going to grab a couple aspirins, no offense. While I'm gone, I want you to think about what I said. Do you need anything?
Robin: Herb tea.

Elizabeth: Fifth floor, Nurse Webber.
Robin: Elizabeth, I really need your help.
Maxie: I love your boat. It looks so fast.
Lulu: That's what the big motor is for, Maxie.
Maxie: Any chance you'll take me for a ride?
Johnny: No chance at all.
Maxie: It's such a shame. We could have so much more fun. I've had hair extensions more interesting than Lulu.
Lulu: Oh, for God's sake, Maxie, we have tried to not hurt your feelings, not that you have any, but you obviously can't take a hint, so I'm going to have to spell it out for you. Johnny is not interested. In other words, go away.

Claudia: I opened a can of soup and heated it up. That's as domestic as I get. Come on, it's yummy. Chicken broth, that's all you had. What, you actually think I'm going to poison you, Jason? Really? Mmm. You don't trust anyone, do you?

Claudia: Ok, I'll try to act offended. Wonder how Spinelli's research is coming.
Jason: I'm sure he's doing just fine.
Claudia: You trust him, right? He worships you, and you're sweet with him, in your own way. Maybe he'll find out something useful, like how long this thing is going to be contagious or when we can get out of here.
Jason: Maybe we can make it that you leave. You can leave any time you want.
Claudia: I don't want to contaminate anyone, but I'll be really glad to get away from you.
Spinelli: Stone Cold, a breakthrough. Remember how you ordered the Jackal to monitor Ian Devlin's offshore accounts, postmortem? There's been activity.
Jason: Have you got a lead on who Devlin is working for?
Alexis: Why is he still here? Jax and Carly have gone home. There's no reason for him to still be waiting there.
Diane: If I had to guess, I would say that Jerry is hanging around waiting for you to come out of hiding and face him.
Alexis: I am not going to parade my sex life around my colleagues.
Diane: Too late.
Alexis: What am I going to do? I just told the world that I'm having sex with a criminal.
Diane: Who convinced you to trust him?

Jax: You know, Alexis has the capacity to be deeply hurt, and Jerry's just the guy to do it.
Carly: Well, she's lucky to have you to defend her.
Jax: Yeah, she is, because my brother can't be trusted.
Carly: Hey, what if your brother makes Alexis happy?

Anthony: I told the bimbo who answered your phone before that I needed to see you, so unless you've drowned, unwrap yourself from Lulu and get over here.
Johnny: Why? What's going on?
Anthony: Your sister is in a position to take advantage of a major opportunity that's going to benefit us all.
Spinelli: The Jackal does not wish to mislead. What -- what appeared in the computer is merely a clue. It may be nothing more than -
Jason: Stop, stop. That enough. You can go away.
Claudia: I'm kind of trapped here.
Jason: Well, go upstairs.
Claudia: Fine.
Spinelli: Stone Cold, there's -- there's really no need for secrecy. Someone made a withdrawal from Dr. Devlin's account and deposited it into a second numbered account. The Jackal, as of yet, has not identified the owner of said account, but it is possible that whoever it is has no connection to the shooting of the littlest mobster.
Jason: Who Ian Devlin did business with is a suspect in Michael's shooting.
Robin: Are you still mad?
Patrick: It depends on you.
Robin: Well, I heard what you said, and I'm not dismissing it. I just think it deserves some --
[Knock on door]
Robin: Consideration.
Patrick: [Sighing] Oh, my God.
Elizabeth: Patrick, thank God.
Patrick: Hi.
Elizabeth: I knew robin would be here, but you're even better.
Patrick: Better than what?
Elizabeth: I need a babysitter. My regulars aren't available, and daycare is full, and Lucky's working, Gram's out of town. But the good news is I'm only going to be for a few hours. Do you think you could help me out?
Patrick: Oh, I really -- that's not -
Elizabeth: You really would be a life saver. Got him?
Patrick: Elizabeth, I have to take care of robin.
Elizabeth: Oh, please. Jake's no trouble at all. I've got food in here. I've got toys. He does need his diaper changed. Be a good boy for them, ok, baby? Thank you both so much.
Robin: Sure.
Elizabeth: Call me if you need me. I'll be back soon. I owe you big time.
Jax: So have you been feeling nauseous, like, all morning long?
Carly: No, I think it's just low blood sugar. I was about to make myself something to eat when I got the call that you were arrested. I'm just going to make myself a snack, and I'll be fine.
Jax: Maybe we should go see the doctor.
Carly: Doctor? Well, it could be the flu, but I don't have any other symptoms, just slightly nauseous. That's all.
Jax: I wasn't really thinking the flu. Maybe there's a chance that you're pregnant.
Kate: We're getting married. That's the plan, right? Not some long, endless engagement.
Sonny: We're getting married.
Kate: I know, I know, I should be calm and cool and unruffled, but I can't help it. I'm excited.
Sonny: Everybody -- a lot of people get married, so -
Kate: Uh, not me. This will be my first, Sonny, and there are so many things to decide.
Sonny: Like what?
Kate: Where are we going to live?
Sonny: Well, I assume we're going to live here.
Kate: Well, you cannot assume something that big. I love my house. I got it the way I like it.
Sonny: Come on.
Kate: I have these friends, Ann and David. They live in London. They're fabulous. You'll meet them at the wedding. They have two houses on the same street. They live in one, and they entertain in the other. I always thought that was a fabulously decadent idea.
Sonny: Yeah, yeah, we can try it.
Kate: You see?
Sonny: What?
Kate: That is the advantage of being adults. We can be madly in love but still be practical. We can build a life together but can keep our assets separate, which makes me think of Diane. Do you want to call her, or should I?
Sonny: What will we call her for?
Kate: To draw up the prenup, of course.
Maxie: Hold the doors. Oh, oh. Oh, you. This should be fun.
Johnny: It's getting old, Maxie.
Maxie: You know, for your information, I didn't plan this. I had to go home and shower and change before coming back to work, which happens to be on the third floor.
Johnny: Can we go now?
Lulu: One more thing. I don't have to lurk around hotel lobbies or jump into elevators to get you to notice me. You do that on your own.
Johnny: You know, I really just want to get to the third floor, so you can get off here.
Maxie: You are rude and a liar. I saw you watching me all afternoon.
Johnny: Yeah, I noticed how rude you were to Lulu on purpose. There's got to be a reason for that.
Maxie: Um, she deserves it.

Claudia: Sure, what do you need?
Spinelli: Might you monitor the master's condition in my absence?
Claudia: Where are you going? Spinelli: The Jackal must do further research and is finding it difficult to concentrate. A headache, no doubt arising from worry, tension, and lack of sleep, is starting to take its toll.
Claudia: Sure, go upstairs. Go get some rest. I'll watch Jason for you, ok? You just -
Spinelli: I must warn you, though. I fear the master's condition is worsening. Maybe a call to the hospital is warranted.

Leyla: We're putting him on an IV drip to keep him hydrated.
Epiphany: Antibiotics don't work on the Asian ague, so we're going to have to monitor him.
Claudia: I'm sorry. This is a hospital, right? That's all you have?
Epiphany: I know that I've been through a whole lot of schooling and an awful lot of bedpans, and I know what I'm talking about.
Jason: Elizabeth, can I go in?
Elizabeth: Yeah, as soon as he's settled. He'll be glad you're here.

Claudia: I get to be worried about Spinelli, too.
Robin: Elizabeth does have a choice about being a single mother.
Patrick: Lucky and Elizabeth are divorced. Lucky is with Sam.
Robin: Right, but if Elizabeth wanted lucky back, she could get him back in a heartbeat. But she's content with being an independent mother. I mean, the kids are happy --

Kate: Depends on whether we get married in Port Charles or Manhattan.
Lulu: What time of year are you guys planning on getting married?
Sonny: Well, I'm just thinking this is going to happen as soon as possible. Is that all right?

Kate: Well, Sonny, we need to be a little realistic. I mean, Maha and Federico need to design my dresses. I can't see us getting married before November.
Carly: You already have your hopes up. One dizzy spell and you think a baby is on the way.
Jax: No, I'm just saying that it's a possibility. So why not take a pregnancy test?
Carly: Because you're not listening to me. I know I'm not pregnant. I'm not.
Jax: Ok, ok. You know, I'll stop pushing it. I'll stop pushing and we'll see how you feel in a couple of days. How's that?

Carly: I need to take Morgan up to bed.

Harper: No one in the lobby saw the fight start. When they finally broke it up, Zaccahara was slamming Mr. Hayes headfirst into a table.

Trevor: Hold on, Miss Davis. There seems to be a big misunderstanding here.

Maxie: Yeah, we can't have an outdoor wedding in November.
Lulu: Roland is in Milan between thanksgiving and New Year's.
Sonny: Who's Roland?
Kate: Oh, he's fantastic at wedding shoots. But you know, we have the holidays to consider.
Sonny: No, no, no. We just keep it simple. Ok? All your friends are in Manhattan. We'll have it there. I'm ok with that.
Maxie: Or we could do it in Paris. Destination weddings are really in.
Kate: No, no, no, Maxie. We're not going to Paris or Milan.
Lulu: Why don't you just have it here in Port Charles, at your house? Keep it simple.
Kate: Well, that's true. With all the renovations, my house is definitely a destination. I could fit at least 200 people.
Jason: Hey It's Jason. I just wanted to tell you that Spinelli's pretty sick. He's in the ER. I just thought you'd like to know that.
Maxie: Yeah, thank you. I'll be right there. I have an emergency. Can I go?
Kate: Sure, Maxie. We'll resume in the morning.

Sonny: Why doesn't Lulu go, too, because we've got things to discuss.
Spinelli: [Crying out] no, the jackal's cyber strength is being sucked from his corporeal form. All his wisdom will be kept in tiny vessels and sold to the highest bidder.
Elizabeth: Spinelli, shh. Calm down. You're in general hospital. You have a fever.
Spinelli: But that -- that's not right. It was -- it was -- it was stone cold who contracted the deadly ague.
Claudia: He's going to be ok.
Jason: You don't know that.
Claudia: Look, it's harder to watch someone that you love suffer than to suffer yourself. I know that.

Claudia: I don't know. Maybe because he's the only guy I've met that's not trying to sleep with me or kill me. Which one are you, again?
Robin: There is a big difference between being involved and being a live-in parent.

Lulu: I went back to the hotel when I heard about Johnny.

Trevor: Gentlemen, I am sure that we can work something out.

Trevor: Oh, Mr. Baldwin, maybe it is time to let Logan speak for himself.
Scott: Listen, if you think you can try to intimidate my son, you can just forget about that.
Anthony: There's no intimidation. Logan's bright enough to know people make mistakes.
Logan: You're damn right I am. And Johnny made a big mistake when he hit me.
Kate: Ok. I know how you feel about the wedding plans. Your alternating looks of confusion and dread say it all.
Sonny: I was just -- I was taken off guard. There was so much going on --
Kate: Well, Sonny, you proposed. I accepted.
Kate: Doesn't wedding planning come next?
Sonny: Yes, yes. And I've already had five. I mean, my first -- you know, marriage to lily was just in the church. It was small, simple.
Kate: Right, and your ones to Carly?

Kate: Well, I want your last wedding to be special, a declaration of our love and commitment. I want it as dramatic as we are.
Sonny: You know, this is your first wedding. You should have everything you want, right?

Sonny: When I married Brenda -- oh, I didn't even marry her. I was supposed to marry her, right? And it was supposed to be big and splashy, and it never came on.

Carly: But he's not your child, and that's what we keep coming back to, isn't it?
Jax: Oh, come on, Carly. You know I'm not one of those men who needs to procreate in order to feel complete. I'm thinking about us here.
Carly: I just want to feel settled in. I want to be a good mother to Morgan. I want to try to move on with my life despite what happened to Michael.
Jax: Having a child of our own could be a part of that.
Carly: But I'm not ready. Jax, I don't know if I'll ever be.
Jax: But you love being a mother, Carly. If you're pregnant, then, you know, there's -- there's a chance that we can look forward to the future, you know? And Morgan will have a little brother or sister, which would be great. And perhaps it will let us all heal just a little from what happened to Michael.
Carly: What if it's just the opposite? What if a pregnancy tore us apart?.
Kate: Sonny, you can't live your life doing penance for your mistakes.
Sonny: It's hard, Kate, to move on. To not look back, and you know, act like hey, I'm not to blame for anything.
Kate: You changed your entire life because of Michael. You gave up your sons, you walked away from your business, all for the effort to keep your family safe.
Sonny: It's too late for Michael.
Kate: Well, it is not too late for you. You can choose to live your life to the fullest, Sonny. God is not going to strike you down and punish you because you're happy.
Sonny: I know that in my head, Kate. But it doesn't, you know, it's hard for me.
Kate: Michael would want you to be happy, right?
Sonny: Yeah, he would.
Kate: Ok, so we're going to get married, Sonny. We're going to support each other, we are going to have a wonderful life.
Sonny: I hope I can give you that, is all I'm saying.
Kate: I waited my whole life to be with you, Sonny Corinthos. I lost you once and I'm not going to lose you again.
Sonny: I just wish that, uh --

Sonny: I just wish that my children could be part of our joy.

Jax: How can a pregnancy ruin anything?
Carly: I'm just afraid, Jax, I am --
Jax: Of what? Losing another baby? What?
Carly: You know, it hurts so much that Michael isn't here anymore. But I know that I have to function and I have to put one foot in front of the other. So you know what I do? I detach, and I feel like that I'm standing outside my life looking in. While the real me goes through the motions where I get up, I get dressed, I get Morgan to school, I go to work. And through it all, the whole time, there's this agonizing pain.
Jax: Carly, you'll always have me and Morgan.
Carly: But I don't understand. Because I love you both so much. And it's so crazy that I could be here, standing in my own home, surrounded by my family and I feel completely and utterly alone.
Jax: Look, you're grieving, ok? You just have to try to get through it, you take each moment at a time. That's all we can do, we can just try our best.
Carly: Yeah, but you're always giving and I'm always taking.

Scott: The Zaccaharas know that Johnny is guilty, they're going to press you to drop charges. You know that's coming, right?
Alexis: I don't respond well to pressure from anyone.
Logan: Sorry, Mr. Zaccahara, but I didn't sign on to be Johnny's punching bag.
Anthony: Of course you didn't. Like I said, we all make mistakes. Ric made a mistake when he hired you to be my attendant. So, now you're fired.
Claudia: Where is Johnny Zaccahara?

Anthony: Did you do what I asked? Did Jason Morgan die in quarantine?
Elizabeth: Hey, Spinelli said you were sick, too. [Elizabeth's hand trailed Jason's neck]
Jason: My fever broke, I'm fine.
Elizabeth: You always say that, like nothing can ever hurt you. But we both know that's not true. I know there are times when you get hurt, you are lonely and you have no one to help you.
Jason: The only person I want can't be near me. I'd rather be alone.
Spinelli: It is most kind of Maximista to interrupt her burgeoning career in haute couture to visit the jackal.
Maxie: Well, I was worried about you.
Spinelli: Well, your concern warms my unfortunately fevered heart.
Maxie: Well, it won't be fevered for long, because I am sticking around and willing you to get better.
Spinelli: Maximista is staying?
Maxie: Of course. Remember when Sonny rammed your head into the wall and I took care of you to make sure you didn't have a concussion? I was a pretty good nurse, right?
Spinelli: You were superlative in every way.
Maxie: Ok, well, consider me your nurse again.
Spinelli: The jackal expresses his deepest gratitude. But if your priorities are with the fashionista --
Maxie: Spinelli, you have to get better. I honestly don't know what I would do without you.
Spinelli: The jackal reciprocates Maximista's sentiments.
Robin: Ok. How did you feel when your family fell apart?
Patrick: My family doesn't have anything to do with this.
Robin: Just answer the question.
Patrick: Ok, my family didn't fall apart. My mother died on the operating table and my father became an alcoholic.
Robin: When you were in college, right?
Patrick: And?
Robin: And you still felt like the bottom just dropped out of your world.

Robin: The point is that I felt like that, too. I thought that my parents were dead, and there's no way I am going to do that to my child.
Patrick: Ok, first of all, it is our child. Second of all, we're not going to go fake our own deaths, and I don't have a bottle of booze in my hand.
Robin: Right, but the loss of a parent is devastating to any child, it doesn't matter how it happens, if it's addiction or death or just abandonment. But you can't miss what you never had.

Matt: Well, the way I saw it, a patient was trying to have sex less than 24 hours after a life-threatening illness. So if you don't care that it will kill you, that's fine.

Maxie: No, Spinelli, I refuse to apologize because your doctor is hung up on some intimacy issues, not when Spinelli is such an amazing lover.

Kate: About Carly -
Sonny: Yeah, well, she's going off the rails, you know, and he's the one who's going to end up getting hurt.
Kate: You know, there must be something fabulous about Carly that evades me. And far be it from me to criticize two men that I respect, but from my position, Carly is a selfish, life-wrecking shrew who almost destroyed your life and seems determined to do the same to Jax.
Sonny: There's a lot you don't understand.
Jason: Why would you do that? Why would you tell Sonny I got you pregnant?
Carly: Why do you think?
Jason: You and Sonny?
Carly: Yep, me and Sonny. The night we took Michael to the aftercare facility, you know, we were just in a really emotional place. And on the ride back home -- you know how Sonny and I are when we're together.

Robin: Fabulous. We single mothers need to support each other.
Elizabeth: You need to work this out before it gets in front of a judge. I mean, come on, do you really like the idea of spending your hard-earned money watching Diane and Alexis battle over who's the better attorney?
Robin: But there's a principle at stake and you know that.
Elizabeth: Once the courts are involved, you are inviting supervised visits and social workers into the mix. And I know you, Robin. You don't even like sharing with Patrick. You are not going to be happy with a bureaucracy weighing in on your baby's life.
Robin: Ok, shouldn't you be saying this to Patrick? He's the one that went and hired a lawyer.
Elizabeth: You didn't give him much of a choice.
Robin: You know, I really thought you would have understood where I was coming from.
Elizabeth: It's unfortunate that my marriage to lucky did not work out. But he spends as much time with my boys as if we were still living together. And, honestly, if I had a man who could raise my children and love me the way Patrick loves you, I wouldn't ask for anything more.
Robin: If only he wanted to be a father, but he doesn't.

Alexis: Jerry is capable of arbitrary violence, which is why he's my best option.

Alexis: Zacchara brought up Kristina's name in a way that made me feel very uncomfortable.

Alexis: You think that the Zacchara family isn't going to track us down? If they want us, they'll find us. We can't just keep running. We live here. We have friends here. We have family who care about us.

Carly: You were with me when Michael was in the hospital almost every night. And the truth is, I wouldn't have gotten through this nightmare with Michael if it hadn't been for you. So, I mean, is it so hard of a stretch to believe that, in our pain, that we might have slipped off into another room -

Carly: I know. I know that this is probably bringing up a lot of pain with you and all the mistakes that we made with Michael and everything that happened with Jake, and I'm so sorry. I wouldn't ask you if I weren't so desperate, Jason.

Carly: Because that's the only lie Sonny would believe. Ok, fine, if I'm pregnant, I will take a paternity test when it's safe. And if Jax turns out to be the father, great. Maxie: Here it comes, the fake concern.
Matt: Your friend is recovering nicely from the fever. It's the other symptoms.
Lulu: What -- what other symptoms?
Spinelli: The Jackal fears that the battle of the blonde ones could possibly give the wrong impression. See, there's -
Matt: Do you know why you're here, Mr. Spinelli?
Spinelli: Well, I mean, like here in the larger esoteric sense, like why does The Jackal exist on earth?
Matt: I -- I meant -- no, just here in this hospital.
Maxie: Of course he knows why he's here in the hospital.

Spinelli: Well, the pizza delivery man. He arrived with large quantities of greasy carbs to assist The Jackal in his recovery from an over-imbibement of alcohol. He passed the dreaded ague to Stone Cold. The jack and Vixenella nursed the master through his dreaded, feverish time and unfortunately, The Jackal succumbed, the ague took hold, and here we are.
Lulu: But Spinelli's going to get better, right?
Matt: You may be right. It's important that he stays hydrated, and I am going to actually keep him for observation.
Maxie: Why?
Matt: I'm running tests. There are a number of possibilities.
Lulu: Whoa, whoa, whoa, what kind of tests? What -- what do you think is wrong with him?
Maxie: He just told you. He's recovering from the ague. Sometimes you're as thick as a brick, Lulu. So when can I take Spinelli home?
Matt: When I say so, but you two can leave any time.

Lucky: Staying. Sam, she is meeting me here. I had to cancel yet another dinner last night, so I'm trying to make it up to her by buying her a sandwich. Not exactly a fair trade, though.

Lucky: Yeah, Sam, she's the opposite. She never complains, you know. She always says that plans re made to be changed.

Alexis: Sounds like the Zaccharas need better bodyguards.
Ric: So Jerry claimed that Anthony threatened Kristina.
Alexis: No, actually, we had a lovely conversation about Kristina and her day camp and how little children who wander off by the water can drown, even if they know how to swim.
Ric: Alexis, please -
Alexis: He's a lovely guy, really. I can understand why you worked so hard to get him freed from prison. I sure as hell hope he pays you well.
Claudia: Look, this is really not a great time for me. I -- I have lot of stuff to take care of.
Nikolas: Look, ok, ok, it'll just take a moment, ok? Listen, my aunt is Alexis Davis, the district attorney, and your father is threatening her daughter Kristina. I mean -
Claudia: Ok, ok, ok. My father wanted Johnny released from custody, and he went about it in a completely wrong way.
Nikolas: There's no point in explaining. Either convince your father to back off, or I'm sorry, I'm going to have to go to Jason Morgan and tell him that you and your brother were responsible for Michael's shooting.
Carly: I can't look.
Jason: You have to.
Carly: You look.

Carly: You know what I think? I think if I were pregnant, that you think that you wouldn't lie for me, but I know you would, and I know you'd hate every second of it, but you would do that for me, and because of that, I love you. Thank you.

Anna: They say that children model their relationships based on what they see in the family. Robin's seen a lot of people leave.
Patrick: Robert didn't even know Robin existed until she was, what, six? Is that a decision you wish you made differently?
Anna: Oh, I'm not beyond regrets. I can't change the past, and beating myself up over it is just a waste of energy that could be spent better elsewhere. Robert loves Robin. He always has. But for most of our childhood, we were co-parents and not together. And it could be that Robin kind of views parenting as the father is free to live an independent life and just pop in and visit whenever he's able.
Patrick: Well, that might work for Robert, but it doesn't for me. I had a father that was hardly ever around, and I want to be better.
Anna: Want to prove something to your father?
Patrick: No, prove something to my kid. I want our child to have what Robin and I didn't.
Lucky: Mm-hmm, yeah, you could have warned me she was listening.
Mike: Yeah, well, you know, you were paying attention to your lady, wanting her to feel appreciated. Now, there's no way I was going to mess with that, especially when Sam was enjoying it so much.
Sam: A little bit.
Lucky: Do you feel appreciated?
Sam: Do I? Yes, actually, more every day when I'm with you, so please do me a favor, and don't ever think twice about canceling or rescheduling. That's -- look, I -- stress, you don't need it. I don't need to put it on you. So just take that as a not-so-subtle hint, by the way. So why were you working late last night?
Lucky: Ah, Johnny Zacchara and Logan Hayes got into a fight last night. Scott Baldwin wanted Zacchara arrested and had him charged with attempted murder.
Sam: Oh. Ok, that sounds a little extreme.
Lucky: Yeah, especially when I have three witnesses claiming that Logan Hayes hit Zacchara first.
Sam: And you're trying to prove that Johnny's innocent. Your sister must love you for that. You are a good brother.
Lucky: More like a three-ring circus, because Zacchara's father and sister were standing there.
Sam: They were? Ok, well, then I'm sure Ric and Trevor Lansing weren't too far behind.
Lucky: Yeah, they were all there demanding that Zacchara be released, while he was in the interrogation room, sitting there like a prince. More like a mob prince.
Sam: I am sure everyone's doing back flips to save the favorite son.
Lucky: Well, I made Lulu stand there and watch, because she needs to understand that this kid is never going to be getting out of the mob.
Sam: I -- I just -- I -- I don't think that's the thing that Lulu is worrying about right now. It's probably the last thing she's worrying about. All she's thinking about is how Johnny Zacchara makes her feel, and the one thing that I can relate to is that, you know, when you have this attraction. You can't stop somebody from that, and I mean, I think maybe you should brace yourself for it -- love.
Lucky: You think Lulu loves Johnny.
Sam: I think you think so, too.
Lucky: The thing is that Lulu is a lot like my mother, and this could be a bad thing. This could be a really bad thing.
Ric: Alexis, I'm not going to make excuses for Anthony Zacchara.
Alexis: You don't think Zacchara's serious?
Ric: No, I think he was trying to scare you, and it worked.
Alexis: Oh, so Kristina's not in any danger.
Ric: No, she's not. I swear to it.
Alexis: And it makes it ok, because he was -- he was just kidding.
Ric: No, that's not what I'm saying, ok? I'm just saying that there's no reason for you to overreact, when there's nothing to be concerned about.
Alexis: According to you, because if you said anything else, it would make you wrong,

Ric: Alexis, do you honestly think that I would let Anthony hurt the children?
Alexis: You beat me in that courtroom at his sanity hearing, and this is the price of your victory.
Ric: Anthony -- listen to me, please. Anthony is a master manipulator. I have watched how he works. He's ruthless. He goes after a person's Achilles Heel, and he punctures it. That's why he threatened Kristina. He's not stupid. He's not going to go after a small child. Kristina's not in danger.
Alexis: Foolish me.
Ric: But you know what? The thing that you did make a mistake in is trusting Jerry Jacks, because he is not the good guy that you think he is. He is a card-carrying psychopath who would hurt somebody else's child. He hurt a helpless, unarmed woman for fun and amusement. And he is on your side right now, but that can change in a heartbeat.
Alexis: Jerry Jacks defended my daughter, which is a lot more than I can say for you. Excuse me.
Johnny: If my father doesn't hear from me soon, he's going to start to worry. He's going to do something about it.
Jerry: I'm just curious. Do you agree with your father threatening little girls? I mean, I'm -- you know, I'm just asking. I'd like to know who I'm dealing with.

Jerry: No, no, no, this is where you're trying to convince me that it was done in earnest, that it was done to terrorize the child's mother, which apparently is acceptable.
Johnny: My father miscalculated. He wanted to frighten Alexis. He had no idea that she had you to turn to.

Johnny: He received your message. The Zaccharas will leave Alexis and her child alone.

Spinelli: A -- a god of epic proportions. He invented the first electronic computer.
Matt: Yeah, he very well might have had what I suspect you have. You appear awkward in social situations, and you find it difficult to pick up on social cues. You're passionate about singular topics, and you have obsessive behavior, and you can't make small talk.
Spinelli: Stone Cold -- um, yeah, Stone Cold -- maybe he and I have the same syndrome. It would explain our deep and abiding connection.
Matt: Ok. I don't know who Stone Cold is, but I would be happy to examine him.
Spinelli: Well, he would undoubtedly refuse. See, he -- he shuns medical attention, even when suffering from gunshot wounds.
Matt: Ok, well, I would have to run some tests in order to properly diagnose you.
Spinelli: Actually, The Jackal doesn't care to be diagnosed. He is who he is, and unless that requires quarantine, nothing else needs to be said.
Matt: You're not interested in changing some aspects of your personality, things that you aren't happy with?
Spinelli: Look, The Jackal is quite happy. Thank you. And the last time he tried to change his behavior, he ended up with a near fatal fever, so thank you for your analysis, Dr. Doom, but let us mutually agree that this conversation never happened.

Kate: Well, I'm so pleased the two of you actually bothered to show up for work.

Robin: Ok. You might be right. I mean, I've told myself that Patrick wants to be involved with this child because he thinks that he should. Because everything else aside, Patrick is a good man, and he thinks that a good man should step up. Jason: She didn't have to tell me anything, Sonny. I saw the test. There is no baby.
Sonny: Ok, but according to Carly, you -- you could've been having her baby. I just -- I just want to hear the truth from you. Are you sleeping together?
Jax: Is there a chance that Sonny could be the father of this baby?
Carly: There is no baby.
Jax: But we won't know that for sure until you take a test, right?

Robin: First of all, me and the baby moving in with Patrick is absurd.
Patrick: And cramming a baby into a closet isn't?
Anna: He has a point. A closet is no place for a child.
Robin: It isn't a closet. It's a dressing area that's about to become a nursery.
Diane: Well, call it whatever you will, no woman should be forced to store her couture in boxes by the bed.
Anna: You know, I mean, Patrick has all the room in the world.
Robin: Ok, look, I know that you mean well and somehow you've managed to convince yourself that siding with him is actually good for me, but I can assure it isn't. I mean, this whole situation is completely ridiculous.
Patrick: I couldn't agree more.
Diane: Patrick, statements like that do nothing to enhance your position in a court of law.
Elizabeth: Ok, I'm sorry to interrupt, but why involve the courts at all? The last thing either of you want is a long, drawn out custody battle. Take it from somebody who's been there. It's not going to do anybody any good, least of all that baby.
Diane: If Patrick wishes to withdraw petition, all he has to do is ask.
Robin: In the interest of our child, will you let this go?
Patrick: What kind of father would I be if I didn't fight to be a part of my child's life?
Diane: And that settles it. I will notify you when the hearing is calendared. When you retain legal counsel, please have them contact me.
Jax: You were so adamant about not wanting to take a pregnancy test. What made you change your mind?
Carly: Because you were right, you know? If -- if I really were pregnant, I owed it to the baby to start taking care of myself and -- it was just the timing of it all. I wasn't able to focus on what a miracle it would've been, and I'm really sorry.
Jax: No, I'm the one who should apologize. I -- I told everyone before we even knew for sure, so I'm sorry.
Carly: You were excited, you know? You had every right to be. I know how badly you want a baby.
Jax: Yeah, but not at the expense of our marriage. I didn't mean to pressure you into something that you're really not ready for.
Carly: You know, with the negative test, it made me realize how badly I want to have a baby with you. I just need a little bit of time, that's all.
Jason: I haven't slept with Carly since the summer I met her.
Sonny: Why do you keep letting her pull this crap? I mean, it's been what, 12 years since she passed off Michael as yours? Now she's pulling the same thing? Except this time she's not lying to A.J., she's lying to me.
Jason: Carly was afraid that you would want to be in the kid's life. She can't take that chance after what happened to Michael.
Sonny: Come on, you're not -- you can't be defending her.
Jason: Carly panicked. That's what she does. She panics.
Sonny: Ok, what if Carly was pregnant? Would you have gone on with -- with the lie, claiming my kid is yours?
Jason: It -- it doesn't matter. There is no kid.
Sonny: I got out of the organization to actually do the right thing -- keep my kids safe, t away from the violence. Carly has punished me since Michael got shot. And now you probably already know this, on the way from the institute, we had sex. Right after we had sex, she handed me a piece of paper to sign away my kids.
Jason: Sonny, just -- why don't you just quit worrying about Carly and just focus on your marriage to Kate?
Kate: So I've already asked Jen to set aside eight pages in the fall issue for exclusive coverage of the ceremony and all the events leading up to it. I want everything featured, from the place settings to the gown I'm wearing.
Lulu: Oh, speaking of -- I -- I left a message for Maha. She's in Saint Tropez. She won't be able to do fabric selection until next week.
Kate: All right, fine. Have her send over some sketches in the meantime. Federico is already working on designs for the reception gown.
Maxie: I'd be happy to pick up sketches from Federico when he's finished with them.
Kate: Ok, Maxie. We can work out the logistics later. In the meantime, your function is of liaison. It is imperative that you get Maha's people speaking with Federico's. Now, I want the gowns to compliment each other, but I also want the individual style of the designer represented.
Maxie: Of course. I'll call him right now.
Kate: Ok.
Maxie: Federico, hey, it's Maxie. I was just calling to see how those sketches were coming along. No pressure, just my own curiosity.
Lulu: So, um, Sonny's a pretty private guy, at least as long as I've known him. How does he feel about his relationship being plastered all over the pages of a magazine?
Kate: Sonny is not used to, nor will he ever be, comfortable with the level of scrutiny associated with my position. There is a real chance that he may ask me to pull the article all together. In which case, I'm going to need some backups in place.
Lulu: Well, we could move up the piece on warning signs for breast cancer to coincide with national awareness month.
Kate: That's a good start, Lulu, but it won't fill eight pages. Why don't you compile a list of some other ideas that will tie in with the cancer piece. I want to be prepared at a moment's notice to drop it in case Sonny gets cold feet.
Johnny: That's one hell of a bluff.
Jerry: I assure you, I always have a contingency plan and this is no exception. I'll let your sister acquaint you with the details.
Claudia: Ian was working with Jerry. As a matter of fact, Ian wanted Jerry to shoot Sonny in the warehouse.
Jerry: I'm afraid I have to agree. I would never have pulled the trigger if I knew there was a child in the line of fire.
Johnny: So if you didn't trust Ian to take care of the job, why didn't you take Sonny out yourself?
Jerry: I didn't want the hit to be traced back to me, so Ian did the job himself and the rest is, as we know, painful history. Fortunately for all of us, Ian is dead. And as far as the law and Jason Morgan are concerned, the good doctor was acting out alone. But if you kill me, all that will change.
Johnny: What's he got on you?
Claudia: There's an affidavit on file that states I was the one who hired Ian.
Jerry: And if the information comes to light, I have no doubt that Jason Morgan will kill you both. Which brings us to our current dilemma, I mean, if it was me, I would only have one solution -- drop the gun. Keeping me alive keeps you alive.
Jax: I haven't been fair to you.
Jax: No, I wasn't there the first few hours after Michael was shot. Jason was the one you turned to for support. Instead of accepting that, I -- I resented that, in a way.
Carly: I wasn't trying to shut you out.
Jax: Well, however it happened, I just felt like I let you down. I wanted to help you in a way that no one else could. That's why I was pushing for the possibility of you being pregnant. A new life is the greatest gift I could think of.
Carly: I know that I have been distant lately and you're allowed to be angry and -- and frustrated, but you have to know that through it all, I never stopped loving you or needing you or needing you. And what scares me the most is that I am going to be so hurt that I do something that pushes you away.
Jax: Carly, can handle anything you throw at me.
Sonny: Why do you think I'm wrong, after everything that's gone down, to want to marry Kate?
Jason: Sonny, what you and Kate do is your -- it's your business.
Sonny: But why don't you agree is what I'm asking?
Jason: It's not up to me. It's not up to me.
Sonny: Well, that -- it's not up -- that's your stock answer. It's all -- you know, I can read you. So you -- you think that I am wrong to want to be happy when Michael's in -- in coma.
Jason: No, no, I think that -- that what happened to Michael is too big for any of us to live through all at once. It -- it's kind of like being in a car wreck when at first you're in shock. You don't feel the pain. You don't even know if you're bleeding until the adrenaline wears off, and then you have to deal with what just happened.
Jason: That's what -- that's what we're all trying to do right now, is just deal with what happened. Your answer's to quit and get married to Kate. Now, you know what? I'm not saying -- I'm not saying that's wrong. I'm just saying that you need to be honest with yourself about why you're doing this. This is about Michael and it always will be.
Maxie: When you say Sonny could get cold feet, do you mean about having his private life made public or getting married in general?
Kate: If Sonny wasn't committed to spending his life with me, he hardly would have proposed a second time.
Maxie: A second time?
Kate: Yes, Maxie. The first time was the one with cold feet.
Lulu: What changed? I mean, not that it's our business, but it's just, you know, kind of weird that you would run screaming from Sonny one minute and now agree to marry him the next.
Kate: Well, Lulu, it hardly happened that fast, nor in such dramatic fashion.
Maxie: Well, if you don't want to talk about it -
Kate: No, no, actually, I would rather have you hear the truth from me than concoct some story on your own. The truth is at the time, my only reservation was Sonny's line of work. Had he not been a known racketeer, I would've married him on the spot.
Lulu: Oh, so now that Sonny's not in the business, you don't have an excuse?
Kate: No, no, no, I don't, but Sonny does. He's still grieving Michael, and he may not be capable of facing all the trappings of a big wedding. And if that turns out to be the case, then I'll deal with it. And in the meantime, we have a lot of planning to do, so go, get busy.
Ric: Hi. Do you have a minute?
Kate: Uh, sure, Ric. Hold all my calls. So are you here in some sort of official capacity? I'm sure that Trevor isn't too happy that Anthony asked you on as co-counsel.
Ric: No, I'm not here to talk about Trevor and his shortcomings as a father. I'm here out of concern for my brother. Kate, there's a great deal of tension going on between Jason and the Zaccharas right now. I need you to keep Sonny from getting drawn in.
Kate: Ric, I love your brother and I would do just about anything to keep him happy, but I have learned my lesson. I will not manipulate him, even if it's for a worthy cause. Look, that was the way that other women dealt with Sonny and I personally believe that he deserves better, which is why I'm going to stay out of this, Ric. If you need to talk to Sonny, you need to do it on your own.
Jerry: What's more important, killing me or keeping Claudia safe? I thought so. Now, put the gun down.
Claudia: Do it, John. Look, I want him dead just as much as you do. Unfortunately, that's not an option right now. If we leave Jerry alone, he'll do the same.
Jerry: You seem to be forgetting that your father threatened an innocent little child. If any harm comes to her or her mother, I will go to Jason Morgan and tell him all I know about that night little Michael was shot.

Robin: Well, I'm hoping that you can still take on a private client.
Alexis: It depends on the case and the client. But since the client is you, you know that I would do anything that I can for you.
Robin: Patrick is petitioning for visitation rights with the baby.
Alexis: It's standard practice to want to work up a custody arrangement when the parents are living in different houses.
Robin: When the baby is still in my womb? Please, tell me that this is just a scare tactic on Diane's part and Patrick cannot actually win this case.
Alexis: All right, you should know that Diane is very good. She's a very thorough attorney and I don't think she would file a motion if she didn't think the judge would grant a hearing.
Robin: Am I the only one that thinks that this is crazy? I mean, doesn't this violate my right to privacy?
Alexis: Technically, no, because Diane can argue that you've already had this amount of time to bond with the baby and Patrick is afforded the same amount of time.
Robin: Well, that's ridiculous. Because no matter how much Patrick wants to rub my belly or talk to the baby, he'll never be connected to it the way that I am. And the truth is, he's only doing this because he wants me to move in with him.
Alexis: I'm going to say something to you from one single mother to another. It would be far less complicated if you had a relationship, a decent relationship with the baby's father. Unless, of course, he poses an emotional or physical threat.
Robin: Of course not. Patrick would never hurt the baby.
Alexis: Robin, you would be far better served to make room for Patrick in your life. Otherwise, you would have a lot more to lose than just a few hours a week with your baby.
Elizabeth: I know you're trying to convince Robin that you want to be a good father, but taking her to court? It's only going to make her dig her heels in even deeper.
Patrick: What choice do I have? I've told Robin every way that I can that I want to be a part of our child's life and she doesn't seem to hear it.
Elizabeth: I think you're just going to have to give her time.
Patrick: Elizabeth, my back is against the wall. In a few months, she's going to give birth. Now, if I want to be a part of our kid's childhood, then family court is the only option.

Spinelli: Oh, um, The Jackal has just undergone a battery of, well, no doubt beneficial, if somewhat disconcerting, tests to measure his optimum health and wellness. And while being returned to the confines of my regrettably plain room, the pleasant pusher was called away. So rather than incurring the wrath of the administrative staff by violating hospital policy and wheeling myself back on my own, The Jackal has decided to remain patiently here and wait for the return of the orderly one.
Elizabeth: I'll take you to your room.
Spinelli: That would be lovely and give The Jackal a chance to explain the true meaning of our previous conversation. See, well, The Jackal is most certain that Vixenella clearly harbors feelings for Stone Cold -

Jax: You know, the reason I brought up Sonny possibly being the father of this baby is because he told me that I should get a paternity test.
Carly: Well, who cares what Sonny says? He's out of our lives for good.
Jax: He may have signed away the rights to his boys, but he'll always play on your shared history.

Alexis: No, that's not what I'm saying at all. Listen, I'm a champion for mothers' rights, and I'll be happy to put on my lawyer hat for you if that's what you'd like. I can't guarantee that you're going to win. It will, however, be a very interesting case. Because as absurd as this sounds, Patrick actually has a very compelling argument.

Sonny: Pressured how?
Ric: By implying that something could happen to Kristina while she was away at camp.

Ric: Ok, Sonny, I realize that you want to protect Kristina. But realistically, what can you do? Are you going to call Jason now? Are you going to tell him to kill Anthony?
Sonny: If that's what it takes, Ric.
Ric: Sonny, unless Jason is prepared to wipe out the entire Zacchara family, there's going to be a retaliation, a full-scale mob war, and then you and your children are going to be a target for real.

Ric: Anthony realizes that a well-placed threat is infinitely more effective than the actual violence. I can assure you there is no harm that's going to come to Kristina.

Maxie: You're so amazing to me, Spinelli. Just when I was at a point in my life where things were so bleak and terrible -- losing Georgie and Coop, and my mom reappearing and disappearing again. Then you came along and everything changed.
Spinelli: Much has changed for The Jackal as well.

Nikolas: Well, we purchased them from the se distributor as General Hospital, which has had some isolated cases of meds not working.
Matt: Uh, right, right -- well, um, you know there's a lot of money in counterfeit drugs. Right, you take the real pills, you sell them to a different outlet, replace them with placebos. It's highly lucrative and an expanding business for organized crime.
Nadine: And Claudia Zacchara's been stopping by. Do you think maybe she has something to do with it?

Sonny: Yeah, that is, but you know what? I left him with a huge responsibility, and if I see that he's making a mistake then I'm -- I'm going to speak up.

Spinelli: Uh, but Maximista was so insistent on Stone Cold abandoning the premises.

Leyla: Right, I actually looked at his chart, and it looks like he's going to be out of the danger zone.
Maxie: Danger zone?
Leyla: Yeah, I mean, there's a chance of a relapse, but, you never know.

Nikolas: Whoa, Johnny is not the person that you think he is.

Lulu: Oh, my gosh, give me a little bit of credit. I am a very good judge of character, and I know that Claudia is disgusting trash and Johnny has a heart. The only reason he's loyal to her is cause they're siblings.

Lulu: Yeah, well, you know, they grew up with an abusive father in a dysfunctional home, they learned to protect each other. Any brother and sister would do the same thing.

She'd also want him to be Persian, but I'm flexible. He still has to respect my culture and my family. He should be good at what he does, and people should respect him.

Carly: Well, that's not Jerry's style, so you should consider yourself lucky there.
Claudia: For now. Jerry told Johnny that he would kill him if there were any more threats against Alexis or her children. I'm just -- I'm hoping that you can help me. Maybe you can talk to Jerry and get him to back off.
Carly: You know what? You said Johnny was in danger because of a mistake you made, and so far I'm not seeing your fault in a of this.
Claudia: Well, no, it's just that Alexis -- I mean, the idea that Alexis might -- might be the answer to getting Johnny out was -- was initially my idea, although I never -- obviously, never intended it to escalate to the point of threatening her children. My father wants revenge against Jerry, and Jerry would just as soon kill Johnny. Carly, everybody needs to step away from the brink here, so I was just -- I was hoping that maybe you could talk to Jerry, convince him to back off.

Diane: Mm-hmm. Well, I'm sure that Jax was sincere in his offer, but I can't help wondering if it didn't have more to do with taking something away from Jason rather than exploiting your cyber skills.
Spinelli: Why would the white knight resort to subterfuge?
Diane: Indeed. Jax is married to a woman who is fixated on Jason. Taking you away would be a form of payback.
Spinelli: Oh, well, I wouldn't want to be an instrument in Jax's revenge, however obscure, on Stone Cold.
Diane: All right. My advice? Steer clear of the Jacks family domestic drama.
Spinelli: I thank you for your wise, wise council, and The Jackal will have to find another way to remain prominent on Maximista's radar screen.
Diane: Mm-hmm. Oh, no, I want that one.

Kate: Tell Clarice I'm going to pick up the layout from the Cayman shoot when I'm in the city, and have the car service meet me at the private tarmac. I'm going to fly in Jax's plane.
